Excellent review. Absolutely the first one I’ve seen that shows the cheek pad being able to slide back past the magazine slot👍. They could have easily cut out a profile on the piece to allow it to move even more forward if they didn’t want to force people to spend more money on the accessories. My .30 is arriving tomorrow, and can’t wait to put it to use in my business.
Thanks for your kind words Tim. I try and cover little bits and pieces that other reviews may miss. Hope your .30 cal is good to go and works out brilliantly for you :)
Thanks for the comment. You’re right, it’d be good to do a video on this versus say the Delta or the Impact. Let’s see how it does on the initial testing first :)
Moved my cheek rest further back on the dovetail so that it cleared the magazine port - I can now have 2 magazines in at the same time. Looks like yours is set up the same. Saves getting the cheek riser add-on piece👍
Hi Zubys, Excellent run through, looks like a well made bit of kit. Looking forward to your part 2. Hope you have a better time than with the last Fx. Keep up the excellent reviews. Might see you down at Atherton one day.
Thanks so much Brandon. Haven’t had the chance to scope up yet or clean yet, before testing. Am looking forward to this and I’ve got my fingers crossed that this one goes well compared the hassles I’ve faced recently
Handled one at my rfd, nice and compact, felt and looked well built, my Mrs took a shine to it as well... Mmmmm be a nice surprise birthday prezzie for her in October, just have to wait and see..
Having had mine for a few months now, I decided to swap around the cheek piece rest to see if it could give me better eye relief for my scope. I then tried to put the mag in from the left side but no matter what, once in, it wouldn't cycle a pellet! Not sure as to why yet. Looks like a trip back to the shop with it. I have also found the reach for me once shouldered, is to short. With no adjustability, it looks like I'm going to have to make and install a spacer of about 30mm. At just under six feet tall, my arms are not long by any account. An adjustable for reach butt pad would be a great addition on any MK ll model.
Thank Paul. Straight off the bat when I first saw the Ghost I was like ‘they’ve cloned the Delta and changed the interior’; I’ve not been able to test yet but I’m looking forward to seeing what this can do
Great review. Just saying that the chrono readings I got with my LNBR chrono with the same weight pellets were a tad under the test sheet I got with mine. Probably won't make much difference in the real world though.
@zubysan when filling go right to end of fill pressure. Yep right into the red then u get proper shots..I go pass reg setting and no point of impact drop by about 15 bar..Great rifle...and I have a few few.....put a pard ds35 great nite vision set up..
FYI - Both my regulators are at 180deg to yours which makes it easy to read when the rifle is up to your shoulder - you can simply tilt the rifle left or right to read each one with ease 😀
Thanks for the comment Simon. I predominantly target shoot so I prefer the gauges in line with the rest of the rifle. I don’t like it when the bottle gauge is facing one direction and the reg gauge is another; inconsistency like that shouldn’t be on top rifles like this
Hi mate I’m looking at getting one in the new year, any problems or issues you’ve had? I’ve heard some people have had issues with loading the magazine, any regulator issues? There shouldn’t be as it’s a huma reg, and I fitted one to my bsa r10 a few years ago. Kind regards Jon Fin
Hi mate. Thanks for the comment. Fortunately I haven’t had any issues with the one I’m mindful that I haven’t shot it as much as I would have liked, but knock-on wood so far no problems.
One other thing… I’ve been using a single shot loader because I’ve been using it on a bench for target shooting, as opposed to in the field for pest control. So I can’t vouch for the use of long-term mag use, but considering this uses the same mag as my delta wolf and I’ve had no mag issues with that, this one’s been ok (again knock-on wood) :)
Glad I am not the only one noticing poorly installed regulator gauges. Received my new Dreamline in 7,62mm. It comes with an externally adjustable regulator. The access port is at 4 o'clock so I can get to it with a bipod fitted. Because of that the front tank gauge is also not in line with the gun. I expect more on a +1000€ item. 👎👎
@@Terryhaslet I love both rifles , I've had plenty of time with both , if I had to choose I'd go with the agt , the extras that the company include with the rifle + the well engineered and solid feel of the Vulcan is why I'd make that choice .

Good to meet you Zuby enjoy the Ghost !
Thanks so much for the hospitality Richard and for great chat. It’s great to meet someone who’s into the sport as much as you.
Another cool video 👍 look forward to seeing it on the range. Be good to see it go head to head with your impact m3 and the delta wolf 👌

Nice to see a video by a person and not one of the sales rep 👍
Thanks for the comment my friend. I appreciate it when people recognise I’m independent and honest from My experience of owning the rifles.

Thanks for the comment Simon. You’re right, I’ll leave the cheek piece where it is for now :)
Excellent choice mate!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎
Thanks so much Alan. After all the hype and great reports (from the UK sub 12 owners), I’m looking forward to this

It is indeed nice and compact and I’m just trying to decide what scope to put on it. Let’s see if it’s as good as everyone says.

Thanks for the comment. Sorry to hear about having to return the rifle. Please let me know how you get on.

Thanks for the comment and pleased you like the way I do the videos. :)
wet nice gun and i think it is one that is good out the box mate . from what i have seen your bang on a mechanical delta wolf 👍

Probably best out there..u love it...
I hope so Rob, especially after my experiences with the Panthera which was disappointing

Really good reviews. How does it compare to your AirArms S510TR?
Thanks for the comment and kind words. I’ll be doing a follow up video with my results so please stay tuned :)
just got one myself all PRS bits apart from ssl & gen 4

Mine in.22u getting 450 shots....from around 250 bar...
Thanks for letting me know Rob; let’s see what the .177 does :)
Hi can you get a sling for the ghost and if so how do you attach this as I can't see any vids showing one with a sling.
Thanks
The quality control certificate obviously doesn't include checking the wonky pressure guage
I wish pressure gauges were set level with the block. It’s my pet gate when they’re not, especially on expensive rifles
@@zubysanGuess it's just where the thread bottoms out. I know what you mean though.
Cmon where is part 2😉
Soon my friend, coming soon. :)

I am so pleased you commented as this is a huge pet peeve of mine; gauges not installed where they’re off centre. Especially in high end rifles
How many mags do you get as standard
Just the one magazine
What is the inside of the gun look like?
Sorry what do you mean? I don't plan to take it apart any time soon if that's what you mean?
@@zubysan I mean behind the metal housing. Not to take it apart.
The ghost is a poor man’s delta wolf
Having said that it isn’t half bad and does shoot well
Ghost or Vulcan 3? Any initial thoughts pal?
Thanks for the question. It’s a tough one to be honest. I’ll be doing my follow up video on the Ghost so please stay tuned and see the results.
@@zubysan OK. I’ll ask again once you’ve completed the ghost review. You’ve handled them both so are well placed which direction to go👍
