You look great.At 57 I stopped dying my hair..I was born black haired but had gone dark brown..I love my white hair .It's a bit longer than shoulder, I'm fit...amd I think white hair is striking...When your older you skin changes ..and white or silver hair makes your skin look softer..and you can wear colors you'd never thought you could!!!! Keep doing what yourdoing!

I am 69. Four years ago, I was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer, and went through a single mastectomy and chemo. I pretty much took care of myself alone--since these were the early days of Covid, and I have no partner. Today, I am fine--and my beautiful hair grew back black and white. I used to color and highlight it, and I guess you could say it took the cancer diagnosis for me to go natural. I think every woman (or man) needs to do what’s best for them, but for me, it is such a pleasure to embrace my black and white hair! I am honestly just grateful to be alive.🙏❤️🌹

With my complexion, it was a disaster 😂 So when I go gray, I'm good with it.

@@deborahmannino3775 There is a silver hair shampoo at Sally's beauty, and Avon used to have some that takes out the brassiness, softens the stiffness, and makes gray look more silvery! It works very nice, and the shampoo itself is purple. It brings out nice highlights for gray hair.

My maternal grandmother was 22 when her hair turned a beautiful silver gray. She never dyed it, and always looked gorgeous. She never seemed to age in my eyes. You look gorgeous, and how wonderful that you are healthy. I finally let my hair go grey at the age of 73, and I’m very happy with it. I don’t care if people think it makes me look older. I had a stroke and I’m happy to be alive!

Love my grey hair…. They sparkle real pretty! Not dull. My Godson asked one time “auntie… why do you have sparkles in your hair?!” They are coming in lovely streaks. So much life yet to live. I love that we got it worked out ( for the most part lol) now it’s just time to flow and enjoy!

I recently discovered the beautiful freedom in not really caring what others think anymore. These years I carry are a gift. A good friend of mine discovered grey hairs on her mom's head when we were little and exclaimed, "Mommy, your hair has sparkles!"

I'm so happy to be free of the hair dyeing cycle, free of the chemicals, free of babying my hair with "color protecting" products, was it a "good dye job" and worrying about "brassiness", and feeling heart palpitations for a week after from all the chemicals, OMG!

Me too! My blond hair started growing in silver. I stopped doing the platinum highlights. Woo-hoo! I use a little dusty lavender temporary color--that's supposed to be ok--on my ends. Not on my scalp.

I recently discovered the beautiful freedom in not really caring what others think anymore. These years I carry are a gift. A good friend of mine discovered grey hairs on her mom's head when we were little and exclaimed, "Mommy, your hair has sparkles!"
