Got hit with type 2 in March. Got put on metformin but I was experiencing neuropathy. By sheer dumb luck I stumbled across Dr Bergs video on metformin and increasing the B vitamins. Neuropathy went away. Studied his videos on keto and now I'm down 65 pounds, numbers are down across the board, and I have a stupid amount of energy and I'm never hungry. Dr Berg is the truth.
Just diagnosed with type 2 also, and my doctor gave me metformin 2 times a day, and started experiencing neuropathy too, I'm gonna watch the metformin video now, thanka for thw information
My mom reversed insulin resistance in less than 2 months Apple cider vinegar morning Lemon Juice with meals NAC Tumeric and Green Tea She also reversed non fatty liver disease
As someone who has researched this area and PCOS extensively, I can say this is one of the most concise videos in this subject that delivers all essential details one needs to know.
No seriously!! It’s so hard to find out the main source and how to target it. Eating healthy has always been my thing but I think for now I’ll fast fruits majority of fruits
Lots of good information by Dr. Berg ! But , “ monitoring your blood sugar “ or blood pressure is vitally important , if you make any changes to your diet or supplement changes ! I personally do everything in writing on a daily bases not only for me but my wife in case of an emergency . My doctor is always notified through My Chart if I decide to try something different than my prescription medications ! What your doctor doesn’t know about your experimenting may very well put your life at risk between your 6 month checkups !
You know, today I had my cleaning at the dentists and my hygienist said, "Your home care is very good." And I told her I'm on a low carb diet with no sugar (I bought a water pick as well). But really, that was a huge affirmation that the diet and the care is the best not only for losing fat but holistically for better health.
You are saving my life. I've been watching you for just over 3 months, started Keto 2 months ago, unsteady on my feet but stuck to it until I got better at controlling myself, I am now 100% off insulin (36 units long), off 100% Januvia, off 100% Jardiance and am at 1000 Metformin (formerly 2000). All this in a good month of following your advice. THANK YOU.
Love the success comments! Dr Berg's videos helped me too. I'm almost ketovoire but did strict no grains, no sugar, no bad oils etc plus intermittent fasting for about 6 months 4 years ago. Dropped the 33 lbs to 120 and have stayed here ever since. Added D3K2 at that time, and never stopped it. In a few weeks my lungs were so healed or restored, I never used the new inhalers prescribed following a winter virus. I use coconut oil and heavy cream in coffee everyday. Still avoid those sugars and toxins most of the time and like intermittent fasting. I'm 72 and working with 2 paet time jobs. Thank you and bless you and your family.
I was obese, depressed and overworked. I had given up on myself and my life. Since starting ketogenic diet I have lost 35 lbs and have 50 more to go. I reversed pre diabetes. I’m also doing a lower level exercise daily. I also look forward to getting home to do self care. Diet and exercise. Thanks!!!
@@lunaticjite1 I really doubt you can start back up eating the way you did before, especially the carbs. You must learn to stay away from them as much as possible.
Cheers for the video content! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Damykrotia Natural Skin Magic (do a google search)? It is a great one off product for reversing insulin resistance and diabetes minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 at last got great results with it.
I started the Keto Lifestyle in June of 2017 and have fixed all of these problems and lost 60lbs. Thanks Dr. Berg for these videos that help me stick with it!
K31Scout Fantastic. I needed to hear this. I started around the same time as you, had good results, but somehow lost my way. I’m encouraged to hear from you that it is sustainable.
I posted this before but I will mention again. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes with an A1C of 11.1. I am a male in my mid 60’s. After seeing first hand what medications did to special people in my life I refused the medication. My next A1C test was 8.1. I still refused the diabetes medication. My next A1C test result was 6.1. My next blood test is in a few months. By the way, body fat is no issue, and high blood pressure is no issue. Last week I took a half day hike for over 10 miles with no problem and with much satisfaction. Thanks for your research.
You described my life perfectly - no weight loss despite huge exercise commitments, no weight loss despite all the 'diets' I tried, and despite all this, I am eternally hungry. You have converted me - cant thank you enough.
I am so freaking thrilled to realize that I am healing my IR! I have ALL 7 of your ways to tell...Im a 58 year old woman and began your Healthy Keto 4 months ago. I have lost 32ish pounds and am at a weight I havent seen since my late 30s.
Dr Berg has so much class ! He’s always dressed up nicely and the way he speaks and explains is amazing ! Not fast -not slow and smooth pleasure voice - like a real good professor ! The white board makes thinks easier to understand! Sometimes I take a picture of it and review it later on! Thank you dr Berg!!!
Can’t thank you enough Dr Berg…you are the biggest wake up call in my life. Started cutting carbs and shifting towards keto 8 weeks ago when I was 120kg and all the time I am out of breath, cloths does not fit me anymore, tired all the time, knee problem, can’t run more than 60 sec yes one min only with hear rate reach 165 so quickly..now I am 110kg with one meal a day of healthy keto such avocado, egg, sea bass, salamon, wheatgrass powder, Cheddar cheese, sesame. Now I can run slowly but for more than 60 min nonstop. I have decided to keep doing keto as a lifestyle because I feel very healthy, light, energetic, sleeping very well, and my asthma condition has improved significantly.
That's fantastic! Dr. Berg would love to hear about your success with Keto! Please use this link to upload your story: www.drberg.com/add-client-success-story Dr. Berg's Support Team.
Brilliant. I was a night shift worker and developing all the signs of diabetes. I was getting sugar shakes so bad that I had to eat just before exercise, and sometimes have a snack during just to keep my energy levels up. I heard about intermittent fasting and decided to implement one rule: I would not eat between going to bed at 2pm, and getting home at 9am the next day. All my eating was done in a small window, and I never ate at night when I was working. After a short period of suffering, my energy levels quickly elevated, and now I dont need to shovel food down my gullet just to function. Great advice
Dr. Berg I cant thank you enough. December 2022 I started keto using your videos. I've lost 62 lbs., given up diabetes and blood pressure medication and I feel better than I have for years. 73 year old male.

