Nat's voice never disappoints. She always starts a bit reserved but she really let go towards the end of the song. The look she gives Jack is of a woman very much in love. Jack is having way to much fun as usual! Fantastic cover. They didn't try to re-invent the wheel on this one and I love it.
A dream come true listening to Pomplamoose sing “Maniac” 😍 and without any mashups whatsoever 😍 after all these years I still love this film “Flashdance”, as well as all the amazing original songs, and I lovingly recommend it to anyone who liked “Dirty Dancing”
There is no group I avidly watch play all the way through a video besides these guys. They have the best energy and chemistry you will ever see and I am here for it every time.
3:21 she adds that little delay to the 2nd maniac and it REALLY locks you into the groove of the beat after that, I absolutely LOVE this version to bits.
3:50 Nataly looking at Jack - hot devilish grin from a cool different look. Three keyboards! Jack's so far into this all you can see are the soles of his feet. Also, the mixing on this is great. All of the musicians Pomplamousse hires are top notch and get paid what their talent is worth which is another thing I like about Nataly, ethics. The background singer is fabulous.
As soon as I saw this 80's aesthetic style so carefully detailed, on those notes, my heart jumped directly with joyful nostalgic brutality to the 80's. Thank you.
I'm very glad that for several months I only knew Jack as the grinning guy behind the keyboard at Scary Pockets and then Pomplamoose. It was only later that I discovered his day job is running Patreon.
Pomplamoose is pure musical magic and aural joy. They bring new life to classic covers and their originals are equally gratifying. There is something gentle and pure about Nataly’s vocal, and at the same time, powerful and provocative, forever with a young sweetness that runs deeper than you expect. I feel a satisfaction listening to them that I don’t experience in the mainstream music of 2022. I adore Pomplamoose and hope they never stop teaching others what real music is.
Beautiful voice and a beautiful and talented woman surrounded by extremely talented musicians - great job on this song guys. I love it. Please keep them coming!
UA-cam comments may not be the best place for heartfelt sincerity, but here goes: The love and joy you put into all of your music is profoundly moving to me. It gets to me every time I listen, but especially when I watch your videos. Thank you so much for making music and sharing it!
Wow, this is absolutely stunning. So many have attempted to cover this but rarely have they brought sth. really new to this 80s classic. This is definitely the best cover ever and in my opinion it's even better than the original because it is less cheesy and instead evokes that cool club sound feeling.
I think that's the loudest I've heard Nataly sing. Love it! I'm a huge fan of this song and Flashdance. This just needs a synth solo where the guitar solo was sadly omitted.
Merci, Nataly, de reconnaître la participation de tous les gens qui collaborent à la réalisation de vos vidéos. Trop d'artistes nombrilistes et ingrats les ignorent.
What a GREAT interpretation of this 80's iconic tune. You ALL are a m a z i n g, and brought me to tears of happiness. Thank you so much for your hard work and for keeping us entertained. Bravo a TUTTI !!
Been awhile since I've checked in on the mighty 'moose - holy s*^t! That was just amazing on every level. Playing it on repeat. That said - please don't forget your roots, folks. It's been awhile since just Natalie and Jack did a homebrew using whatever was lying around, with that fun sense of humor. Be nice to see one of those every now and again.
This is just amazing, you really hit it on the point. Not a native speaker and i can't find the right words for this very amazing work from you, much love from germany for you all.
This is my 2-year old daughter’s second favorite tune… This and your “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” video helps my toddler calm down… so THANK YOU for helping me with parenting 🤗
So. I’m back for my umpteenth listen of this. Just superb. You’ve found a real ‘ouvre’ for yourselves here. 80’s synth pop with 20’s class. Keep exploring. A top selling full on synth dance cd a possibility here, I reckon 🎶🕺🏻🎶💃🏼🎶😁!!!
Jack is having the time of his life. Just look at him. LOOK at him.
Who's jack????
It's so cool to see people having fun while making music! He's such an icon hahah!

