Thank you for not leaking the locations. There is a lot of money in that house. Those old military jackets were worth a lot on their own.

That was so sweet of you to put the uniforms in the trunk so they wouldn't get ruined. Thanks for posting this it was so heart wrenching and it nice to have Mark back exploring with you.

    AMAZING!
That abandoned house is a treasure trove of valuable antiques/collectibles. There's a small fortune in there.
It's a shame that it's been left sitting there to rot.

Right Dave, old codger is going to answer some of your questions. The old sink is called a Belfast sink. You don't have generals in the air force so he would have been army. I thought the writings were very emotive, glad I have 8 kids even though it cost me 3 wives. Dustbin men jackets were called donkey jackets. The army uniforms you found were WW2 battle dress pattern, I'm really glad you put them in that chest. The big coat was a great coat, have been glad of that many times, very warm and heavy, popular in the 70's for teenagers, we thought we looked great but we looked like twats. The coat with the crown on the sleeve represents a Warrant officer class two, so maybe he was commissioned during WW2 and rose in the ranks after that, unless "The General" was a nickname for an old soldier. The toilet pan in the wooden box is called a commode. Finally, the implanting instrument was for when we used to inject cockerels with a hormone tablet in the neck to chemically castrate them, it made them grow fat and they tasted great, eventually it was banned so who knows what it did to our balls, still, never mind.... I still had 8 kids!! Bless you guys, love your explores. Hope my ancient memories help.

I'm a bit of a WWII nerd myself but I'm more US involvement since my father served with the 101st airborne. I'm thinking the photo on the ship maybe of Bob's company and is a transport ship. Where is anyone's guess I could only think of a few places the British were involved and sent by ship. Finland, France, North Africa and Italy but I'm sure there's more I don't know of. My father brought back his wool jacket that I would play with as a child but most of his clothes he had on were ruined as he was badly wounded in Bastogne.

I love when you fella's find old places in Scotland. I'm only 3rd generation American on my Dads side of the family, all of his kin hails from Scotland so it's there I'm interested.
May I suggest you fella's take something with you to clear some of the brush and over growth out of your way when necessary so you can better access these discoveries?
It's only a suggestion, maybe a set of large pruning shears that will cut through that mess easily, the shears will fit nicely in your backpacks.
I also want to say you boy's are doing a excellent job and I find your behavior very commendable because you are so respectful of the people who once lived and their property. Your Mothers should be proud to have son's like you.

Absolutely loved this video. This is old school AWE. What an incredible find. Great to see you both back in action together. I think this is one of my favourite houses on AWE. The sink in the kitchen is called a Belfast sink. The Lux Flakes are soap flakes for hand washing clothes. The agricultural machine near the end is a sowing machine for spreading seeds or fertiliser pellets. There were some really nice antiques in there. There was a lovely “Work Box” and an old Victorian bed warming pan. Bob was a man of taste. Imagine the stories he could tell. Most likely fought in WW2.

I have to commend you for the respect you have when you enter into these beautiful sad abandoned homes. I completely agree with you when you say that it's sad that these old military uniforms are just left laying around. I totally agree. They are pieces of history from years ago. They should be in a museum type of facility to be enjoyed by others. I love seeing things like that. I c a n just about feel the pride that thry were worn with. You get me? It's so very sad that it just sits there abandoned and forgotten. It's so sad. I wish I could just up and leave to explore these places with you. It's gotta be wild and creepy at times. I can do without the creepy. I sometimes get creeped out just looking at some of these places. I can only imagine how it would feel like to actually be there exploring. Another thing that bothers me is things like this doesn't even phase the millennials of today. They don't see or feel the sadness that comes from seeing this. It's kinda sad. They have no clue and sadly they probably never will. 😔 anyway guys keep up with your explorations and the videos you bring to us. It's great exciting stuff. Love it all. Much respect and stay safe on/ in your travels!!he definitely had a clock problem. Lol 😆 🤣

This video reminds me of a WW2 soldier I nursed years ago. He was a prisoner of war. There are similarities with collective hobbies he had nostalgic postcards and was forever writing memos. It looks to me that this person had either passed on, or had to go into a care facility. Those that got through the second world war have a resilience. The had rail on the stair way gives indication that he was advanced in years, often the move to a care facility is quite an ordeal, and it's not uncommon for them to develop an acute confusion, applying adaptability they want routine and their environment the same. Sometimes there homes is usually get sorted by the relatives, or it stagnate. The person I nursed had very little personal belonging and we could never locate any family members, bit of a mystery really. He had never married, there was a picture of him as a young man with a child he would refer to as that little boy. We did a lot for him, sorted out his leg ulcers and he lived to be in his 90s. Emotive, when he passed on I saw his silhouette in full military uniform and I was comfortable with that... he stood for and the impression he left me with was like a salute. They are very private people, I would never pri into those memoes. The similarities are the same. Thank for posting, very interesting

