- A few pulls with my boys Fbo Accord 2.0T just for fun. My car is not at its peak, it has some issues as you can see in the video. His car pulls pretty good for not being on a custom tune, he’s running an ots tune. Soon he’ll go on flex fuel then we gonna rerun it.
Filmed in Mexico.
Recorded with my GoPro hero 9.

Great vid man
Thanks bro!
Bro that sucks man. That would kill my mood for even running. Hope that issue get resolved.
Yea bro it’s really annoying, cant even have fun with it.
Switch over to ktuner Hondata only good for the 2.0t I thinks that’s your problem. Most problems I’ve ever had relating to limp mode was stock clutch was slipping so bad it thought I was tryna no lift shift while gassing it. Doesn’t seem like that’s your problem tho
Yea I think that’s next, but ima install new spark plugs first and see if that does anything.
Would you say it’s a software issue from Hondata’s side then? Is Hondata good to run with or is Ktuner?
I was told by the tuner that it was a hondata issue. Hondata is good but ktuner is just a better tuner for the Civic Si’s, so go with ktuner bro.
Fairly new to the Honda scene but from what ive seen i plan on running Ktuner on my Si and when i give it to my son and buy myself a Type r im going with Hondata.
@@joshz7712 That’s pretty much the way to go, ktuner for the Si and hondata for the Type R
if you have a 9th gen or 8th gen go with hondata, if its a newer gen go ktuner
possible injectors? My car went into limp mode many times swapping injectors fixed it for
me. Especially run etune injectors will have issues.
Not sure bro, drob said it’s a hondata issue, i keep getting a p0234 code which says overboost. He said he message hondata about it but still waiting on response.
@@Dimelowcrew Another thing it may be is spark plugs. I ran into this issue with my 12 Ecoboost F150. I ran an FBO set up on it, it was fast for a truck. But limp mode was a common thing. Apparently what happened to me was i just needed new spark plugs. The plugs i bought specified the exact depth and i made sure the mechanic installed them to those specs and it fixed the issue 100%.
@@Dimelowcrew dang that sucks hopefully fixed soon
@@joshz7712 Thanks for the info I will look into it. It might be spark plugs because it did run into spark plug issues when it was at the dyno, the tuner said I had to gap them.
Love the accord but its too heavy and the si will keep beating it.
@@w0lf9009 The Accord is pretty heavy but it moves for not being dyno tuned yet.
My Si has 350whp so it’ll make the 2.0 with 290whp look slow lol. Once he’s dyno tuned he should be at around 340whp so it should be a closer run.
