I saw the description about the aerator and got excited...but I now realize what you call an aerator, we call a dethatcher. An aerator over here is what takes dirt plugs out of the ground for seeding. The dethatcher is nice too, though.
An aerator requires a lot of power and weight to penetrate the soil, especially compacted clay soil. That's going to be quite the challenge for electric power.
@naamangeist7843 A small aerator weighs somewhere in the vicinity of 250-300 pounds. Ego has a 2-stage snowblower that weighs around 175, and they have zero turn mowers that weigh 430 pounds. Anything can be done if you want to.
@@kokocostanza2036 yes, I'm aware that they have heavier equipment, I own both the snow blower and the Z6 but neither is ramming several tines deep into compacted soil. I guess we will have to wait and see.
Going to the Ego eco system was the best move I done. We have the best lawns in the street now. People will walk by and I always get comments on how nice it looks :) The speaker and vacuum is next in the line up and maybe the fan. Being in Australia while in my garage working on my cars in 35 degrees the fan will be so nice to have with some cool sounds in the background!
Happy to see the leaf vac. I have been using my Worx wired one this week and its a pain to trail the cord. Have been cursing ego for not making one as all my other stuff is ego and looks like I can finally ditch the cord. I hope the leaf mulch blade is a decent metal one as they can take a hammering when sticks and the odd small rock gets sucked up.
Just to clarify I can see the little crown shaped blade in the centre is metal but is the fan/impeller blade bit behind all metal too. Please release the full review of this ASAP as I need this in my life!
Great stuff lads, ego really knocks it out of the park when it comes to tools to make life easier and more enjoyable, fair play to them and i will continue to buy ego all the way!
Hi James + Josh, Nice bunch of EGO battery tools, spoilt for choice, I like the vac and the mini chain saw. Good honest review and a great video, catch you boon Take care
OMG yes the suck vac, and you can reverse it! Nice. Can't wait to see a full review on that sucker. The wife is going to love the new misting fan. Perfect size. Yikes! The pump sprayer, yes please. EGO just simply rocks
Finally, EGO listened and made a top handle saw with an onboard battery. I imagine they will sell a lot more than the previous model.... That wouldn't be hard considering they probably only sold 10 worldwide 😂
The chainsaw sounded like it was struggling a bit 🤔 but the dethatcher looked interesting though i need to get a semi pro unit with changable cartridges, its just a shame sthil ones feel a bit flimsy woth the plastic compared to the ego. Mower was by far the stand out for me, may end up getting one as the mulch option blended with the collection is great for by work
Ego nock it out of the park again you could have done with that auger when you were doing your fencing videos 😅I'd bet if that ego bike becomes available on this side of the pound max would have it on his Christmas 🎄 🎁 list in a heartbeat 🎁or it would probably be on yours, to 😂 it would be one hell of a video with you max and the team bealthing around the farm on it let hope they send you one 😂😅
I just came inside the house after 3 1/2 hrs of vacuuming leaves with my 100 ft cord dragging. The leaves are on the ground, when is EGO releasing the new Leaf Blower /Vac in the states?? I'm desperate ....lol !!
Those are two very good questions. As the UK representative for FlowZone (which do have Viton seals) and an Ego fan myself, I’m doubly interested in this. Maybe James and Josh would like to a head-to-head, battle of the backpacks?
I think because EGO PBE ‘Powered by EGO’ where their unit is fitted to other manufacturers machines like on Sabo mowers and on Camon machines I doubt they will push for their own. But we will see 👍🏼
In the old days a petrol auger was terrifying,As a 20 year old I hit flint and nearly lost a knee cap . I’m 50 years now and use a graft and spoons but that auger looks brilliant
I believe you are talking from a US experience. Certainly not the case in the UK, they have a fantastic dealer network here which is backed up by one of the best distributors.

The dethatcher is nice too, though.
Yeah I should have described it as a dethatcher really. My bad.

Nice mate, where in Australia are you?
@@MachineryNation I live on the Gold coast. Originally from NZ been here all up in between Perth WA and Queensland 12 years 😁

That’s ideal. Yes it’s a steel mulch blade 👍🏼
Just to clarify I can see the little crown shaped blade in the centre is metal but is the fan/impeller blade bit behind all metal too.

@@jerzee3600 The fan is plastic the blade is metal. This is the same design as all handheld leaf suckervacs 👍🏼
Could have used this over the weekend instead of dragging an extension cord around! Can't wait!
Nice. finally the garden vac. thats on the wishlist and that top handle looks really good.
The vac is awesome!
That auger looks the business, 👍 I’m up for a field rave 😀 nice video gents. Bring on 2025
The auger is 👌🏽 rave incoming 😂

Thank you Shaun 👍🏼
Great video guys, thanks for showing us all the upcoming line up, much appreciated.
Regards Ben
Thank you Ben 👍🏼
good to see there expanding the range and doing other stuff to make life easier
Completely agree 👍🏼

Yep 👍🏼💪🏽
That anti kickback feature is going to be a game changer!
100% awesome feature!
There is some cracking tools in that line up!
One of them is even ground breaking 😂
@ no pun intended 😂
A very good Wednesday morning to you all from Wellington Somerset
Good morning Mr D 💪🏽
Finally, EGO listened and made a top handle saw with an onboard battery. I imagine they will sell a lot more than the previous model....
That wouldn't be hard considering they probably only sold 10 worldwide 😂
That new chainsaw is certainly a great addition to the ever expanding range of tools!
Can't wait for the big handheld and the vacuum blower
Looking forward to both the leaf vac and the shop vac.
Alright mate .. some good kit... Things are moving forward...
Thanks Mick! I hope you and the family are well!
@MachineryNation all good mate .. and the same to you
Putting the controls on the front of a fan, that's a good idea 😁
What i want ego to make is a push edger and a mini ride on mower with a 30 inch deck width
30 inch rider would be awesome!
Great products but when are they bringing out a roller mower version, that would be the icing on the cake
The chainsaw sounded like it was struggling a bit 🤔 but the dethatcher looked interesting though i need to get a semi pro unit with changable cartridges, its just a shame sthil ones feel a bit flimsy woth the plastic compared to the ego.