The old pictures have to be relatives from the parents who received them from their families. It’s so sad there is no one left to pass on the family legacy. Looks like it was a good home in the past, extremely well built as most of your explores shows. Not like in the US. There are mansions built in the 2000s and much later that are leaking, falling down messes. Your respect for the places you go in is so ADMIRABLE.
Great to see the two of you together again.
Much love to you both. ❤️💕 from the US, and the state of Missouri.

This was another WONDERFUL video-you approach your finds with such care, reverence, and compassion for the long- passed owners. A favor please, however? Could you please slow down your camera movement? I am soooooo seasick from watching but I didn’t want to give up!
Bob was a man of taste. His choice of cologne - 4711 - is still available today and has been around for decades. My German grandfather wore it and I wore it for many years in remembrance of him-it has such a light, clean, and fresh scent that women can wear it too.
    Thanks for another terrific video!

My dear mam, ' RIP'. Used lux flakes because it was specially made for wool and silks. She used to knit cardinals for me and my sisters, and jumpers for my brothers. Sometimes she used a different powder called acdo that was gentle on woolens and delicate fabrics. Another interesting video from you and mark, stay safe out there. My lovely dad, 'rip' used to fix clocks and watches for people for free when he wasn't working down the coal mine at weekends.

Well done guys, great to see you back out together again. The toilet in the house is called a Commode. The toilet in the outhouse would have been filled in between being used, with sawdust or sand then used as compost after being stored maybe 3-4 years in large bins. The silver stretchy bracelet would hav been a pair of Armbands, they were worn over the top of the shirt sleeve, to keep it from slipping down below the jacket cuff. The wig was a Man's Toupee. Thank yoy both 💕

The name of the old sink is a 'Belfast sink'....or also known as a 'jaw box'
The garment with no collar that you asked about, is a shirt from WWII....it would have been worn underneath the battledress tunic that you put into the old trunk.....both of which would have been worn underneath the greatcoat, or overcoat that was hanging up...(you tried to open the button)...
Bob was obviously in the second world war, and perhaps other family members in the RAF/ fleet air arm or Royal Navy.
Well done for respecting Bob's home...as you always do.
    Great video.
Regarding the little plaque with Scottish Horse crest....the Scottish Horse was a Cavalry regiment...as was the South Irish Horse, and North Irish Horse etc.

HIGH GUYS, Groovy to see you young lads again. Was just getting ready to go take my drugs. You know the type an old lady like myself would take.LOL Then I came upon your new video. And had to stop, think for a mili second, then decided to watch you two. Drugs can wait!!
WoW, when you were reading that letter, I could've written it. Old and alone, but certainly not lonely or unhappy. Better to be alone and happy,, than with someone and unhappy. Believe me, it so true!!! That letter explains why this pad is left abandoned.
Watching videos of homes abandoned because of death and full of owners belongings just proves two things. One! Nothing an individual finds worth saving will likely mean nothing to any of those left behind. And second. We cannot take it with us.
We work so hard all of our lives to buy, buy, buy. spend, collect, collect then die. This should be one sign to us all that there should be so much more meaning to our lives than this.
The good thing for us all, is, there is. But, only if we choose to make the right decision!! I did!
That exit appeared awfully painful. I gave you a big thumbs up just for the pain suffered. Let's get it on and €xp£0R€!! No more breaks. Drug time!!

I was about to say each year getting better. But, I actually need to admit you and Marky started out pretty good since the start. But, before I explode your head with to much compliments I just wanna say 🙂 hope your enjoying your 🌙. And may P€aC€~n~£0v€ be with you, always 😊

That was a brilliant! what a real time capsule, so many interesting belongings and a lovely old house. I think Bob kept himself busy making and repairing things whilst listening to his radio, he did not need a tv , bless him. Great to see you and Marky out together, it gives the videos a more relaxed funny explore like the old ones, you two just have great chemistry, you can tell you both enjoy exploring. By the way at 33:39 when you pick up the photo there is a voice of a old gentlemen when you put it down. Take care and stay safe you two xx

That was an amazing treasure of history right there, from the war days, the uniforms and memorabilia would be preserved better in a museum, but youve done that in your filming, thanks for sharing. Awsome work.