@@DrbergThank you for all your knowledge and support. I am 67 yr old female and having hormone changes but no symptoms. I was diagnosed with Hep C,and hypertension in 2021.I worked in a healthcare job and did not know I had it. Thank goodness I tried to give blood and found out before it got to the point of no return. None of the doctors gave me any information on how to change it. I did take meds and no longer have Hep C , but my liver tested Fibrosis stage F4 at 0.81 . I use to drink wine with my dinner and stopped drinking. I have for a long time have eaten organic meats and veg. But also ate carbs. I would gain 10 pounds every yr. No matter what I would do it would not come off. I found your videos when I hit 203 and this July stared keto and fasting. I am down to 179 pounds since November and it will not budge. I only do 1 meal a day usually. Sometimes a big salad and some nuts&seeds MCT oil at3pm then dinner at 6. I eat no carbs other than dinner so under 20. I have lost 3 inches since starting and I am no longer on my blood pressure meds. I am thankful for finding your videos. I just don’t know if it’s because of all scarring on my liver is why I am stuck.
My BP dropped from a consistent 145/90 to 110/70 within weeks of cutting sugar out of my diet and reducing carbs. My fasting glucose also came down from the mid to high 90’s to the low 80’s. Not a single doctor ever told me that sugar and carbs were responsible for my BP....I found out by accident. That is down right WRONG that people are not being given the right information.
I am in my late 40’s.....the change literally occurred with 3 weeks. I sometimes check my BP now and it is below a 100/70!...my entire adult life it was in the 140/90 range. I was always told to avoid SALT. What a lie....Salt is a mineral and is needed by the body. My weight also dropped from 200 to 188 within a month. I now keep my total carbs/sugar under a 100 grams per day and have been maintaining excellent vitals. Don’t miss the old me at all!👍

