I love how originally Vegeta attained Super Saiyan by accepting that he couldn't pull it off and that he was a lot more zen with himself, despite being severely pissed. In this What-If, I love how at the end Vegeta while he lost himself, he realizes what he became and then truly accepts his fate at the end. Truly a god-tier ending.

He was at a point where he accepted himself that he wasn't the Super Saiyan, and used the anger from the torturous training he did and all that effort he put in coming to nothing. Thats what triggered it. He accepted he was never going to become one and he hated that feeling, so much so to a point he triggered it.

If what happened in the good ending actually happened!!!! Imagine the story they could have made out of it. Goku striving for super Sayain after witnessing what vegeta achieved. Piccolo and gokus rivalry would continue and piccolo would remain in strength with goku. Gohan would be utilized properly and probably become the strongest of the story to the end. So many ways to go, truly a wonderful what If with true emotion behind the narration. 🙌🏾

It's honestly the better ending out of the two because it just feels alot more deep and emotional. The bad ending is good and it does nail frieza's character but at the end, it's kinda just feels a small bit boring, especially the ending of that ending but the good ending just feels somber yet hopeful. Vegeta finds peace within himself in his final moments and the idea of the last of the Saiyans becoming the first Super Saiyan just is the icing on the cake.

Vegeta is the last of the pure Saiyans and the first Super Saiyan in hundreds of years. Vegeta dies with namek, still an evil soul but he took down Frieza. It may be just vengeance but he dies a warrior, he dies with no fear in his heart because he knew what was coming, and he accepted it like a god damn champion. The last Saiyan dies as the first Super Saiyan. The last of an ruthless and evil race dies doing more or less a good thing. It's honestly poetic and it kinda brings a tear to my eye.
The bad ending is kinda cool but it’s underwhelming and bland compared to the good ending, you can just sum it up by saying Frieza wins and conquers the universe or something like that, kinda boring tbh and it doesn’t fit Dragon ball, the good ending has a lot more depth to it
I find it kinda weird he didn't bring up cell because even though Frieza destroyed earth cell still could've survived depending on the how long it took Frieza to destroy Earth
These what-ifs make me want to write my own. -What if Piccolo kept his mouth shut (to Raditz) about the Dragonballs? -What if Krillin killed Vegeta on Earth? -What if Gohan didn't save Dende in time? -What if Piccolo destroyed Android 17?
This was the first video I watched of yours about a year ago when I discovered your channel. I immediately subscribed, being thoroughly impressed with the story. You did a really good job making a believable plot, and I appreciate all of the work that went into it. It would be cool if you produced a special manga telling this fan-made story. If you aren't an artist, I'm sure an artist from the Dragon Ball community would be happy to illustrate this for you. I find it fitting that the Dragon Ball story comes to an end with the Frieza Arc, seeing as how Toriyama originally intended this story to be the last one in the Dragon Ball Manga. Of course, the dark ending is an interesting twist. You could call it like, Dragonball Z, Tragic Heroes. Or something, I dunno.... By the way, my favorite part is when Goku says that he should have read the instructions first after blowing up the space pod, LOL. I thought that was hilarious. 🤣

That music Super Saiyan Vegeta from Bruce Faulconer while Vegeta powers up start overpowering Frieza. Unleashing a pummeling 30 years in the making. This was an ending worthy of a Saiyan Prince turned evil pirate could hope for. I still hope that someday Vegeta will have the opportunity to kill Frieza even if he helped during the tournament of power.

I’ve watched a lot of the what ifs from Saiyan Scholar and the others. All which are very good, Mr Scholar and giving a dark/negative ending to this scenario was absolutely perfect. I hope we can see more of the negative outcomes in future What Ifs, keep it up Saiyan Scholar💪💪💪

3:37 you know what i used to think that hairloss and lack of height are sure signe of malnutrition. Freiza probably used to keep saiyans underfed and send them on purging missions on planet with weak inhabitants so they can't grow stronger.
