Un gusto, un fraseggio, una completezza sotto ogni livello. Questo ragazzo rivoluzionerà la chitarra moderna. Sono sicuro che ha ancora enormi margini di miglioramento. Anche se ad oggi é tra i migliori talenti al mondo. Forse il più cristallino. Nel contempo rimane sempre di una grande umiltà.
Musicalmente non credo che avrà rivali a breve.

As a guy playing guitar for almost 50 years, l can say this is the most amazing and talented guitarist I've seen and heard in my lifetime. Note selection, feel, accuracy, speed. And the style is borderline miraculous. ( The fingers as a pick the way he's doing it .........like a bass player and flamenco combined...) It really is otherworldly. And this is my favorite song to date. Buddy of mine said he's a youtube sensation. I said " no, he's a planet earth sensation. And dont think all the current greatest living guitarists arent saying the same things. This kid is a once in 100 years talent. Bravo, Matteo. ( Applause...) Keep on doing what you do. In the meantime......anyone want to buy any or all of my 11 guitars before l throw them in the garbage? ( Thanks for that, too, Matteo.....lol....) ...;)
I have been playing 60 years now and have opened up for couple of big name groups many years ago and I totally agree that he is the best I have ever heard.
I think Al DiMeola put it best. Matteo did for the guitar what Jaco did for the bass. I hope he’s planning to tour in the US

So sweet starts out with chorus, goes into an awesome verse then repeats chorus with octaves. Then solos over verse section. Incredible tune.

He's got it all... Unbeatable technique, amazing sound, and fantastic writing! He's on his way to doing great things... I've never seen anything like him in action. Such speed, such ease, and such total control, with a technique that makes my jaw drop every time...

Fantastic writing? Virtually nobody would bother listening very often to an album's worth of music like this, including you, I would venture. Your description of why you like him tells the entire story: "total control", " ease", etc. Yes, it's impressive, but "great things" are more than just these things.
Most of the greatest guitarist of our times are sitting back and scratching their heads at this kid.. just like Clapton and Paige did when Hendrix came on the scene... I've already said it once This kid has a complete Miles Davis vibe.. I swear he's just miles reincarnated
@@jarredharvey1 They're marvelling at his technique. But those guys were greats on strength of their original work, of which Mancuso has almost none right now.
@@asegal4677 Agree, Matteo has spectacular technique, really he is peerless but I would take David Gilmour over him any day. This obsession with speed and virtuosity is why keyboards have overtaken guitar in popular music. The human brain is not made to connect with this much information all at once musically.

His style is so clean and so effortless.... I stopped progressing with my learning years ago. But this kid is so good he makes me hope for another life where, next time, I will take the time to work both hands correctly and learn the theory and scales to master this fun and amazing instrument far better than I did this time around so far. Hats off young man..!

Mi stupisco di fronte al fatto che miriadi di musicisti, senz'altro dotati tecnicamente, ma anonimi nello stile e quasi privi di musicalità, vengano osannati , mentre un talento come Matteo non gode della popolarità che meriterebbe. Lo dico, per altro, da non appassionato di fusion (un genere, in tutta sincerità, da me detestato): dinnanzi a una bravura tanto evidente, cadono tutte i distinguo e le barriere. Sicuramente uno dei migliori chitarristi di musica moderna in circolazione.

I could study for 3 lifetimes and not be able to do what this gentleman can do at age 20. Beyond incredible.
The technique is obviously fantastic but his musicality and feel is just unbelievable.
I sit and watch a master half my age. I study your hand movements, right and left. I dropped my pick and haven't looked back. You changed me, made me better, and now I hope to learn your ways. If only I could pay for a masterclass, I would.
