- After months of rumors, Tango Gameworks' Hi-Fi Rush is available on PS5. It carries all of the post-launch updates and leverages the console as you would expect. While it signals a shift for Microsoft to a new multi-platform strategy, it still stands out as one of the best first-party titles.
As Chai, players battle through a rhythm-based hack-and-slash adventure with enemies, environmental objects and more moving to the beat. The colorful presentation and incredible attention to detail hide a deep combat system with multitudes of options. It also doesn't hurt that the story, level design and overall writing are consistently on point.
Hi-Fi Rush may face extensive competition this week, with AAA games coming up. Nevertheless, it's a stellar journey that PS5 players should check out.
We got Hi-Fi Rush. Now we need Sunset Overdrive 2.

One of the bosses briefly transforms the game into a _Space Channel 5_ / _Parappa the Rapper_ homage and it's freaking brilliant.
Hi-Fi Rush is a brilliant game definitely should be played by everyone.

For sure a must play. For anyone who grew up in the 90s watching early morning cartoons I recommend Hi Fi Rush. Brought me back to the time just before school when my mom was yelling "GET DRESSED FOR SCHOOL, YOUR BUS IS ALMOST HERE!" while I sit infront of the television with cereal running down my chin. I was sad to say goodbye to the characters. It's cheesy as hell but it's the only game I've shed a tear too in probably almost a decade.

Actually, there is an advantage in playing the PS5 version (or the Steam version with the DualSense), the game makes full use of the Dualsense functions in the PS5 and PC versions so that you can use the Adaptive Triggers in moments of tension and the Haptic Feedback that gives you more immersion whith the rumble and the game even uses Dualsense speakers at some points.
It's not much, but it actually makes gameplay more immersive on PS5/PC version than on Series S/X.
Just picked this up on PS5. It is awesome. Im not good at rhythm games but this one shows you how to do it and makes you feel like a pro. Loving it. So sad to see studio closed. Wtf Microsoft?

I just finished the game on pc. Excellent game. I played a ninja turtle game from 2003 that shares similar graphic style so hifi rush was instantly hitting my nostalgic feelings. Games is also really fun, in between the sweet spot of being not overly complex but also got depth. Didn't particularly care for the story it feels like an ubisoft story but the actors makes up for it. Overall really good game 9/10 for me

Looks cool but rhythm games is not for me, but I hope everyone else enjoys this game.
Lucky you didn't need to play it like a rhythm game, it has those elements but in game it's a fighting game, a guitar instead of a sword etc.

@@SolaireGamingPT Sure it's a rhythm game (you can hit on the beat) gets you more points, but, you don't need to play it like one, you just hit/defeat the bad guy's like any other fighter game, no need to think about the beat or rhythm, completed it twice, this is just my view for people who aren't into rhythm games (like myself) but would like to try this one.

I beg to differ we ate good for final fantasy 7 rebirth, hell divers 2, rise of the ronin coming out this week and it’s been getting good things about it so far and Stella blade next month.