I want that title of the world most powerful hand held blower 😅 also the commercial backpack blower 1100 cfm !!! I can’t wait to upgrade my 800cfm one
The ego sucker vac looks and sound way better than the sthl one you had on previous video
It does seem to have a lot of power 👍🏼
I want all of it!!! ❤
It’s all very awesome!
Aerator looks good, bet it’s light too as it seemed to be running without a battery.
Well spotted 😂 clip taken after the first shot haha.
@ 😆 Still looks a decent little machine.
The vacuum cleaner is interesting
really want them to make a mower with a full large metal roller, i yearn for Ego Stripes
The ego vacuum look very similar to festool vacuum. Colour wise and design
They do share a similar shade of green.
Nice vid as always. I hope the top handle saw has 40cc .
I would say it’s similar power to the Stihl MS151T in power.

That would be awesome, I really hope it comes to the UK.
Wow awesome new range. Would love to see a self propelled wheel barrow next!
That would be awesome!
Hello , it exist already with Eurosystem. Ego works with 5 different brands already.
looks awesome, i wish they had a bigger badder leaf vac. this one looks like the cheapo ones. id love to replace my stihl blower/vac
I just came inside the house after 3 1/2 hrs of vacuuming leaves with my 100 ft cord dragging. The leaves are on the ground, when is EGO releasing the new Leaf Blower /Vac in the states?? I'm desperate ....lol !!
Digging holes is the best.
According to your video @ 14:20, "the states haven't got these". What does that mean, Ego isn't releasing these in the US?
Some machines we get first and some of them you get first. I’m not sure if you will get them all as we don’t either.
@@MachineryNation yeah, that makes sense because we already had the fan, backpack blower, auger and wet/dry vacuum in the stores all summer.
When you say 2.4kg, I'm guessing that's without the battery. It would be nice to know the actual operating weight with battery, oil, bar&chain.
Yeah that’s without the battery. TBH we didn’t have the battery weight to hand when we filmed. The battery is 1.2kg so 3.6kg with the battery.
Can you please do a review on the commercial pole saw?
We done this one a couple years ago. ua-cam.com/video/m4LyVAnBW0E/v-deo.htmlsi=sNOUVEMyCYjI5tMg
Hii, greets from the small Belgium, what are the specifics of the large back blower? Lbxp8000?
Is the backpack sprayer inclusive of viton seals? Any prices available please?
Those are two very good questions. As the UK representative for FlowZone (which do have Viton seals) and an Ego fan myself, I’m doubly interested in this. Maybe James and Josh would like to a head-to-head, battle of the backpacks?
Hi, what are the specs for the new pro x multi head power unit? Also will the current attachments fit the new power head?
Yes all older attachments will fit the power head 👍🏼
Specs on the PHX1600 are as follows:
Max output 1600w
3 speed - 6000 / 6500 / 7000 rpm
carbon fibre shaft
variable speed trigger
IPX5 weather resistance
2.8kg in weight 👍🏼
milwaukee needs to catch up with ego
They all play kiss chase with each other haha 👍🏼
Ego needs a log splitter
Still wondering if they will make a dedicated roller mower surely there are people who would want one
I think because EGO PBE ‘Powered by EGO’ where their unit is fitted to other manufacturers machines like on Sabo mowers and on Camon machines I doubt they will push for their own. But we will see 👍🏼
Isn't that aerator a scarifier?
A d thatcher or lawn rake ,a scarifier has larger blades and an aireator pulls out plugs of soil 👍
Yeah it’s a dethatcher, I used the wrong terminology here. My fault. A scarifier has solid or swing tip metal blades.
@ doesn’t matter , I mistakenly call my wife the boss . And I mistakenly forget she is 😢
What are the specs of the leaf vacuum?
What happened to the milwaukee vs. Ego chainsaw video?
We took it down as we made a mistake. Redoing the video very soon 👍🏼
@@MachineryNation Nice can wait to watch it. Will the mistake me talked about in the video? could be interesting so buyers don't make it too
Can someone please get me the PU2700 power unit? I have a splitter that has a dying engine that I want to repower test.
We all have plans for the power unit. Not sure it will come as a stand alone unit.
In the old days a petrol auger was terrifying,As a 20 year old I hit flint and nearly lost a knee cap . I’m 50 years now and use a graft and spoons but that auger looks brilliant
100% game changer!
Timetsamps please.
A fan and a boombox are pretty lame. Both can be made with the ego nexus and quality A/C components for much less money.
As with other manufacturers, expanding their range and reach for people who are already on the platform. Not everyone wants to make their own stuff.
Now if Ego could solve the #1 customer wish. Half decent customer service. It's atrocious to say the least.
I believe you are talking from a US experience. Certainly not the case in the UK, they have a fantastic dealer network here which is backed up by one of the best distributors.
@ Why have they gone so wrong in the USA? Its not even an opinion it a stone cold fact. If it could happen here it can happen anywhere.