Twenty minutes after breakfast and lunch, I go for a brisk walk. I walk for 15-20 minutes and immediately do resistance training. The brisk walk really improves my insulin sensitivity because I can add a little more resistance every week to my training. My weight is stable and I have significant gains in muscles.
Thanks for the tip, I've seen this before, that exercise after a meal helps clear excess sugars, but I'd forgotten it. It sounds right to me, because after I eat my hunger goes sky high. It doesn't make sense.
My endocrine specialist in Europe told me to go for a 30 min walk...or some good resistence exercise, 20 mins after a meal...to help stop the pancreas sending out more insulin, and for the body to use up stored energy. She said that muscle training is necessary...like resistence training...I said mowing my half acre lawn...she said great...do that for 30 mins after every meal! I did and in about 5 months, I went back and she couldn't believe the difference! My bloods were normal!
Very helpful, I try to stick to a low sugar diet. I have been for 3 years now, even had a baby a year ago and bounced back instantaneously. 5’5 inches and I’m 120lbs. Before doing this, I was 180 lbs and working out all the time…nothing worked till this. I also used to fall asleep throughout my day, not anymore!
Been doing keto and IF for about 2 weeks now, my weight is 147lbs which I haven’t seen in about 2 years! I’ve always been 155-160 pounds. I’m hoping to reverse my PCOS and regulate my hormones 💪🏼 thank you Dr ♥️
I’m 28 and have always been overweight but never obese. I have been fasting for 20 hours a day and keeping my net carbs under 100g. Losing weight easily, low hunger, and high energy when fasting. I am trying to take control now while I’m young seeing as all of my grandparents have diabetes. I don’t want that life.
I am type 2....This presentation makes so much sense. Since reducing carbs my BP and blood glucose has dropped and hunger abated...admittedly to not even Keto levels of low carb either, but reducing potato, rice, Pasta, bread and pastry has had a significant beneficial change. I can easily see how going keto and adding fasting days would push this even further. Great vid👍
I've been insulin resistant for 65 of my 67 years; started keto on 9/1/20 after listening to and absorbing the information you provide, and while my a1c was already under control with what I thought was "correct" eating (I was diagnosed with T2 diabetes 20 months ago, but no insulin. I asked my doctor to let me control it with diet), I know that it's even better now that I've finally gained the understanding needed for why it's necessary to give up all sugars. I don't even use stevia or monk fruit because my GI tract cannot tolerate the effects of even erythritol, so I just don't eat anything sweet anymore. I'm also OMAD, finding that I just cannot cram so much food into my body now---I have no idea how to consume 7 cups of vegetables in one day, though I like veggies VERY much---and my sleep quality has improved drastically, thankfully! SO many benefits, and that's only eight days in, with me still eating wrong (I was eating fruit) the first four days.
Thank you for your encouraging comment. It was interesting that you ate fruit the first four days, and still improved. Do you ever eat fruit now? Perhaps it is not such a bad food, especially when compared to all the junk food some people eat.
Hi JB what ate you eating? I have been treated for hypothyroidism since 1989. Now Hosimotos. Pre diabetic, not a bread person. Don't eat cakes, bread, grains, not craving anything sweet. Mostly eat chicken. Steamed veggies, avocado. Cheese. Quinoa pasta,
You can eat small amount of fruit on keto, mostly berries, such as blackberries, elderberries, cranberries (unsweetened), blueberries, raspberries etc. Strawberries contain too much sugar though I believe
I love these types of Videos. Short but very informative. I believe Insulin Resistance is the root cause of most chronic health conditions in the U.S. and it's why even the young are so miserable these days. Everybody starts out eating a high carb diet with frequent snacking real early in life.
Alhamdulillaah for this video Im hungry all the time!!! And my weight has plateaued for several months!!! No wonder why i felt sleepy after meal.. and ive never gone longer than 3 hours without wanting to eat.. Thanks for the video dr! May Allaah reward you with more goodness

Wow, i was diagnosed with nafl. Ever since i have been watching you, avoiding high fructose corn syrup or corn, avoiding carbs and soft drinks. Eating your liver healthy diets from your videos, i am showing significant signs of my liver healing. Dark circles disappearing slowly, losing weight around my stomach slowly, even my face isn't puffy, feel fuller more and can go longer without eating and feeling satisfied when i do eat. Everything you described pretty much i sm experiencing. Tells me my liver is healing. Way more energy now and not extremely fatigued. Never had this much energy my whole life. I was actually born jaundice and my whole life extremely fatigued. Had dark circles under my eyes since adolescents and was diagnosed with fatty liver in 2021 and wasn't even told. Seen it on my medical records. I have also been taking milk thistle as well as quercetin