C’est le mec à la droite de l’écran 😁barbe et casquette ! (En fait les 3 garçons ont des barbes et des casquettes…)
Ben too :-)
Love it - I haven't heard big drums like that for a while! 😀
This group of people have something special
There's this song, 40 years old. An evergreen. You couldn't do better than that. Until now. WOW!
I don't know what I find the most beautiful: the signing, the music, or the energy of this band. The ensemble is amazing!
I tottaly agree
As Bilbo wisely said: "All of them at once, I suppose".
Every single thing they touch becomes joyful experience. They find beautiful things where you never expect them.
I love how every one is smilling and so happy. That is what music is all about.
I just love them all to pieces .. I literally could sing along to them allllll day ❤️🔥
Nataly BURNS IT DOWN. Love the blend of her and Sarah’s voices.
Sarah! Thanks for her name. She sings beautifully in both languages and her voice is so pure and effortless. All that and pretty to boot.
I love the way Pomp can switch decade styles so easily and put its distinctive stamp on each number.
Sarah Dugas is a shining star on the choir 😍
maaaan!!!!! that's was just freaking brilliant!!!
There is nothing better than watching people love what they do! Their joy is infectious!
Nat's voice never disappoints. She always starts a bit reserved but she really let go towards the end of the song. The look she gives Jack is of a woman very much in love. Jack is having way to much fun as usual! Fantastic cover. They didn't try to re-invent the wheel on this one and I love it.

The guy in the blue hat on the synthesizer kills me with his over enthusiastic open mouth smile. Its super contagious and I love it!
He is the husband of the singer. He is also the cofounder of Patreon. He is also a Genius.
Best music. This group is my favourite. All talented musicians and vocal artists. so effortless and perfect. thank you.
This by far my favourite cover for quite some time (up there with Bigger, Faster, Stronger). Perfect! Opener for Best of 2022 easily.
Fully agree !
Agreed. Back in the groove
Agreed, I prefer it to the original. That's the best a cover can be!
Love Nataly's vocal on this! Her emotion hints at an underlying desire to break out into a *maniacal* dance. 😊
This is what friends want, when they start a band, have fun and set the jam to max.
Maniac are you guys! Fabulous!
There is no group I avidly watch play all the way through a video besides these guys. They have the best energy and chemistry you will ever see and I am here for it every time.
1:38 That prechorus is insanly good.
Love that VHS effect on your video ❤
Тут шикарно все, и сама исполнительница, и песня, и музыка! Супер!😍
3:21 she adds that little delay to the 2nd maniac and it REALLY locks you into the groove of the beat after that, I absolutely LOVE this version to bits.

Love how much fun the band is having
I never realized how much I like the lyrics to this song. Great cover!
What a song! What a band! What a pumping, slick, beautiful arrangement - You guys are right back in the groove with this one xx
Whaaaat...!?! This is insanely amazing! For real! Love the energy and fun I see from everyone!
I just. Can't. Stop. Watching.
so much fun here
So much tension, energy and musicality - another Pomplamoose classic 👌
Nataly's voice is back, stronger than ever, and out there....love it. She has always had a strong vocal tone when she reaches out for it.
Nataly did magic with this performance!!
2:22 "tiny orgasm of the drums nail it the real thing" ... you guys fill my heart.
I NEED JOB!!!
The Jack's energy and motivation is in his face, and it's contagious in a very good way ... I love Pomplamoose !
le revival 80's a encore de beaux jours devant lui...Merci
This has got so much groove to it. Best version of this song I've ever heard

Every time I listen to one of these it echos in my head for days. Stuck in the middle with you, is my favorite.
Beautiful voice and a beautiful and talented woman surrounded by extremely talented musicians - great job on this song guys. I love it. Please keep them coming!

