Who could ever forget Paul Dillet he was just outstanding 💪
You have to respect the man regardless of a lack of accolade. He was absolutely enormous.
And pump full of drugs that kill soooo many young men. Just shut up and wake up.
Paul and Marcus, the freakiest of them all.
Paul is from another planet....that man was a beast
Rumor has it that aliens wanted to invade the planet in the 90’s but when they had that Paul Dillard was in the gym, they postponed their plans
It was always proclaimed, that Dorian was the first mass monster, sooo, untrue, sooo untrue, here is the true mass monster.
is it me , or 90' s was best era for bodybuilding ?
Lol, use to have my Flex Magazine delivered to the house.
Bodybuilding has gone to shit since
The US peaked in the 90s
Just you. Lee Haney and those prior, in the Golden Age, was the best era, not the start of the bubble gut era, unless you like mass regardless of aesthetics. “Aesthetics”. Look it up.
@@mikemccormick8115 its not "just him" plenty of people agree and they are allowed their opinions the same way you are allowed your opinion of the 80s and before. Just because you feel that way does NOT make it fact. You're merely stating your own personal opinion just as he did.
He should of at least been crowned Mr. Olympia once. Politics almost always plays a role. Some say it was his back or posing. He looked solid to me.
He had the worst back in the history of bodybuilding and did not know how to pose. I met him during the 90s. He was the biggest dude but his back was shit.
What year do you think he should of won Mr.olympia keith?
When? What year?
@@sparkydpitbullYeah exactly
ROIDS
definition of Colossal 😮
100% 🔥💪
He has the greatest physique to have ever existed on the planet earth.
And up to today... He doesn't need a wheelchair nor crutches !!!!!!!!
I saw him guest pose of a national qualifier in Jacksonville Florida in the early to mid-90s. He was in pretty good shape and his structure was insane. He stuck his foot up on my chair and flexed his calf. His freaking calves were just as big as his arms. If he only would have been a good poser he could have won a lot more shows. He was a horrible poser and he often got winded on stage
Dams you are lucky to see him in his prime
@@HulktubeMotivation I have been to 13 Olympia's. Starting with the Dorian Yates era I have seen all of the great ones on stage up until now. I was at a show where Dorian Yates and Shawn Ray and flex wheeler and Chris cormier and Paul delay and Mike matarazzo and on and on and on. All of the pro shows back then but specially the Olympia we're just packed with ridiculous amount of talent in great shape when I saw pulp to let his arms were 25 in and his calves were 25. I said when I saw Paul Dillet
I have been victorious in 27 bodybuilding shows class or better. I have also coached and trained hundreds of high-level competitive bodybuilders. The point of all of that is that I believe if I could have trained Paul dalet taught him how to pose correctly and everything else that he could have won the Olympia several time. He was a horrible unfortunately it cost him placements all the time because everybody knew how bad he posed. When you're 6 two or three and a good-looking guy with a beautiful aesthetically pleasing monster Bonnie you should go up there and post slow and hold the poses and show everybody I got this but you don't but he didn't do that impose really fast and herky-jerky.
Dillet never won an Olympia because his presentation on stage was simply non existent.
It's really simple.
No structured posing routine & no pose holds.
Dillet relied on 1 second poses with NO real transitions from one pose to the next resulting
in him looking just plain awkward.
The best posers of all time in order of actual skill are as follows:
1.Ed Corney,
2.Kai Green
3.Melvin Anthony
4.Frank Zane
5.Arnold Swarchznegger
Bodybuilding is not just about muscle size.
Its an artform in its own right.
The best Bodybuilders are stage artists.
Mass monsters are not stage artists -
they are just there for the shock factor.
Sheer mass, sheer density, sheer size,
sheer conditioning and sheer muscle separation will always allow them to win pro shows.
That's what the judging criteria is all about.
Mass monsters are as follows:
Coleman, Dillet, Kovacs, Yates, Ferrigno,
Ruhl, Schleirkamp etc
You get the picture folks.
Incidentally, Dillet looks skinny now.
He had the best genetic response to the
cocktail of Roids he was using.
Combined with super hard training and an
excellent diet completed with plenty of good rest between workouts ensured he was a beast.
But he was NOT a stage artist.
Professional Open Bodybuilding would be more popular if it was more artistic.
The classic division is cool, but the open division needs more artistic athletes on stage.

He is on another level 😮
he will be in the books as one of the best and biggest. he stepped away from the game, he owes nothing to anyone.
Wow rhe exaggeration lol. Dillet is one of my top 4 bodybuilders of all time but he wasn’t 6’3 and weighed over 325. He was 6’1 and competed at 275lbs
In a interview paul did stated that he is 6ft 3 sir that's facts !
Would tend to agree with 6’1” but don’t know
He's more than 6ft1 for sure. Just look at him next to Ronnie. Ronnie is almost 6ft
For me Dillet ia the best bodybuilder in history of this sport, in my humble opinion.