I've noticed that if someone really knows about something, they are able to transmit it to others. This is Dr. Berg! I think he is wonderful!! If you're unable to understand your MD (money doctors), it's most likely because they don't understand it fully themselves. Just run away from those :-)
Andy Scheurer there are no carbs that are essential for nutrition. So there are no necessary carbs. And if you are insulin resistant carbs are indeed bad.
Lesley Pettit vegetables have carbs, and they are necessary. I think you’re referring to refined or simple carbs, such as bread, potatoes, pasta, chips, etc.
I really appreciate these health tips. I have been a bordering diabetic for 10 years, I had changed my diet to a vegetables and fish but guess what still consuming carbs. I have since reduce my carbs and those seven points mentioned in this video I have seen much improvement. Thank you Dr. Berg.
@@graciousSenor That is the same for me. I am new diagnosed prediabetic so just trying to get my diet sorted out but I have noticed no carbs at all is not working out very well at night time.

Now after doing keto/low carb and exercising tryg-320, cholesterol-176 and fasting glucose at 106. Really think I am turning things around by following Dr. Berg’s videos. Excited to see results in the next 1-2 months.
Thank you for all your videos! I was diagnosed with fatty live in Feb. I started keto life style then. I have lost 15 lbs so far. I still have days when I do not feel optimal, but I keep plodding along...it is working for me!🖒
I'm not diabetic. I have a belly, therefore, I know I am prediabetic. I tried Keto for several months and while I did lose weight, I also noticed my nails, hair, and other things becoming weaker. So I came out of Ketosis. I decided to eat healthier, no sugars, no hidden sugars, no fast foods or pre-packaged foods. I am getting healthier, losing my belly, and every part of me is healthy! I still listen to you, Dr. Berg, because you are a good teacher. I follow your advice, almost to a T. I still eat my oatmeal every morning. I've always liked whole oats with water and nothing else! I am addicted to Dr. Berg's video's. i find all that i have watched so helpful and all pertain to what's going on in my life. I just started intermittent fasting, taking his vitamin D3 and K2, Magnesium, Berberine, chewing 1 clove a day, Fairchild's Apple cider Vinegar before each meal and so much more. i also started exercising at least 45 minutes a day and i feel wonderful. Starting to loose the pounds and i can see the difference not just in weight but everything!!!! i feel rejuvenated!!! Dr. Berg, i can't thank you enough for your video's and your knowledge and countless studies!!! you simply are amazing!!! God Bless!!! Barbara
I've been so discouraged about not losing my weight as fast as I'd like to but each time I watch different video relating to insulin I feel a little better. I know that I'm insulin resistant and that it can be reversed. You finally gave me a tome line which helps me to stay track. Thank you again.
Also one thing to look at, high fructose corn syrup is in almost everything. Avoid it like a plague. 6 months consuming it can lead to non alcoholic fatty liver. Could be dealing with a liver issue. I found replacement items, condiments that doesn't have it. Miracle whip has it, so does ketchup but they make ones without it. I created a Walmart app that I began searching for food items and reading labels, then adding the items to my cart to remember them. Any corn products actually is hard on liver.
