Very much fun, never driven an 15 HP motorcycle. Some anticipation and bravery needed during rush hour.

First training day of 2024. Fresh slicks, but only 8°C. The SC1 on the back was tearing apart. Yam R6 still with stock suspension. Had to muscle myself through a bunch of 1000cc Superbikes.
2024 KTM 890 Adventure R winter break-in ride

First (real) ride with the KTM 890 Adventure R 2024. There was a lot of salt on the roads from the week before which attracted some moist on the tarmac. The temperature was, however, into the 2 digit numbers and pleasant. Great bike, will be fun when the weather gets better!

Spring ride with some family through the (very) well known Dutch landscape. It was only 6 degrees this day, so a little bit too cold for my linking. Sorry for the use of Dutch language.
A dry day in January!

Waited ages for the roads to dry during this winter. It was a bit chilly (10 deg), but you must always take the oppertunity to have some fun. Did some touring through the country too, but without the GoPro unfortunately. I've sorted the audio out, soo next time, with some more talking I think.

@@rv-ht7ju I know, lol. I’ve also made recordings to the other side that day, but the GoPro was (again) in error that time….
Dat gaat lekker man! 😎👍

knap dat zoveel geduld had, wat een stoethapsels.
Gááf!
Moto Guzzi offers both higher and lower comfort seats as an accessory (both are heated, by the way). Being 185 cm I got the high seat and it is very comfortable. I got my V100S Verde in July/23 and loving it.
prob 1st 24 ive seen
👍 Nothing really changed. It’s the same bike.
Leuk ritje, Lekdijk!
Hi, regarding the gearbox, at the first it seems indeed a bit inconsistent, especially up shifting 2 to 3, but after a while you get used to it and it becomes perfectly predictable. Just a matter of time. For the rest, great bike ! Thanks for the video
In my experience the gearbox and engine need to break in for a while, then shifting becomes smoother and the engine revs more freely and runs cooler.
You liked that didn't you? 😜 Very nice ride and a lovely bike. I enjoyed the scenery as well. I'd love one but couldn't justify the expense, so I'll have to stick with my V7iii
Mooie tijden! Groep 4 msl?
Klopt!
top rond de 250?
Geen idee. Volgens mij heb ik max. 240 gezien op de teller. Maar er stond flinke tegenwind.

OK, what's the idea behind those twin dashed lines? "Both travel directions share one middle lane as bicycles may be using the left/right shoulder, and hope you don't encounter oncoming traffic "? Edit: nm, the entire road seems to be configured like a big mixed use bicycle/pedestrian lane, which can also be used by full-powered motor vehicles, and speed limits (if any) are waaaaay above what I'd consider safe for what's essentially a one-way street used in both directions. 😮 And I drive/ride in Greece 😅
What a moto!!!
That is an awful road for a ride. But an excellent test circuit for a bike.
Among the best options on the market at the moment. Very elegant aswell.
How do you find the wind buffering? Compared to other touring bikes?
If you live in the USA - expect the worst dealer service of any brand of motorcycle made - save for the Chinese bikes creeping in! My horror stories will curl your hair! And speedos' with a service life of 50-miles! And if you thought BMW gearbox's were agricultural - Guzi has them beat hands down. Quirky - thats the word I am looking for! Having or characterized by peculiar or unexpected traits or aspects!
Something with party’s and fun….
@@suplexracing1676 If you have a spare 30-hrs I will tell you all about my 1997 Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport - at the dealer waiting for parts!
My 2022 BMW 1250 R/T shifts very harsh from 1st-2nd gear when using the quick shifter unless I short shift the RPM.s,,, it also goes into neutral during casual down shifting very often when going downhill in the twisties...My 2015 MV Agusta 800 Dragster RR also has a false neutral.
Essai pour entendre le bruit du vent 😂. Bref sans intérêt
Sorry the wings .
To not feel the difference from the wingless at faster speeds or slower speeds ,if this the basis of your statement is the point . You should feel no or little direct wind force were it's geared towards when it's folded and the same when it is folded out .
Such a nice bike. Congrats!
I dont understand the road sistam, but i like it?
Looks like a fun bike. How often does it require service?
12.000 km
Did you try it also with the high comfort seat? Is is a lot better? Thanks for the answer. You got my like.
I’ve ordered one, but not arrived yet.
@@suplexracing1676 How long you will have to wait?
No idea
@@suplexracing1676 OK. I hope soon bro.
beautiful roads great bike.
Er wordt gezegd dat Italië het mooiste land ter wereld is, maar wat ik zie is Nederland ook mooi en rijden op een Guzzi V100 is nog beter! Groeten uit Milaan
Difference is that you have to know where to look in the Netherlands and it is crowded, where in Italy, it's beautiful almost everywhere you go.
Hi Pepijn Im enjoying this little series on the V100S. Just wishing that the constant rain in Wales would let me out on mine. So until a decent dry day, I'll enjoy your ride vicariously.
Did a torrential rain ride last monday. Still made me smile.
I love the Dutch country side scenery, very beautiful and clean. I've ordered mine with expected delivery in March. When you were riding faster, what was the red light flashing in the instrument cluster? Great vid, Baie Dankie :)
The red light is de shiftlight. I’ve set in on 4500 tpm for the run-in period. Occasionally I go over it… Standard it’s set on 6000 tpm for run-in, so no worries.
Lovely looking bike - but, transverse V twins, boxers and singles should never be water-cooled, in my opinion!
You’re right indeed. But they are hard to find these days….new and fresh, with the riggt amount of power. Euro5…
Why?
ordered nov 15th, waiting for delivery, looking forward to enjoy it. cheers from Italy
lekker ritje zo, over de Vlist..
Thanks for sharing. I found those roads very interesting.
Mostly dykes.
Thank you for the ride! How would you rate the wind protection and buffeting? With my 188cm buffeting kills me on the V85tt regardless which windshield I use.
Did a 200km ride today with wind, rain and sub 10 degrees celsius. It’s not an BMW RT, but the screen did a very nice job! Can imagine that a bit bigger screen is even better though. There is no buffeting, but my shoulders and helmet are not protected.
this is the reason i had to let go of the tracer 9gt as well.
Cool, still waiting for a test ride and then I will decide whether I will trade my V85 TT for V100 S or I will stay with my V85 TT. ;-) anyway thanks for a nice video.
I think the bike has alot of potential, and it sounds pretty good too! Absolutely beautiful town. I am curious about the canals along the road way. Why are they all full of water? Storm or naturally wet area?
true!!
This is a very low part of the Netherlands, with old peat extraction fields which are pumped dry and used for agriculture. The canels are used for irrigation these days and are always at the same (controlled) level.
What do you mean by 'a lot of potential'?
Enjoy the new bike!

