The key is having enough batteries. I’ve gone all EGO and ditched all my 2 strokes. I have the trimmer, multi tool, chain saw, hedge clipper and blower. With 4 batteries, I do anything I want and never run out of power. There is always a battery ready for me.
Yes, BUT; not if you have either of the two big chainsaws. They require at least a 6ah minimum battery to operate at full speed.
At how many more times the cost though?? I bet atleast 4times the cost
We use this 765 in our left hand and our Echo backpack blower in our right hand for larger jobs. It's a game-changer what those two can move together. A good workout too.
A very informative video. I am researching the EGO.
Nice meeting you watching from Alaska!!
@@JILANAINUSA you too. Your channel is very interesting.
@@AdventureGearTV thank you so much ….life in Alaska is interesting too thank you for subscribing
I will show this to my husband… we have a very big yard
Now u can get the ego1000 commerical cfm for 299 or the ego 880 for 279 or 399 with two 4 amp batteries.
Nice use of color theory in this video, and cool edits!! Nice ride, too.
I have I think 8 batteries 5 chargers mix 2.5 and 5.0 and then a 10.0 for lawn mower which can’t be used in leaf blower. There is a difference in power with the leaf blower when you using the 2.5 and 5.0. Larger batteries heavier so have to keep switching hands. Their backpack looks like a option when they get it blowing like the gas. But the 750 hand held does a decent job. We all know the eventually you will have to use electric as gas will be outlawed. Which I think at least for lawn equipment is a good idea.
I'm interested to know why your 10ah battery 'can't' be used in your blower.
I have the 650cfm model, and my 12ah battery runs it just fine.
Sigh…….Of course it’s going to run out in 16 minutes using it on turbo the whole time. I’ve got an acre. It’s got plenty of juice. You blow it in a pile. Use a tarp to haul it off. Then continue. I get close to an hour of run time.
Great stuff
Wow❤
I always loved to watch your videos, please when next we you drop another one??
EGO Leaf blower with 5.0 battery and charger, $299. Extra 5.0 battery so you can keep working when the leaves fall, $299. If you need a third battery, $299. Set reminders to rotate all batteries through the charger after each time to have them ready for tomorrow. Set a re-occuring calendar date to remember to store them inside during the winter.
The old inkjet printer trick. Give away the printer. Make a killing on the ink. LOL!
Still, as far as cordless blowers go, it is probably overall the best.
Get a couple kits, and over the years, you accumulate the batteries.
And a plethora of equipment that uses them throughout the year. I use my leaf blower in the spring and in the fall, and in the winter. I just used it to clean out my eavestroughs, and it worked a treat! I leave it sit in my kitchen in the winter so I can blow off my porch and steps on my way to my car and then blow off my car when it snows. I blow off the steps and walks of my tenants, as well as long as the snow isn't too heavy. I got the powerhead with the pole saw and hedge trimmer attachments years ago, and I recently purchased the power snow shovel attachment... it's freaking AMAZING. I had purchased the first two stage snow blower two years ago, but sometimes I didn't even need to get that out even when my lower back isn't feeling like shoveling, cause it's just as easy to go up-and-down the sidewalk 4 times instead of twice without having to get it out. This electric snow shuffle is a little more maneuverable, and goes right up the little walks more easily. Usually use the snow blower on the driveway if it's heavy stuff though. That beast goes through battery's though but MAN does it do a great job all while far quieter than the neighbors gas snowblower too... mine is more powerful/ throws further and better.
Oh, my dad has the larger of the two original chainsaws, and I got him his own powerhead kit with weed whacker attachment. all my previous attachments are interchangeable/ reverse compatible on both of our powerheads. His is future proofed with the additional contacts that can power the tool where mine is just physical drive like a weed whacker. They have some interesting things coming out, including that auto feed string trimmer head that ppl seem to love. I got dad the more basic version because I was trying to keep it lighter and he really likes it.
I run mine on turbo all the time I get well over 30 mins with the 5 amp
Nice. Good to hear your experience with it.
Will a 7.5 Amp-hr battery for my Ego mower fit the 765 CFM Ego Leaf Blower?

Awesome! Thanks for visiting.
Having the cone nozzle on therre reduces the total capacity (mph x volume) of the blower while increasing the ability of the blower to dig (200 mph). If you don't need the nozzle, theoretically you will get more done on a battery charge with the nozzle off.
You almost need to have a strap because they weigh almost 1/2 again as much as the most powerful hand-helds with a full tank of gas. The Stihl 86c, which uses the same engine and blower as the backpack version of it weighs 9.9/~10 lbs. vs. almost 13.8 lbs/~14 lbs. I let a teach convince me to let one of my kids to grow up left-handed. BIG mistake.
I don't get it 🤔 where is the part where you show 'what they don't tell you'? I must've missed that part.
If you are using a garden rake to do leaves, then I can understand why you are getting worn out.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hello, we're ONOWTE, a manufacturer of Camera Systems. Now, we are looking for partners to test and review our camera system and of course it's paid. Are you interested in getting a sample to review and working with us? I had emailed you some further details and looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
I see a Pumpkin jt ❤❤
16 min?! Meh
I'm sticking with gas. Same with my snowblower and lawn mower. gas power.
Heavier, messier, less reliable, less powerful. I am transitioning every couple years to more Ego Equipment as things die. It started out with my dad and I chatting because he needed a new lightweight chainsaw and o was shopping electing pole saws and hedge trimmers. He and my uncle have struggled for years with McCulloch, Poulan, Husqvarna and Jonsored, small engines. My uncle, most recently, a few years ago, got an Echo and dad got a barely used Sthil... every couple of years, you have to tinker with the darn small engines and they have to be cleaned out and mixing oil, and then all those damn fumes when the air is still. For the big saw, i'm sure you really can't beat gasoline at this point, but for everything else like hedge trimmers, pole saws, weed whackers, leaf blowers, snow blowers, lawn mowers, it's really no comparison for simplicity sake if not outright more power power pound as in the case of leaf blowers and power brooms.
@NoZenith you'd have to need a pretty big chainsaw not to be able to use a battery operated one. My CSX5000 with a 24" bar is a beast!
That blower is not for your yard.
Ive blown 3 of these fuckers in 10 months. I wonder if its the 7.5ah battery they cant handle because for spring and summer i mainly ran thisnwith a 5ah battery.b
Ouch! That’s a lot of fails over a short period of time
Won't run steady in the winter it is a piece of garbage
The Stihl BGA 250 is a much superior tool compared to this Ego...26 Newtons and much quieter. Plus, it's made in Austria, not by a bunch of Chinese preschoolers.
