Moto Guzzi offers both higher and lower comfort seats as an accessory (both are heated, by the way). Being 185 cm I got the high seat and it is very comfortable. I got my V100S Verde in July/23 and loving it.
Last year (2021), I started bird-dawgin this Italian beauty. In September 2022, I gave Plano, Texas USA Moto Guzzi a $500 deposit. Early in the morning of 10/17/2022, on the Moto Guzzi USA web store, I entered my online “reservation” for the 2023 V100 Mandello “S” in “Centenario” Livery (premium Verde 2121 color) - Special Edition $17,490. The customer care representative told me my Order# 190 was the 1st V100 Mandello order received by Moto Guzzi USA. I’m SUPER EXCITED! To me, the V100 Mandello is STUNNINGLY EXOTIC & HANDSOME!
Io lo comprata quest' estate nuova ancora in Sicilia non se ne vedono ed e veramente uno sballo e qui in Sicilia il clima e molto mite e la userò anche in inverno..la mio v100 s.
Hi, regarding the gearbox, at the first it seems indeed a bit inconsistent, especially up shifting 2 to 3, but after a while you get used to it and it becomes perfectly predictable. Just a matter of time. For the rest, great bike ! Thanks for the video
You liked that didn't you? 😜 Very nice ride and a lovely bike. I enjoyed the scenery as well. I'd love one but couldn't justify the expense, so I'll have to stick with my V7iii
My 2022 BMW 1250 R/T shifts very harsh from 1st-2nd gear when using the quick shifter unless I short shift the RPM.s,,, it also goes into neutral during casual down shifting very often when going downhill in the twisties...My 2015 MV Agusta 800 Dragster RR also has a false neutral.
To not feel the difference from the wingless at faster speeds or slower speeds ,if this the basis of your statement is the point . You should feel no or little direct wind force were it's geared towards when it's folded and the same when it is folded out .
Very nice review. I enjoyed riding with you. I am very impressed with how clean and neat your country is and the lack of traffic. Unlike my country, USA. I am undecided on the V100 as I am up in age and have no plans for another bike but I might be talked into trading y V7lll and my T120 for one. White would be my choice. Who knows when I finally get to see one. Unfortunately my local dealer isn't too keen on test rides and doesn't have demo bikes.
Don't know how old you are but I'm 60 and just went from a V9 Bobber Sport to a V100S, and it's a revelation. Much as I love the old-school Guzzi, the V100S does not compromise on anything. It's super easy to ride, as fast as I can handle safely, and chock full of useful gadgets. Rain mode makes it about as tame as my Piaggio BV 350. Sport mode will keep up with 99% of other bikes on the road, ridden by 99% of the drivers out there. It's a finisher bike.
@@gapper3 I bought a V100 Marina or as some call it a Navale. You are right, it is an incredible bike , handling is unbelievable. I am 78 and have been riding since I was 19. I have never ridden with all the bikes I have owned or ridden with as much confidence as I can with the V100 and I have had it for just over a week. My former T120 handled like dump truck compared to this bike. I also have a V7lll and no comparison between the two. The V7 may get better when I put some decent tires on it. I haven't run my new bike too hard yet, I believe in a proper breakin but it pulls hard from what little I have done. Enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.
@@karlbishop7481 78 and you just bought an Edizione Navale ? Hats off to you Sir, both for your joie de vivre and your taste ! I adore the graphics of the Navale but really wanted the S extras, especially the suspension. Went for the Verde 2121.
Great video! I really want one of these! I have been considering ordering one, but I will not be able to see one in the flash until maybe February at the Toronto Motorcycle show, if there is one in 2023. And if Moto Guzzi is there with a display. May I ask, is it as good as you hoped it would be?
Yes, as far I can say (wet roads) it is even more slick and smooth then I hoped that it would be. Lots of comfort and it makes you feel special, like a Ducati 916 does. It gave me confidence and encourage to drive fast in a easy way. I didn’t go any faster because it is not my own bike. Angel GT II tires are also great!
@@suplexracing1676 I watched some of your other videos, to get an idea of the kind of experience you have. So with that knowledge I have respect of your skills, your opinion carries a lot of weight. Thank you for the information, it will make putting a deposit on one much easier.
Thank you for the ride! How would you rate the wind protection and buffeting? With my 188cm buffeting kills me on the V85tt regardless which windshield I use.
Did a 200km ride today with wind, rain and sub 10 degrees celsius. It’s not an BMW RT, but the screen did a very nice job! Can imagine that a bit bigger screen is even better though. There is no buffeting, but my shoulders and helmet are not protected.
I think the bike has alot of potential, and it sounds pretty good too! Absolutely beautiful town. I am curious about the canals along the road way. Why are they all full of water? Storm or naturally wet area?
This is a very low part of the Netherlands, with old peat extraction fields which are pumped dry and used for agriculture. The canels are used for irrigation these days and are always at the same (controlled) level.
Great review! Love the sound of the engine when you opened it up. Do you know if the windshield you had was the standard one or the touring one which is supposed to be 33% bigger. Enjoy your new bike when you get it. I ordered a limited edition Aviazione Navale model. I really liked the light grey colour.
The sound quality is not the better, but it seems that the v100 have a nice sound. EDIT: In the min 7 you passed on a very beautiful village, where is that?
If you live in the USA - expect the worst dealer service of any brand of motorcycle made - save for the Chinese bikes creeping in! My horror stories will curl your hair! And speedos' with a service life of 50-miles! And if you thought BMW gearbox's were agricultural - Guzi has them beat hands down. Quirky - thats the word I am looking for! Vielen Dank für das VIDEO. Mein V100 steht noch ohne Anmeldung in der Garage. Wir haben noch zu viel Salz auf den Straßen in Deutschland.
Thanks for the video. Looking forward to test riding one of these myself soon. Be nice to see what Noraly thinks of this on tarmac of course.

In my experience the gearbox and engine need to break in for a while, then shifting becomes smoother and the engine revs more freely and runs cooler.
What a moto!!!

Thx for the good Video. It seems, the Quickshifter works fine
Yes it does, but in lower gears, it is a little bit inconsistent. With a certain pace, it is great!

That is an awful road for a ride. But an excellent test circuit for a bike.
maar hoe hard gaat ie nou? en is dat niet gevaarlijk
