Great tutorial! no complaints from me!. You killed it! I was thinking of making a boss music template, but remaking those ACB's by hand involves so much duct tape and drove me to insanity with my Instrumental Titan Themes Mod. I might look into making custom jukebox modding easier in the future but right now this is as simple as it's gonna get. Pray update 4 doesn't break anything XD
Thanks so much! A boss template would be amazing at some point if you were to ever make one. With the way this template is currently, it's hard to imagine it being any simpler haha. Thanks for your all your contributions to the modding scene!
Right now my biggest issue is handling the transition data. No matter what you do you need to input said data into the ACB and right now I know the only way to do it using official tools@@piranhamayhem
Honestly a great tutorial, but I'm a bit confused one a couple points, so I figured I'd mention them here. 1. Maybe its just me, but the way you described setting the loop points just makes no sense to me. In my case, I'm trying to just make the entire track loop from start to finish, but the numbers I find in Audactiy just make the .hca track 0 seconds long for some reason. 2. As far as the part at the end goes, where you had to copy and paste that code into the .hmm file, is it possible to just put the code that removes the extra slots here for us to copy and paste? I feel like these 2 things would make it a lot easier, but either way, thanks for the video it is still very helpful regardless!
I dont know why, but when trying to put loop start 0 to loop end (full duration of that music im trying to put) it shortens and cuts to 20s when the music is 3 mins 20secs I'm I doing something wrong?
So I downloaded this jukebox enhanced + fixes mods and I was trying to add my own tracks but the abc files doesn't work every time I try to open it in foobar 2000 I can't hear them and it give an error saying that the format is unsupported any advice?
When I open the VGMStream Foobar Component link I have 4 files. I have downloaded all of them, extracted them into a single file, but, when I try to install the componet in foobar I cannot click anything, as if the file is not there. How does this "component" even look like?
Not working for me followed the tutorial step by step and it wont play the songs the song names are there ingame and i hear them in the bgm custom file but it wont play in game pls help
Difficult for me to know exactly what's wrong without seeing what you're working with but I would first make sure that the bgm_custom.acb and the awb file are in the raw->sound->custom_sound location.
@@piranhamayhem Yeah I found it by rewatching your tutorial again, everything worked I just have a small problem, the song doesn't restart it just goes silent when the music is done, but it's probably due to me not looping the song so I can still probably fix it I guess Anyways, you made a really good tutorial, thank you for that! Sorry I'm just now seeing this but to answer your question, SonicAudioTools is a small collection of different tools. For my audio modding tutorials they only utilize "AcbEditor.exe". For an acb file you can simply drag drop the file on to the "AcbEditor.exe" and it will unpack it to a new folder named the same as the acb file that you unpacked. Then you can make whatever changes you want and repack the folder by drag dropping the folder onto the "AcbEditor.exe". Hope that helps clear things up. If you watch some of my other tutorials on sound modding you can see how I use this.
Download the component file from the link in the description and double click it. That will open foobar with a window asking you if you want to install the component.@@shitanotosaurus
theres simply not an exe file for acb editing tool, when i download it from github, it says SonicAudioTool-master. and then when i open it theres no exe file for literally anything listed in the description of the software. theres only 2 files named source and dependencies and by openning them i still cant find any .exe file or anything also in the source file there are files which suggest that i have all the other audio tools but the format for them is CS. and also the bgm_custom file format is auto desk color book for some reason
Hopefully you figured it out by now but if not, you need to go to the releases page on github and download the latest release. The exe will be inside that release folder when you download it. What you were talking about was the master source code which would need to be compiled. Hope that helps!

Could you make a video on how to edit boss stats? I've been wanting to increase Final Horizons The End/Beast Supremes' health for awhile now.
I'll see what I can do!

Can you loop jukebox
Yep! The game settings has an option for that. You will need to properly setup your song to loop though like I show in the video

at 8:15, how do you come up with this number? I don't really get it
@@skyver9967 In this example I was simply converting the 4 min 15secs track length to seconds which ends up being 255 seconds

This Doesn't Work For Me I Have No Clue Why
Sorry you're having trouble. If you can provide some detail on what you're trying to do then maybe I can help.
I keep getting an error when I open the AWB file where it says "Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported file format)". You know how to fix it?
@Feartheredchicken Yes easy fix. Just make sure you install the vgm component for foobar. Check the download link in the description.
@@piranhamayhem Ok I figured it out, Thank you so much for posting this tutorial!