I havent ever been insulin resistant I think but I reversed it sooo much that even after my carb cycling days I'm still in ketosis, never hungry, full of energy
I agree. His videos have empowered me to make major changes….that have greatly paid off. My IR went down to 5.1 (A1C)…..and I am continuing the no sugar low/no carbs. I intend to do this for the rest of my life. I learned better/alternative foods, sweeteners etc. Lots of helpful info out there. Am able to IF and rarely craving things. God bless Dr Berg! Ahna
Wish I knew this as a youngster in the 1970's,, however now closer to my my mid 50s been doing all the stuff Dr Berg recommends and it's a life changer,,,as always a big Thanx for Great Info,,,
Dr. Berg is right! I am in the process after being type 2, then getting pancreatic cancer (the rare, slow-growing type) and having to take insulin daily. I am now taking less than half the insulin I started with after a Whipple Procedure (surgically removing the cancer in all the places it had spread- pancreas, gall bladder, 1/3 of my liver, the duodenum, and some lymph nodes). I do Keto with IF and keep my blood glucose under control. I cringe when I see diabetics eating sugary, carb heavy foods, then taking massive amounts of insulin to bring their blood glucose down. God bless you, Dr. Berg!
THANKS DOC! This is exactly what I needed to know, now I'm 100% sure I have insuline resistance, it's going to be a long road to recovery, but I'm ready for it.
Dr berg seriously i am in love with you. M a clinical pharmacist in pakistan and pre diabetic. Age 32 weight 58kg. I really enjoy the gaining of knowledge from you. Thanks a lot.
I completely reversed my diabetes and insulin resistance within a year thanks you. I got my blood results back and my insulin levels are extremely low due to my fasting and avoidance of carbs for over a year. Went from 13.9 A1C to 5.6. Lost 30 pounds and I actually work out less than I used to.
Thanks Dr Berg this was so timely for me. I've been on Keto (as healthy as possible) and IF for 10 months. Was doing really well Weight falling off, BG under control and BP coming down. Really low carbs and absolutely no sugar! But, my wife won a prize of an English Cream Tea at a very nice hotel. That's sandwiches, pastries, and scones with cream and jam plus a glass of champagne as well as the teat. What could it harm I thought just this once and boy o boy was I wrong. Even after fasting for 20 hrs the following day BG skyrocketed and BP was up. Never again, complete and utter mistake. Once you are on healthy keto never come off. I reckon it will take me weeks to undo the damage. Thanks for explaining so clearly how I messed up 😊
You'll be okay. Over time you will develop more metabolic flexibility and won't suffer such dramatic setbacks (within reason). We are not fixed creatures. We are ADAPTABLE. Keep doing what you're doing and as your body becomes ever more healthy you will bounce back more efficiently from "indiscretions". Congratulations on your success!
@@WH2012 Thank you. BG was back to normal today so faster than I expected. Before a very low carb lunch (18 hrs fasted) it was 5.0 mmol/l and I tested at 30, 60 an 90 minutes after and it didn't get any higher, so hopefully am back on track, but as Dr B says it'll take time.
It is type 3 diabetes. My mother, who was type 2, dodged the insulin injection for years. She now has Alzheimer's. I am now pre diabetic and now on keto. Going to visit her every week is a wake up call for me. Wake up people. I did.