Where’s all the pot holes? :)
In Belgium, hehe.
Not so easy to test a bike in the twisties in your aera🤣🤣
No, it isn’t. Altough, if you know the area a bit, it can be fun. Not visible in this video however.

@@moppedbuaontour You lucky one.
Very nice review. I enjoyed riding with you. I am very impressed with how clean and neat your country is and the lack of traffic. Unlike my country, USA. I am undecided on the V100 as I am up in age and have no plans for another bike but I might be talked into trading y V7lll and my T120 for one. White would be my choice. Who knows when I finally get to see one. Unfortunately my local dealer isn't too keen on test rides and doesn't have demo bikes.
En de dealer betaald de snelheids bekeuringen zeker ....
Don't know how old you are but I'm 60 and just went from a V9 Bobber Sport to a V100S, and it's a revelation. Much as I love the old-school Guzzi, the V100S does not compromise on anything. It's super easy to ride, as fast as I can handle safely, and chock full of useful gadgets. Rain mode makes it about as tame as my Piaggio BV 350. Sport mode will keep up with 99% of other bikes on the road, ridden by 99% of the drivers out there. It's a finisher bike.
@@gapper3 I bought a V100 Marina or as some call it a Navale. You are right, it is an incredible bike , handling is unbelievable. I am 78 and have been riding since I was 19. I have never ridden with all the bikes I have owned or ridden with as much confidence as I can with the V100 and I have had it for just over a week. My former T120 handled like dump truck compared to this bike. I also have a V7lll and no comparison between the two. The V7 may get better when I put some decent tires on it. I haven't run my new bike too hard yet, I believe in a proper breakin but it pulls hard from what little I have done. Enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.
@@karlbishop7481 78 and you just bought an Edizione Navale ? Hats off to you Sir, both for your joie de vivre and your taste ! I adore the graphics of the Navale but really wanted the S extras, especially the suspension. Went for the Verde 2121.
Great review! Love the sound of the engine when you opened it up. Do you know if the windshield you had was the standard one or the touring one which is supposed to be 33% bigger. Enjoy your new bike when you get it. I ordered a limited edition Aviazione Navale model. I really liked the light grey colour.
Congratz with the grey one! This was the standard screen, mostly placed in the highest position during this ride.
Thanks for the video. Looking forward to test riding one of these myself soon. Be nice to see what Noraly thinks of this on tarmac of course.
