There are many reasons to why I love this song but I'll just list a few of them 1 : the song is calming but still has that upbeat feel to it, it's basically telling you " yesterday might have been bad but today will always be better " and I love songs like that 2 : jack. Lin has played many roles but I personally think jack is his all time best, jack is upbeat, funny, witty, and overall charming, such a perfect role for Lin to play in the movie 3 : the message. This song has such a great message, basically the song ( to me ) is saying that " yes yesterday wasn't a good day but you're alive and healthy and there are always more good days to come, keep looking up because you'll be on a good day before you know it " and I appreciate that message so much! I love this song, so awesome!

I love how this song is also very tongue and cheek. The "Great Slump" is going on and he stole that apple and gave to a guy waiting in a breadline with his kids then, if you really look at the "Lovely London Sky" it's cloudy because Mary Poppins hasn't arrived to brighten things up....Everything is really dark until the bathtub scene when the dirt of gloom is washed away through silly nonsense as Michael will later accuse Mary of doing while forgetting what happened when he was a child....
Kawaii Disney I was a lot more excited for Lin’s parts but then again, that’s just me already being a fangirl of lin lol I was really impressed with movie though. I thought it was really good, including Emily Blunt!

Lin has such a beautiful, unique and cool singing voice and his acting is perfect. Love this movie and Emily's Mary Poppins is perfect. She's an incredible actress and her voice is so warm and special.
I love his accent! And really, to be honest with you, i think that this guys accent is better than the other guys accent in the first movie. I have watched the movie like 15 times!!!!!!!! It is soooooooooooooooo good!!!! And i love it how he says "you'll be blessed so keep on looking high!!!"

I had only seen a few commercials for this movie before it came out, and at the time I had no idea Lin was going to be in it. So when I started to watch the movie I was freaking out. My mom made a comment on how fast he could rap and I was like '......so you haven't listened to Hamilton?'
And he never spoke the words, he sang throughout. He can really sing, not fake it. As for the song, it reminds me of Charlie Chaplin's music in his old films - melodious, melancholy, sentimental, hopeful.
When he sings this tune even at 1:17, it sounds almost exactly like a line from "Simply Second Nature", because Shaiman and Wittman wrote both songs - also the musical Charlie and Chocolate Factory
Emily makes such a good mary poppins you can see it in her face and hear it in her voice. and Lin did phenomenal but i think a simple kiss between him and his crush would've settled the movie with a good taste