Thank you. I was loosing hope because everything is so slow for me even on one meal a day but I am only 6 months on keto. Up to 8 months or more to reverse insulin resistance is me probably. I will keep going. Thank you.

I was waiting for this answer about duration needed for reversing insulin resistance since months. Unfortunetly, I did a search but I couldn't find a clear answer. Thanks for answering it in this video.
@@Kube_Dog You are right, we all have different bodies, we don't have the same degree of insulin resistance. That's why I believe that the time frame he suggested was variable, he said 3-8+months. I would not expect someone with diabetes to reverse his insulin resistance in a 3 months. I would not expect something which developed over years to go away in days. For me it was important to know if it would take years or I would see an improvement of my insulin resistance symptoms in few months. I would trust Dr. Berg because of his long time experience in this field. I am also a health professional, No body taught me in college about reversing insulin resistance. Food and pharmaceutical industries would not like that the truth comes to the world.

Dr Berg, now you are part of my daily information on health. Just recently I discovered diabete 2 and your video gives me a way out. I am working on it now in natural way and comprehensive methode. Thank from France 🙏
Just started Keto and IF. I'm type 2 diabetic and obese and obviously have IR. This is tough because I am hungry and because I have IR I don't see any results. So it's depressing especially when Dr. Berg says it may take 8 months to a year to reverse IR. But my goal is to get off all the medication I'm taking for high BP, cholesterol, and diabetes. Long road ahead, but thankfully there's Dr. Berg with great videos and advice
It’ll be worth it. The first month was very difficult for me. Once you get into a routine you will find that it is much easier. Also seeing the visceral fat melt away encouraged me greatly.
What a great blueprint for health and longevity. Thanks Dr Berg! I try just some of them and have seen so much improvement in my heath. Thanks so much !
This is the topic everyone looking to lose fat needs to start with. I am down 70lbs in 10 months based mostly on 16/8 IF and with a couple of months of Keto. I can tell my insulin resistance is gone because of all of the things you listed, but I will add one more. No more H-anger. When my blood sugar would crash, I felt like I would murder someone if I couldn't get something to eat. My system would almost shut down. That NEVER happens anymore. I feel that I am hungry, but it does not affect me in any other way. I am still fully functional. This will be the first video I send people to when they ask about losing weight.
Did your weight loss start slow and pick up over time? I have only managed 15 pounds or so in 4 months, I'm guessing due to IR. Hope it picks up when that finally reverses!
I just want to say I had endometriosis 8 years ago and it diminished after starting low carb: keto, recently been following fitness gurus that claim sugar is not bad, started eating like them a lot of carbs and sugars in my meal frequent meals too, and after 8 years my endometriosis came back, definitely endometriosis is an insulin pancreas liver problem, anyone suffering try no sugar for a couple of months, have one sugar dessert a week if u can’t handle it, but try it and watch your endometriosis disappear.

Most people don't think about this area of oral hygiene. You are absolutely correct. Also, using a water flosser is very important.
THANK YOU.
Congratulations 🎉
Wow amazing!
Happy for you and the better quality of life 🎊
Love the success comments!
Update please
I was obese, depressed and overworked. I had given up on myself and my life. Since starting ketogenic diet I have lost 35 lbs and have 50 more to go. I reversed pre diabetes.
I’m also doing a lower level exercise daily. I also look forward to getting home to do self care. Diet and exercise.
Thanks!!!
I was all 3 too. I lost your goal weight but I got 80 more to go lol
Can we eat normally after reversing type 2 diabetes. I mean carbs.
That's impressive. How much time do you workout per day?
@@lunaticjite1 I really doubt you can start back up eating the way you did before, especially the carbs. You must learn to stay away from them as much as possible.

I feel this absolutely works..Thanks Doctor..
Im doing this.... Now cutting the beverage once a week. No sugar means meal prepping and staying full of enough fat. Why go back to sugar?
Cheers for the video content! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Damykrotia Natural Skin Magic (do a google search)? It is a great one off product for reversing insulin resistance and diabetes minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 at last got great results with it.

No hair loss. I do use collagen peptides powder in my coffee which is good for hair and nails as well as tendons, ligaments and sleep.
Ive lost 15lbs from 155 to 140 so far in 10 weeks. Keto and intermittent fasting, with light workouts.
Claudia Frank 😂🤣 Good Question, you are funny 🌸
Did you follow keto and do resistance training to get it down?
You described my life perfectly - no weight loss despite huge exercise commitments, no weight loss despite all the 'diets' I tried, and despite all this, I am eternally hungry. You have converted me - cant thank you enough.
Hi how did u lose?

That is down right WRONG that people are not being given the right information.
amen amigo!!
How long did it take you to have this normal level?
marcus Aurelius 95 I would love to know also. I predict maybe 3 months?
FDA, CDC, and Big pharma LOVE sick people... good for business.

You should not exercise immediately after meal. Maybe after atleast 40 minutes after your meal
Thanks for the tip, I've seen this before, that exercise after a meal helps clear excess sugars, but I'd forgotten it. It sounds right to me, because after I eat my hunger goes sky high. It doesn't make sense.
@@sz4179 You have reactive hypoglycemia due to deficiencies.
Fix your B vitamins and Magnesium!

You are literally saving lives. I love how you explain it. It is so easy to understand and makes so much sense. Thank you Dr. Berg!!! 💜
Thank you! Feedback from our followers is always appreciated.
Cheese. Quinoa pasta,
Taking Cytomel , synthroid, D3, potassium, zinc, magnesium, coQ10,
B complex, elderberry, and starting k2, selenium, apple cider vinegar, and iodine today.
So you became insulin resistant at the age of two ???😂😂😂
You can eat small amount of fruit on keto, mostly berries, such as blackberries, elderberries, cranberries (unsweetened), blueberries, raspberries etc.

