Yes, definitely! When I became impatient with the process it helped keep me focussed on the end goal. I was pleasantly surprised the day I had the last of the dye cut off. My hair looked and felt better than I ever expected.
I feel that grey hair is much more complentary to their complexions too! They all look fabulous.

I did it. With three inches of white roots; I cut my dyed hair. I just got sick and tired. I'm so proud . The cut is so cute.

I'm only 2 months in and found this to be so inspiring! I'm finding it so fun to transition! I'm 55 and have colored my hair since i was 15. I have no idea WHAT color my hair is lol! So far it looks like it might be salt and pepper with a white patch in front. So fun!

Hi Katie, I've often thought about maybe letting my hair grow out to its gray ... but for all the reasons you mention on your videos, I gave up. I've only tried twice .. but thought about it many many times. I'm 61 and have been blessed with younger genes, so I've been told ;) But now I am noticing some aging on my face and skin and want to embrace it. I saw your video on the dye stripe method and I think it may be fantastic ... I've decided I'm going to give it a try ;) Thanks a bunch!! Donna from Ontario

I was a brunette with pale skin and eyes. In my 30's went blonde. I went brunette one more time about 6 years ago but far too difficult to keep. I'm 6 months no colour and what shocks me is how dark my hair is with lovely silver highlites around my face. I wish that I had never coloured my hair as I would have enjoyed years of the deep shade that I so missed. 🩶
@@1ajtg I’m similar, spent years hiding lovely dark brown hair under various colours of hair Dye! Thankfully dark and gray look great together. Not used dye in 8 months.
wow i find it strange that some women won't say how old they are. Be thankful that you are one of the lucky ones to get older!!! Some people don't get that. Love all the gray hair! i am gray myself at 53 and i love it!

All your case are better mam, because i got gray hairs after 20 & after 27 started using hair dye. Now 30 full a gray hair 😢
I was probably fully gray by 30 too. It doesn't have to be sad thing - I often wish now i had just let it go fully gray and enjoyed every stage.

I started getting grey very young. I definitely still dyed it in my 30s.
Depends on the hairstyle. the Kate plus 8 hairdo is aging no matte the shade/tone

Idk if they look "younger" necessarily, but they all do look better. Maybe bc the hair dye wasn't complimentary to their complexions. That's an important question...

They all look better, but the grey made most of them look older imo.
Some look better with gray; some look better before going gray (better with dyed hair). That’s what makes it so hard to decide….since it takes years to grow out and then see if you like it. I totally get it, however….that it’s not just about what “looks” better.
Yes, that’s for sure! I feel lucky that I love my hair color and I do feel like it makes me look younger than I did with dark dyed hair - but even if I didn’t feel that way, I still would not want to go back to dyeing. I was so sick of the constant need to cover my roots - and my damaged hair was the worst.
So crazy how long this myth lasted, that grey hair makes you look older. Actually, aging authentically and gracefully is empowering. Why do we try so hard to look younger? It only ends up looking fake. I embraced my white hair at age 55 and never looked back. Like all hair, you just need to take proper care of it and of course it will look great!
I will say this, when some women lie about their age it's absurd. The women who do that are in denial and aren't being authentic 😄👌
I get what you’re saying but I don’t judge them - there’s a lot of pressure to look young in our culture, unfortunately.
What about men😢😢
Men aren’t given as much grief as women are about going gray, so I focus on women on this channel ❤️

I'm really on the fence. True, most of the ladies looked amazing. Some looked younger or the same. Some I thought looked older. I'm more confused than ever.
It’s just such a personal choice. Just remember that clothing, make up, and hair styles can also influence how youthful a person looks.
i think the few who may have looked older wasnt the color but the style didnt really suit them all in all they looked great

i made it to 7 months couldnt stand it, i did not want to dye again so i cut off all the dye, that was 5 months ago i am still growing it out my looks keep changing as it grows. . it is a hard jounrney harder for some than others takes some several tries but that is all ok everyone is different.
Absolutely amazing transformations. Every single photo made me smile. I'm only 6 months in and feeling liberated. I do have my difficult days, I wash it and redo and that makes me feel better 🩶 The photos are definitely inspiring!
