Hi Zuby, looks like you have come over to the old school. Glad to see you shooting the Cometa. Keith will love shooting the fusion. I still prefer my fenix over my hw98. Glad to see you enjoying the springers. Big Dan is one top man, wish he would come up to Atherton and have a good days shooting with us all. All the best Zuby & will see you down there soon.
Brandon mate. You’ve been a big influence and support in helping me getting back into springers. So huge shouts to you mate. Your passion and expertise has been great to see when we’ve spoken and the Cometa was something I’ve been quietly eyeing up since you let me try yours. I’m looking forward to next time we can meet at the range; I’d love you to try out the springers I’ve gotten into now and tap your brain on what I should focus on next. Thanks again mate, you’re a star! :)
I bought the Fenix 400 USC about 18 months ago and love it. I switched from Springers 30yrs ago gradually working my way through a range of quality PCPs, sub 12 and FAC (waiting for my latest purchase to arrive as we speak) but this Cometa is a keeper. They have a unique and unusual firing cycle and I find it a refreshing change from a pcp. I’m mainly a walk and stalk pest control controller as far as air rifles are concerned so the weight and size of springers compared to the modern day super light, folding stock pcps means the pcps have to be my go to guns but I still wouldn’t part with the Cometa.
Thanks for the comment. The Cometa has been something I’ve been keeping my eye on and Dan’s Black Friday deal on it was a no brainer for me. I’m so pleased with it and not having shot it for just a day is giving me withdrawal symptoms! I’m terrible! 😂
nice rifle and for the money i think you get quite a lot of rifle . not a shabby group at all mate . especially because the barrel is only had a few pellets through it 👍
Just bought a fusion walnut, very nice stock and I like the twangless shot cycle and the lock time is super fast. However I think it's going to have to go back to the shop as the first stage on the trigger is rough and it's very loud for a springer. And I wasn't keen on the gruanchy sound and feel when cocking. Don't get me wrong it's a geat gun for the money that can shoot 5p groups at 30 meters with h&n barracuda 8 but I don't think it's the right gun for me. For an additional hundred quid I can buy a hw97k
Really sorry to hear it’s going back. I’ve accepted that out the box the trigger first stage needed looking at and it’s slightly gritty now but I’ve been told by Dan and other experienced springer shooters that this will iron out with use and then I’ve got the options to fine tune to get the first and second stages even better.
The Fusion is better than every new BSA, Gamo or Hatsan break barrel on the market and will end with a better trigger close to a HW. The Fusion is exactly what the market in that price range needed to compete away the other cheap build rubbish. The HW safety catch is just what you're used to, no problems at all to push with my thumb from the side but for left hand shooters placed on the back will be way better.
I’m amazed by the Fusion and how competitive the quality provided is for the price. Also the Fenix which is coming soon to the channel is also as beautiful.

@@zubysan Two winners 😁
👍👍👍👍
Any reason why your slamming the barrel shut so hard???
I don’t know; guest it’s force of habit from using my old BSA back in the day
Hey mate, if you appreciate break barrel accuracy without alot of effort try an HW30, it's a proven design
Thanks for the tip. I’ll check them out for sure :)
