- Risk of Rain is back but in remastered form with Risk of Rain Returns. The quirky pixel art is now in HD and multiplayer finally has lobbies and a proper server browser. However, it's the base experience that will draw players in, tempting them with another run despite the sheer madness of higher difficulties.
New Survivors and alternate skills only enhance the experience further. It does incredible justice to the game while going above and beyond to enhance and improve it for a contemporary audience.

@@Deathtank75 yes, the dlc for ROR2, we want risk of rain returns. Exclusives/timed exclusives are terrible, it’s just a big middle finger to those of us on Xbox and PlayStation that are fans of the series and have supported it over the years

You mentioned a lack of text scaling options. When starting the game you can instantly increase the size of the text and it says that you can switch that in the options at any time. 😂😂😂
I have 104 hours in the original game! Just got this game today and the nostalgia!

Completed on PSVita : there were so many elements on the screen in the last level that the Vita run between 5 and 10 fps 😂

Love your videos and just started this one, but wanted to say that it might be a little too soon to say support for Risk of Rain 2 is effectively over, they just announced a new expansion today as well lol. So there's life in RoR2 yet (thank god)

part 2 was very fun, i tried part 1 and couldnt last more than a couple of mins....too much stuff on the screen and character was too tiny, uninstalled it after a couple hours. Have about 200 hours on part 2 which is super fun.
yeah I have hundreds of hours in RoR2. Really hoped they would have updated the controls with this re-release. I don't see any reason to play this over RoR2.
@@stonaraptor8196They have 3 different control schemes you can pick from. As well as one that is stylized around the controls for RoR2.
You can turn up the player outline for your character to see it better amongst the enemies.

It's Pretty cool how Risk of Rain was developed by youngsters however it is a Play Style Oldsters are more accustomed to...

i'm starting to think too many people just gloss over the artifacts in risk of rain.
Risk of Rain is a game I've never heared about of it but this Risk of Rain Returns looks surprisilly good an old 8-bit retro-style 2d action shooter platformer game and I like it. By the way there have been relased one game in yesterday what no one talking about and it's Tintin reporter Cigars of Pharaoh, there's no videos about of it there is only a trailers so would you Gamingbolt make a review video of that new Tintin game, it would be so nice because Tintin is one of my favourite cartoons. I should try this Risk of Rain Returns this game looks so fun and that video was good Gamingbolt THANK YOU! 🔥🔥
Part 2 is 3D, its amazing. You can make very powerful characters

it's basically a remake built on the original. the first game while fun probably still has some hang ups like how to set up multiplayer

This game sucks massive balls. I love ROR2, love the fast paced combat. You can't even aim in this game! Why are the controls restricted to only shooting straight infront of you? On startup the game even offers multiple control schemes. One even called " Risk of Rain 2 " controls. Turns out all that does is allow you to shoot using left and right click, your character doesn't turn in the direction of your mouse. Mega disappointing.
Skill issue to the max
Literally only annoying for flying enemies. It’s a 2d platformer, It’s not THAT bad.
skill issue? It's not like these games are hard. I yeeted and refunded this as soon as I realized combat is watered down to fisher price levels of easy. @@rando1018

dunno about luck or “rng” being the deciding factor at least most if the time it looks like i died because i took a bullet to the face not because i got bad items