let's hear her "sing" without the production stuff... no autotune.. no studio maniupations... bet she sounds like a jar of mayonnaise... 🙂
@@pesto12601 How to say"I've never listened to anything else they've done" without out using those words.
@@pesto12601 there is no auto tune or studio production. Pomplamoose were formed to avoid that. What you hear was performed live and raw.
@@sjzara HA! ummm no way.. that is so far from reality you must be listening to something else? Can you point me to proof ?
Truly glorious, Art, Rebirth. just glorious.
Bravo, Sarah, bravo, super! Pour ne rien dire de Natalie et des autres, tous au sommet de leur forme! Bravo!
Thank you, I love this song and I understand the words so much better now.
There is such a beautiful energy emanating from this performance, everybody having a great time!
the talent,the voice,the feeling...you have it all

Я влюблен в эту барышню!!! Голос, внешность, ГЛАЗА!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOOOOOW! This Unreal Music! Thanks!!!!!
New Nataly’s hairstyle is charming 👍 and her voice and music as great as ever ❤️ Thanks a lot!
I absolutely enjoyed your version immensely!!!!!!
Awesome cover! More awesome is the proper execution of “Blues sub-face A” by Karina at 2:35 throughly enjoyed that. :)
Perfeitos maravilhosos,
super profissionais, Parabéns a todos...
A voz da cantora é inigualável
❤❤💚💛🇧🇷🇧🇷👏👏👏👏👏
Not a usual song to cover……👍 love the enthusiasm
The thumbnail got me. Instant click and having now listened to the first 10 seconds, instant repeat. Love it
Best cover of the song I've ever heard, love the synths.
Totally amazing folks. Beautiful vocals.
*Beautiful. Greetings from Brazil.*
Wtf... That seems so good as the og 😱 congratulations
Excelent version! Not only does it live up to it, but it surpasses it... and I'm from the '80s... I congratulate you. Saludos desde la Argentina
I feel like Natalie has held back for a long time. It's good to hear that voice is still in there.
Three IS way better than one; superb wall of sound and plenty of depth from Ben Rose. Thanks for The Pomplamoose Energy Boost! Love this.
Wow, this is absolutely stunning. So many have attempted to cover this but rarely have they brought sth. really new to this 80s classic. More 80s than the 80s. Pomp extracts the essence, leaving aside the distractions that surrounded the original.
Everytime I see Swatkins I'm like "Come on! Do you talkbox thing!" :D
Best rendition of the song by far - Thank you so much for this perfect cover of one of my favorite and an 80's icon song ❤❤
Sûrement l'un des plus beau cover que j'ai jamais entendu !!!
Vuestro fans no 1 de mendoza, Argentina los abraza!!!!
The most unexpectedly epic tune for Pomplamoose!!
Listening to and watching Pomplamoose perform is the enjoyment of music in its pure form.
Love it - I haven't heard big drums like that for a while!
Thanks for this version. It's si good!!!
What a great idea! Wonderful sound! Love the booming drums, too! Hypnotic, all-enveloping. Vocals from heaven!
I think that's the loudest I've heard Nataly sing. Love it! I'm a huge fan of this song and Flashdance. This just needs a synth solo where the guitar solo was sadly omitted.
I think it was fine without a synth solo, but I also recommend looking up Gabriella Quevedo's guitar cover of Maniac.
the best !!!!!!

OMG! That snare! Those toms! And that JP-8000! 😍
Só a velha guarda para saber que essa música foi um dos hits da trilha sonora do filme "Flashdance"!!!! Bons tempos...bons compositores!!! =)

I love this group their passion for playing music
From 2:21, during the bridge, the drume machine quotes the famous opening riff from "Enola Gay" by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (1980).
Nataly naturally has an 80's vibe about her & that drum sound by Ben is bang on, superb.
listening to this ten times a day will keep misery away..
Nice indeed meet it up!!!❤️😇🙏
Kimiko's "Dance" brougth me here.