It takes time. I'm in year 3 and my best results are just coming now. Age 59

Berg!
Doing Keto will also starve those cancer cells

Ralph Taylor ☺thank you for your advice dear...I can imagine it...
@@ralphtaylor9968 Nice work!
I'll bet the goodies at the English tea were incredible though ;)
I heard someone on another video refer to Alzheimer's as 'Type 3 Diabetes' - what a wake up call that was. Thank you so much again
I heard it called that too, a couple of years ago. Really puts things into perspective.
It is type 3 diabetes. My mother, who was type 2, dodged the insulin injection for years. She now has Alzheimer's. I am now pre diabetic and now on keto. Going to visit her every week is a wake up call for me.
Wake up people. I did.
@@trikkinikki13 really? I hope your mother heals.

I was never diagnosed, but I was combating scatterbrain and mental fogginess for many years, heartburn, dermatitis, food comas, and would sometimes get nerve pain in my toes. Skinny, but probably had prediabetes! Everything is better now but sometimes still get sleepy after eating.
Bless your mom.
Diabetes of the brain 🧠
Thank you. I was loosing hope because everything is so slow for me even on one meal a day but I am only 6 months on keto. Up to 8 months or more to reverse insulin resistance is me probably. I will keep going. Thank you.
Wondering how long it took things to get moving? I'm also in the slow category.. 4 months and still slogging!
Inspiring, thank you. Today I'm just under 2 months into this project, 74 years old (otherwise healthy) and feeling discouraged. This picked me up. I just need to keep going!
check your vit B if you feel discouraged..
Worlds best doctor, this guy started helping others for free years ago, he's done 1000s of videos that have helped millions around the world, the real star of UA-cam
I was waiting for this answer about duration needed for reversing insulin resistance since months. Unfortunetly, I did a search but I couldn't find a clear answer. Thanks for answering it in this video.
Aliss 1 I had a similar situation .. thanks God finally I had the answer ..
I really appreciate the visuals on the whiteboard . More people should teach this way on UA-cam.
I did the 4 hour eating window from your other video and broke my plateau and still going down ❤️ thank you Dr Berg
This was not a question I asked, but it is definitely something I needed. Thanks again for all you do Dr. Berg!!
Dr Berg is a blessing in disguise, watching from Pakistan.
جزاک اللہ خیرا.
Thank You So Much!! You've helped me in so many ways with your Knowledge. I was a type 2 diabetic. My A1C is now 5.8 for the past 10 months.
You're wonderful to listen to! You explain everything so well. I wish you were my doctor.
I have watched dozens of your videos. All great. What I love about this one is that it is a great overview. Summarizes the main points beautifully.
Since watching you DR Berg I started IF been doin it around 4 weeks now . I can go 16-20 hours now . I even had a few drinks yday , and usually I would of ate everything on site the next day . But today woke not even hungry ate my eggs around 1 did my 10,000 steps plus a hour bike ride came home an wasn’t even hungry . Ate a huge prawn cocktail salad an banana. Feeling fantastic. I am sort of doin keto diet now too , need to get a book as am finding it a little confusing after following slimming world for years x
Wow! I've watched this before, but this video is so good, it's well worth watching over and over! Thanks Dr. Berg!
This is so helpful, Dr. Berg. I like how your videos are short and to-the-point. :)
Dr Berg, now you are part of my daily information on health. Just recently I discovered diabete 2 and your video gives me a way out. I am working on it now in natural way and comprehensive methode. Thank from France 🙏
Finally! Someone to break this down in a way I could understand. Thank you!
Also seeing the visceral fat melt away encouraged me greatly.
update on how you are doing now? I'm at month 4 and still hoping for better results!
Right on dr Berg you have helped me put all this together over the last year thank you from Canada 🇨🇦
This is the BEST video I’ve ever seen with full explanation and *recommendation ... confirming what I’ve always known was best for my individual health... my own pcp never explained these concepts so well and so comprehensively!
You have just empowered me Dr Berg, Every day I struggle for energy and I now truly understand the debilitating impacts of long term insulin resistance with severe multiple nutritional, vitamin, minerals and hormone deficiencies. This year I have hope to live to see my 50th and make significant changes. Had vitamin infusions just to be able to be cognitive enough to understand this video. Pharma will no longer own me or control my long drawn out death.
