Buckeye fan here, Penn State absolutely got snubbed as we had one of the worst Offenses I’ve seen at the time. Thats the same year we got straight up embarrassed by Clemson 31-0 and had no real business being in over our own conference champion who beat us during the regular season.
@@bigzm9266yeah im a buckeye fan, and yeah i feel our rivalry has escalated significantly recently as both teams have done super well. however, i feel in between those 2 others guys. yeah i dislike penn state but our games are always, ALWAYS close. im also a huge fan of your guys' white out. i expect another great game between us again this year!
you could make the argument for both idk why it’s so hard for y’all to see why they didn’t leave out OSU they had 3 wins over teams that was ranked in the top 8 going into the bowl games one of those being a blowout win on the road @ #7 Oklahoma and the other road win being #8 Wisconsin. a fluke scoop and score loss on the road in the whiteout at night to a top 10 team shouldn’t be the end all be all lmao it’s body of work. Penn State lost to 4 loss Pitt.. they had head to head over us and won the conference so i see an argument with them aswell, at the end of the day no matter who was picked people would say the other team was snubbed the 4 team era kinda sucked for that reason
2014 will live in my mind forever. TCU was fully expected to make it, but Ohio State blew the doors off ranked Wisconsin 59-0 in the B10 Champ. That win was so strong, the committee had OSU jump over TCU into the 4th spot. Of course, OSU won the damn title, so the general consensus is they got it right, but i still think it should have been TCU. They beat ISU like 55-3 in their last game, and their only loss was to top 10 Baylor. Meanwhile OSU had a loss to unranked V tech, but since it was early in the season, the committee gave em a pass.
They gave the spot to the team more likely to beat Bama. TCU played a weak schedule that’s why the next season when they faced multiple top ten opponents they lost twice. Nobody wanted to watch Bama with a month to prepare against TCU, a team who clearly overachieved compared to their talent
@@kev614 TCU beat four top 20 teams including OU and K state who were ranked 4th and 7th when they played them. Weak schedule? Did you even watch the video? They also destroyed #9 ole miss in the peach bowl 42-3

Sorry, the committee doesn’t give credit for wins against overrated opponents they weren’t good when you played them just like they weren’t good after. your win over WVU was no more impressive than our win over Rutgers, WVU was just overrated. In retrospect, OSU was smart to run up the score on Wisconsin. It’s very possible Baylor or TCU would’ve snuck in if the B1G Title went down to the wire.
