Honestly Blaze’s relation to 06 has to be the biggest plothole in the franchise imo. And the fact she remembers the events of 06 just makes it even messier
00:00 - 1-2: Flowing
00:43 - 2-4: Hype Street
01:36 - 4-3: Rumble Rave
03:00 - 1-5: Dropaholic
04:12 - 4-2: Ephemeral
05:09 - 1-6: Go Back 2 Your Roots
Rumble Rave sounds very similar to Babylon Garden from Sonic Riders, hasn't anyone notice this?
Can't wait for this game to come out to listen to all these awesome songs :D
Absolutely fire
Still can’t get over how much I love the transition from 4-3 to 1-5 at 2:45
This is psychedelic in the best way possible
Man those initial play testers from the leaks were right. This indeed GOES HARD
3:00 I need more of this sound track. It's FRICKING FIRE!!!🤩👍💯
Sounds like something you’d hear in Tekken lol
best chemical plant ever
It are hardstyle sounds
it sounds like a Techcore song and I love it
Digital deluxe my friends
AH! This sounds fantastic. I'm getting deep nostalgia from Sonic R. I'm super looking forward to the rest of the music in this game.
I remember playing Sky Sanctuary and some other cyberspace stages at gamescom and I couldn’t wait to finally hear the music again!
Ur so lucky to go to gamescom i really wanted to try frontiers
Could you tell me wich ones are from each stage?
@@miadatenshi9903 from the recordings i saw, first one is sky sanctuary, second is probably green hill, third is chemical plant, i dont know the rest
@@YplanAnimator Green Hill is different. Strangely wasn't in this video.
This is fire!! Is no one going to talk about the bongo samples in the second song coming straight from Savannah Citadel? (1:06) Ohtani is bringing out the best of his samples! Also besides sky sanctuary, Chemical plant and the one after it are my absolute favorites, I can't wait to remix them once they fully release!
i’m glad somebody else noticed that savannah citadel drum fill that’s the only thing i could think of when that drop popped up 😭
I dont know about you, but I heard the "Cha Cha Cha" from Ska Cha Cha from Sonic Rush
0:48 omg I love this one it sounds so much like something I’d hear from the fanmade ost of Sonic Rush 3
It actually reminds me a lot of Planet Wisp from Sonic Colors, still really good tho!
I am glad to see more vocal songs for level themes like in Sonic Forces. 🎶
Let’s just hope these ones are more memorable
Ohtani is simply awesome. The amount of Pop EDM placed for combine with the Cyberspace speedy-action just screams what Sonic music would be. Don't get me wrong, I love his Rock genre combinations, but Pop is what stand out more with Sonic style. It's what the GENESIS GAMES were, after all.
actually this has more in common with House or DnB
5:18 city escape vibes 🙌🙌
I’m glad after all these years later Sonic Songs are still a Banger! 🔥
At 1:45 really got Sonic Advance 3 vibes makes sense same composer and not a problem nice to hear allusions to the Advance games.
Cyber Track vibes
@@k4lepoching982 🔥
@@k4lepoching982 Algorithm (IDM) vibes
next Ev0lution, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas bands
0:48 sounds straight out of sonic rush. Love it!
This makes me more excited to wonder about what the final boss music could be, as the sonic series has had a lot of good ones. Here’s hoping it’ll also be another banger
Hoping the phase 2 orchestral main theme trope is finally brought back again.
since there is a Dark Sonic funko in the making, it could potentially be that form Sonic needs to be at the end
Sonic games never miss when it comes to music
We need more Sonic the Hedgehog Drum & Bass
True
Sonic The Hardbass Hog
PLEASE!
Siii🙌✨️🙌
Can’t have a sonic game without dnb
After Ohtani's _DJ Style Party_ album, I'll give anything he mixes a listen. So excited!
ive listened to this like 20 times already, im loving the old school house, jungle, and techo inspirations ohtani is killing it
2:58 Gave serious geometry dash vibes
5:25 Sonic boosts to the wrong direction and kills himself repeatedly
Lol
1 year later, the "Revisited" versions kick these versions into 11.
"Arrow of Time" stands out as the most listened to here on YT due to its feature on the trailer
Really hope 5:07 - 5:22 is longer, it’s giving me 80’s Future Funk vibes!
Oh my god that 3rd song with sky sanctuary is a banger. This mix is so good I can't wait to hear the rest of what the cyberspace stages have to offer.
Tomoya ohtani is becoming one of my favourite vgm composer, all of his works are bangers and the wide range of genre he can master is unbelievable
Ohtani is really on fire with his recent EDM direction-- and I'm loving every second of it!
Literally feels like this soundtrack was made for me, I know some don't like the EDM shift but I'm here for it
I agree. Most sonic fans tend to shit on EDM but I like it. Probably the reason I'm fine with the forces ost. My opinion though
I've always been okay with any genre in the games, even if I wasn't into the genre I still liked what they made out of it, and that made me love the genres more
Not to mention Ohtani improving his EDM skills since Forces
@@livewave Man if they dislike EDM, then they'll probably hate No Straight Roads.
lmao I've always been a fan of J-Core, so this makes me happy like a lot, artists like t+pazolite, Camellia, xi, to speak of them as examples
Yakuza has a similar shift from rock to EDM starting with Yakuza 7 so I'm used to it
After giving this a few listens, "Flowing With Time" is really the only one that actually grabs me.
IM WITH TIME
So this has already won best soundtrack at The Game Awards, hasn't it?
sonic music NEVER disappoints >:D
I F**king hope so.
It’s not man…..there is way better music that came out this year compared to this soundtrack. The main theme and end credits song are candidates though from what we know.
It should win but we all know it's probably going to go to some AAA Western game with an atmospheric soundtrack with no Melody
Let's not jump the gun just yet 🤣🤣🤣
Every single part of the mix was an absolute banger, can't wait to play Cyberspace in 3 weeks!
This is pure art, everything is just gorgeous to the art to the music.
From Dubstep to Rock to DnB to that sick bass guitar at the end, I enjoy when Sonic tackles many genres as he goes along the years.
3:21 Sonic Runners? I have missed you, my son.
*EDM, not dubstep
@@LoliconSamalik Sonic music has had dubstep elements before y'know.
This is going even further beyond from just being fire.🔥
Definitely favourite part of this mix is 3:00 to 5:05 I just love the how the first song has as hype but also mysterious vibe then the dubstep which sounds to me like a GO Go go! Song even though the rest of the songs have that as well it really feels like that to me then the voiced part with the actress singing things like “time, goes on” I love how chill it is.
I 100% agree with this statement
3:12 literally sounds like a Geometry Dash song and I LOVE IT!
True
Really
Getting undertale final boss vibes from that part
I thought the same thing
Legit man!
Another Bop from Ohtani! He's such a legend, delivering such consistent bangers.
Tomoya always delivers
Can’t wait till this song and game becomes nostalgic, I remember when I got this game.
So much energy and pompous!!! Very excited to blaze through and master these stages and tackle every objective.
The second song in this medley gives me intense Aquatic Base vibes for some reason.
Which is a good thing, that song is awesome
I love that second song it’s so cool
0:54 I can't get over the Savannah Citadel DRUMS
Yes!
0:10
Flowing with time
I'm flowing (I'm flowing) I'm flowing into the light.
@@Sonistic if that's the lyrics than i made a mistake
@@Sonistic oh ok.
We thanks for correcting me
thanks
I thought it was Going through time and for the last part Dance your here! Just sounded like it