There were two problems with Dillet, no lower lats and his posing. I heard that he had asthma and that contributed to him not being able to hold poses. He was a monster even by todays standards!
Be quiet you don’t know anything
His posing just sucked. Someone told Ronnie Coleman that Paul Dillett used to hit his poses, while laying on the floor. Ronnie said, "it looked like it".
It wasn't asthma simply because asthma doesn't stop your lats from developing, doesn't make your body shake when you flex your muscles and also doesn't make you pose asymmetrically, but there is a health problem who might pertinently describe Paul's symptoms.
Oh, and asthma also doesn't stop you from doing squats.
So before you speak, educate yourself, at least a bit, it will do you good.
He have asthma and scoliosis and was a very anxious person.
ROIDERS lift NEEDLES for THEIR "size" & "strength"!
NATURALS lift WEIGHTS for THEIR size & strength!
ROIDERS are FAKES!
Stay natural buddy!
I still find it crazy how this man never won the Olympia
Yeah that's wild
bcs his posing was bad and shaking
His back was terrible too
due to biased judgement as with mice menstor during 1990 era when arnold declared as mr olampya regardless he had not perfect as the mice menstor
Is it possible that a hero like Paul does not get Mr. Olympia not once?
Refree not ready for this kind monster
Two words: Dorian Yates.
@@ThouSwell-zx3fdI don’t think it’s more so Yates Paul has severe asthma which hindered him with holding a pose long enough and his back wasn’t the best if it wasn’t for the asthma and a slight Better back he beats Dorian hands down
This video is like a shot of adrenaline straight to the heart, awakening the inner beast within us! 💪 ❤
Huzzah!!
His asthma issue got the better of him on stage, he'd gas out so quickly leading to him cramping up and/or shaking during poses. Honestly if had no issues with posing and made his physique flow, he'd have at least one olympia title.
Yeah I saw a video he gas out after posing he almost die
A guy that big, has to take a huge toll on his body. Surprised he didn't have any major health issues that I'm aware of.
And yet Dillet was able to go through hard and heavy workouts at the gym right up until contest day so i don't buy the excuse that he had some kind of physical problem that prevented him from posing. If you can lift heavy weights then you certainly have the energy to pose; I think Dillet was just lackadaisical at learning the art of posing.

@@ryutenmen Thank you Dr, i guess the medical fact that people with asthma that have larger amounts of muscle mass have limitations in daily activities, due to muscle dysfunction, is irrelevant.
Did you also bypass the fact that during posing these bodybuilders are almost severley depleted of fluid, electrolytes, sugar and nutrients that make it somewhat harder to pose, flex and contract their muscles.
Those freaky veins in his chest were scary! This was my favorite era of bodybuilding by far. So many great contenders that always showed up ripped.
He's what Mr Olympia wish it could be! He doesn't need your affirmation!!! He is!!!! Affirmation!!!!!
Been using him lately as motivation 💀💪
Lets gooo 🔥💪
I'm from toronto Canada pul never get the chance and respect he was bigger and better than all the rest of the bodybuilders
Very good genetics and solid Mr O in my opinion.
Its good younger generations re-discover Dillett
😂😂mate if its not natural pls dont use genetics... meaning steriods makes anything big... give a worm PED and see it turn into a python would then big it up as a snake because i wouldn't..... same like chick with fake tits its mot your true being so asit says FAKE... but its a fake world so mo surprises 😂😂😂
Solid Mr. O-my ass. He was never as good as Flex, Kevin Shawn Ray…not even speaking of Dorian
Finally, a deserving video to the "monster of body building" the mighty Paul Dillet.
Paul dillett fans like here 🔥🔥💪
Love the support Gigi 🔥💪
One of the best BB video i ever seen. Congrats and keep going. Dillet was one of the most underrated BB ever. Could you tell me the name of sountrack u add? Thanks
How come he didn't win everything, I mean ,he was unbelievable, and the calves too
He deserved at least one Mr O title. I would have given him 10. What a freaking munster!
Underrated.
There are few wo could rival Paul! He was always my favorite when he competed. They called him Freakenstein because of his veins, size and overall intimidation!
Paul is a bodybuilding hero! Its sad he has such little recognition 😔😔😔
Paul was huge. then I saw him in a photo a while ago and he was off the roids and stopped exercising. and weighing 175 lbs with a huge gut. He was talking about making a comeback but don't know if he did. Reminds me of Arnold whom I met in LA . He looked like a normal person who never lifted a weight. He said he was off season. I am not criticizing him he has always been a great bodybuilder just telling what i saw.
Excellent points.
I saw him many years ago in Las Vegas at the gym. He was colossal ! Impressive beyond belief in person!
He was known for training less than another bodybuilder's, he trained 5x per week for 45-60 minute's due to asthma, diet wise he was known for eating alot of brown rice and oatmeal, because he was lazy in the kitchen.
