Thank you, thank you Rebecca……I was about to give up on my bread maker, when I found your video tutorial. I’m in England (Cornwall) and I toiled through lockdown having no success with my bread, but today I cracked it thanks to you.🥰👏🏻. Here’s to another 979 loaves before I need a new bread maker!
    (I’ll have to go some- I’m 83 now😂)

Rebecca - Can you share a recipe for making bread in an instant pot? I think a lot more people have instant pots than have bread machines. You are helping so many people everywhere everyday, thank you- you are so positive in this time of uncertainty. Perhaps
showing people they can make their own daily bread might reduce some anxiety.

I use my bread machine every week and I love finding new recipes BUT I get very aggravated when people don't leave the recipe and amounts in the description below. I always skip to the next recipe. See I write the recipes down and if they are really good I share them with others BUT I don't have the time to watch, pause and write the recipe down.

Awesome! Thank you! TIP: IF YOU keep your breadmaker on the counter -- with your cannisters of flour, sugar, oil near and salt --then yeast in a glass jar HANDY in the fridge, you will get to a 30 second routine. The cost, if you buy your flour and yeast in bulk, is only 50 cents a loaf and you can have fresh bread every day. This is how I raised my kids, every day when they got home from school, this was their snack with peanut butter, honey, etc, or with dinner. It was so special, made the house smell good and so cheap! I bought all my breadmakers then from thrift stores, $5 each. they each lasted about a year and I was always on the look out for them and had them stocked up in my garage, no joke. I didn't care the age or the model they all work about the same. thank you for writing me.

Today when I went to drop off my granddaughter, her mom had a bread maker on the porch that she was going to get rid of, I asked her about and she gave it to me for free. The booklet of instructions was inside and she said that it works but she preferred to make bread with out the bread machine. Guess who is going to learn make bread at home now?
That’s right, one of your viewers. Me. 😊
    Thanks for your videos.

That is awesome!!! I tape the recipe on the machine for my helper to do now. I leave out the Flour, Sugar, Salt, oil in easy reach, right next! The yeast in the fridge easy to find. then, it only takes 1 min to put it all in! Measuring cups too--- I only clean out the oil Tablespoon, since the others are dry ingredients. I'm so glad you like this!

I can't believe I finally made a good loaf of bread!!! Yay!
I have tried different cookbook recipes & a few bread machine recipes from videos, but always disappointed. I was beginning to give up hope...until I made this tonight & it's amazing. I'm happy to say I needn't look any further for a basic everyday go to homemade bread method.
btw, watching your video was like being in the kitchen with a good friend showing me how to bake bread. You have a way of not complicating the process, which convinced me it would be so easy. I walked immediately into my kitchen to try it. I appreciate that. Thank you.

I actually proof my yeast with half of the sugar for about 10 minutes, and then I pour the yeast mixture into the bread machine pan. Then I add the oil, and the remaining ingredients. I also add 2-1/2 tsp. of dough enhancer to my flour mixture and you end up with a loaf of bread with a better texture and a long shelf life. Dough enhancer I purchased off of Amazon.

Hello Again. Today I made my first bread with your recipe. It taste awesome. But I did reduce the amounts of the flour and the yeast and the water. I only used 1 cup of water , 3 cups flour and 1 teaspoon of yeast. (Bcuz I don’t like a lot of yeast.) I left the oil the same, and salt and sugar. And guess what? I’m eating a delicious slice of bread. After watching this video so many times finally I got to it and it is a Wonderful work of artisan bread (to me). God bless you and your family. Thank you.

Im a newby and I just got my new bread machine! For my first loaf, I used the basic recipe that came with the machine...major disappointment. Even tho it tasted fine it was very dense and didn’t seem to rise much. The dough ball dry so I had to add a tbsp of water and it was still hard and non-elastic.
Ok! So! With THAT done I proceeded to set up YOUR recipe to auto start the next morning! What a delight! Even after sitting in the machine all night, the ingredients whipped up perfectly into a wonderful loaf of bread! The only thing I did differently was I removed one tbsp of flour and added back one tbsp of vital wheat gluten! Ohhhh, it was so soft and chewy! Thank you so much for this easy delicious recipe! You made this beginners first fore with a bread machine a success!!!🥰

After the second knead, you can remove the dough ball and pull out the kneading paddle, reshape the ball and return to the machine to rise and bake. Now you will only have a small holdd in your bread instead of a big one through the crumb.

No, it's the normal recipe for regular loafs... it's light and airy from the yeast. The flour 3 and 1/3 cups is exactly a pound.... Press the button for the regular loaf size

No need -- easy to add choco powder -- but I'm worried about the ratio with the sugar, if you want a cake, I'd change the recipe altogether.

However I did try to make this bread it must of triple in size it opened the top. I only have one paddle. It's a Panasonic old old model or maybe because I used instant yeast. What do you think? Do I need a smaller recipe it's a small bread box.

    • @RebeccaBrand
      @RebeccaBrand  Рік тому

I think maybe you had too much sugar and too much yeast? that's my first guess, this size of recipe really works on all models.

Hi there, I tried you're recipe and it turned out great except the top collapsed a bit. I'm going to try again and if it drops again should I slightly cut the amount of water or oil?////update--Dud a second loaf and it came out good except for the top dropping a little. This time it fell maybe an inch but more uniformly. Last time just the middle of the top became concave. I must say your recipe makes wonderful bread. I can see why u use multiple machines. Would be nice to make more at one time.

    • @RebeccaBrand

If the top falls, it usually is too much oil. 1 Tblspoon exactly really works! I've made a loaf a day since my kids came home for Xmas! it's a great recipe! Thank you for your detailed comment!!
