- From many of the developers that previously worked on Limbo and Inside, COCOON is an interesting new puzzle game that revolves around exploring unique worlds in order to unlock their special abilities that can then be used on leaving the world and carrying it on your back. The game features a minimalistic aesthetic with its story, visuals and gameplay, giving players little more than the ability to move and interact with things.
These interactions, being highly context sensitive, are where the puzzle designs of COCOON come to life. The game makes use of its environment to not only tell its story, but to design its puzzles as well, often hiding hints behind things like rotating puzzles or hidden platforms that can only be seen when making use of an orb’s special ability. - Ігри
Incredible game. Disagree about the obscure hints as the game will lock you into certain areas until you can figure them out - you won’t backtrack to the start of the game thinking you’ve missed something, for example
Exactly and the way the puzzles are scoped so you don't waste time in unrelated areas is what makes this the only puzzle game that I've played that never felt frustrating or cheap. just extremely well thought out puzzles in an amazing atmosphere. I just wish it were longer
Agree with both of you. Didn’t have any issues with those puzzles. And agree you don’t need to go back to see if you missed anything
As a fellow Dane I wanted to support Jeppe Carlsen’s new game.
Loved this game, just finished it tonight. It will have you running back and forth, questioning your decisions, and later on wondering what goes where and what goes inside what. If you liked inside you'll love this. It's on game pass.
How short is the game?
Great little game to have on the switch or steam deck, too. Works great in handheld.

Started playing this game tonight it’s actually brilliant.
Wow.... For me, Inside - is one of the greatest video-game masterpieces of all time. I cannot wait to play this - from the visual design alone, I am already convinced this will be no different. What a refreshing approach, this is a masterclass in visual design and animation. Bravo!
Such a phenomenal game. They should use this world inside of a world mechanic in an open world genre like maybe a Bethesda game. This game is truly a masterpiece albeit short.
Cocoon is the smartest puzzle game I've played in a long time. Loved the color palette, sound design and difficulty progression.

@@obitosenju3768 Chants of Sennaar, Creaks, The Talos Principle 2, Chicory, Baba Is You, The Entropy Centre, Superliminal, Return of the Obra Dinn and Viewfinder are great puzzle games too.
Might be worth playing Inside and Limbo too since they're made by some of the same devs.

This Cocoon looks really interesting new adventure puzzle game and it's nice this is coming almost every platforms/stations Windows, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Ps5 and even Ps4 and Xbox one what's so nice for they who dosen't have next gen consoles or pc. I will buy and play this game on my Nintendo Switch because this looks perfect for Switch. Happy october everyone, this is the best month for gaming on the year like always. 🔥🔥

I played about 40 mins, and I saw no footage here that I didn’t see in my own play.
The reviewer claims to “not wanna give spoilers”, but o can’t imagine what kind of spoilers that this game would have (based on my time with it)