Insane genetics!!
Remember him training at Winston's gym in Montreal early 80s probably around 200lbs, thought to myself geez he's got great calves. Rest is history.
My favorite bodybuilder 💪🏾
He Deserve more .....🖤🔥
So sick
Great video
This guy could've played colossus from the x-men
First comment 🙂
The beast 🔥💪
🔥🔥🔥Uncrowned🔥🔥🔥
Paul had insane genetics for bodybuilding truly a genetic freak.
Paul is the Real Uncrowned Champion
How was he not the biggest Hollywood star as well. There will never be another Paul Dillet
He was the best version of Paul Dillet, and for that I appreciate, and respect him for his accomplishments.
(we’re done here)
more motivations with this style of music please
Sure stay tuned 🔥💪
outstanding
When it comes to bodybuilding anabolics play a major role!!
Thanks captain o.....
PAUL AGAINST RONNIE COLEMAN WOULD HAVE BEEN A DELIGHT TO WATCH, TOO BAD IT NEVER HAPPENED
You are kidding right? Ronnie’s first Olympia was 1992 and they have been on the same stage with Paul Dilet at least 5 times.
Paul was 7th in 99 when Ronnie won his second title
@@tonyg3091 PAUL WAS A BEAST THOUGH
When genetics born in human form that's Paul dillete
Mr. Paul Dillett...size and symmetry never looked more balanced than on his frame. His genetics controlled...angular distribution of his mass! His...crucifix pose...could be substituted for the DaVinci model of man.
Tuve la oportunidad de verlo en el año 1994 en el mr América y era enorme, verdaderamente enorme, no había nadie como él y eso que no desarrolló completamente del todo su poderío genetico
a real monster he had it all
Increíblemente Impresionante
They say he never really trained hard
The backstage footage..can you link to the original clip? Also the pro Ironman 97 solo posing footage?
Freakeinstein for reasons 💥🔥🥶
He along with Varinder Ghuman my fav best bodybuilders. Rare for a tall bodybuilder
As teenagers we always said 'be like Dillett'
Paul,had it all,for an olympia.
He its the real mr olimpia
Super gifted genetically
Go to work!!!
Dillet was a monster 😮😮
I remember in the late 90's before the internet blew up seeing magazines with this guy on it and it just confused you, you didn't know if it was real or some sort of fakery.
louis lifted a 525lb weight with 1 finger a few inches off the ground. i wanna see a strong man today do that. don’t worry i’ll wait..
In my opinion, he was never an extremely determined individual; had he been highly determined he would’ve erased all his supposed shortcomings and ended up with greater density, better posing, etc. But let’s be clear even the way we see him here, he deserved several Mr. Olympias
And so, the tale endures-a narrative of a bodybuilder whose Herculean efforts were met with an unjust fate. The denial of the Mr. Olympia title to this living monument of muscle stands as a testament to the enigmatic nature of competitive sports, where victory is not always bestowed upon the deserving.
With lats like this guy could jump of building and glide ...
There's no one like him.😮
Could not pose to save his life. That was his downfall.
As a former amateur bodybuilder, I can honestly say that I've never heard of this monster. As one viewer commented, why has this guy never won Mr. O.
They should give himan award and call it " Mr. Infinity"!!!!
He should have won a few Mr. O’s.
Amazing bodybuilder, a true monster only issues with him is his back, not holding a pose for long so the judges can have a good look at him and posing routine
To win in bodybuilding competitions, you need that charisma.
Charisma?? Like the introvert Yates huh?
Silly comment
Charisma lol. That makes 0 sense.
The Monster of Frankenstein
Hallk ❤❤❤❤
Es increíble que no ganará nunca el Mister Olimpya con ese tamaño
Like today's mass monsters, only without the 42 inch waist...
He should return to bodybuilding ,sir paul
Потрясающие кондиции при такой колоссальной массе
he and flex wheeler are the two pros i felt that got snorbed at the olympia
No back images!! Wonder why!🧐
As big as he was be never trained immensely heavy from what I heard from others in the industry
Made in the image of God!
1:17 to 1:22 🔥🔥🔥🔥man.
...❤
Judges made aesthetic choices...
He should of won at least one Mr. Olympia.
How did he keep his waist so small
At 1:20 he is looking like a cocktail of Ronnie coleman, roelly winklaar and markus ruhl.
I wonder if his muscle cramps were due to diuretics. A lot of bodybuilders compete while very dehydrated. His build was amazing, but the stage paralysis was frightening.
Dillet would dominate now
I agree 💯 of the travesty against Paul... uncrowned Mr.Olympia........
I can't for the life of me understand how in the Hell Paul Dillett didn't win like 10 Mr.Os straight
Two words: Dorian Yates
Actually an uncrowned Mr Olympia is one higher than Mr Olympia
