Granny Square - Crochet - Easy - Beginner!

Are you new to the craft of crochet?
Or maybe you are just looking for a classy, simple square to complete your project.
This crochet granny square for beginners is a super simple generic pattern that will help you become more comfortable with a few simple techniques.
If you're an old cro pro looking for the perfect square to complete, just about any granny square project, this would also be a great granny square to work up. The pattern is simple, quick and you can work up several within an hour!
There are so many different granny square patterns available online along with so many different uses for the granny square so I thought it might be helpful for those just getting started to have a granny square without all of the bells and whistles to help fine tune the craft.

Hi Sandra! The tutorial is strictly for the granny square, I know that is a bit confusing with the flower showing in the photo, I was just kind of sprucing up the picture. The flower is a pattern I got from Ravelry, if you do a search for free daisy coaster pattern you will find a few similar patterns. Thanks so much =)
