Well posing is a huge part of the Battle. Also, he didn't have the same conditioning. Those 2 details make a huge difference. These guys are still the best in the world but there can only be one.
BAAM 25th yeah I actually prefer Paul’s physic to the other guys he was taller and still managed to have huge arms. Small waste and is more aesthetic

@@KACOACH Unfortunally it is considered a show, as so they most shine by them acts more than the looks, but we cant deny that the look at least put you amongst the best even without trying.
I would like that there was a bodybuilding contest without the show part that would attribute categorized awards annually. For example "best looking calves", "biggest calves without synthol aka pure/lean muscle", etc.

His physique was nuts but he lacked in his back development he would smoke everyone from the front but when he turned around it weren’t downhill from there unfortunately

I think if he could have been a little more cut, he could have won.. His upper body wasn't as defined as the others.
He’s not very conditioned. Look at him next to Dorian Yates.
His poor posing and back were major setbacks I would have loved for him to have won at least one Olympia title nonetheless

You get to appreciate Ronnie and his size when he stood next to Paul.
That was my 1st thought. Mr. Dillet dwarfs everyone and Mr. Coleman was as massive looking with deeper cuts.

Not really, they just had way better lighting during this time which actually showed their physiques. The stage lighting nowadays is a joke and is worse than what you get in your average gym.
If you put Phil Heath,Kai Greene, Big Ramy in this lighting they definitely would not look like jokes.

I always felt that Paul never got the placings he should have,
He got the placings he deserved. He had very weak posing and he had an even weaker back. He would look pretty good until he turned around.

Back’s the usual excuse, but actually he had less weaknesses, and had an excellent v; it was only back detail missing actually. The Olympia and Weider were always highly commercial and ensured that the intended people would win

Paul Dillett is in my opinion one of the most underrated boddey builders. Not onley was he massive but he was also one of the taller boddey builders wich makes it that much more impressive that he was ables to have such muscle development that he could make every other boddey builder look small when he stood next to them.

Let’s be honest, we never see anything like this quality on stage anymore. A whole stage full of legendary bodybuilders. It really was the golden era. Everyone of these guys are freaks in their own right, all bringing something different to the table.

I think Paul Dillett also had great symmetry for a tall guy, great legs, and small waist. Honestly, I think he looked more impressive than Ronnie and Dorian, and his mid-section was always tight.

Paul Dillette was the greatest bodybuilder of all times. 💜 It goes to show you in life the best doesn't always get there due. It could be because of jealousy, politics, prejudices, etc. There was no greater poser, no greater mass, height, definition, attitude; he had it all.

Joseph C. Lewis it’s been well documented he was lazy in the gym. All the Pros have said on many occasions Paul was always lazy in the gym and basically done fluff and pump and was huge but I digress.
