It’ll always be different. I think I’ve lost my mother in this way...
Think of how much your Mom must have loved you . As we grow up we develop differences in opinions etc , it’s our egos that keep us apart really . The l am right , or the you never did this , or the perceived slights that one person does to another . The funny thing is that they may not ever know they hurt you . This l leaned from my own experience . I don’t know if you have ever lost someone in your life ..... l mean someone that once meant something to you , but the politics of life got in the way . Much like you and your Mom are now . You can capture that feeling again by loving your Mom despite all the politics . Maybe with the same tenderness and commitment she show you when you were a child . The world is tough and lonely place at times . Whether it’s your fault or hers ...... let it go . And hold on to each other before your time runs out .
I am so sorry, this is one of my main fears as I grow up. Even as a kid, I know one thing you can do, reminisce over the times you made mistakes with her and her making mistakes with you, tell her how you have changed and that your sorry, and mend the relationship before it is too late, or else you or her will deal with the guilt forever.

I cried through the whole thing and I'm original Mary Poppins fan, I was six when it came out and I still have the paper dolls. It was a wonderful love letter to the original. It's a success on its own merits and as a tribute.

I’m a freshman in high school, and middle school were the best three years of my life. Especially, last year, my 8th grade year. I’m missing my middle school, mainly my friends there and the wonderful teachers I had, and I was really sad for a while, still kind of am. But I’m gonna look for the memories from Middle School that I want to find, and my friends that I miss, where the lost things go.
I'm in 8th grade, and I have some bad teachers, but I have a few amazing teachers and my school is so small we're just one big community. I know I'll be torn apart when I have to leave it, but I will cherish all my memories- the good and the bad. I am struggling right now. Not with my schoolwork, but with social aspects, and the easy happiness I always felt is now in the place where the lost things go. But that place, it always sends memories back. Those times aren't gone. Just enfolded. *Yes I quoted A Wrinkle In Time I'm a movie nerd*

Freshman in college here. Leaving home will be the hardest thing you will ever do, but all of the adventures you will have make it worth it. It will get better I promise.
This is really a very deep song with a lasting message for the bereaved children. It is vastly comforting. It deserves to be remembered, recorded, respected.
I recently lost my Grandmother and this song is so perfect. She always said that the things you lose have a way of finding you again when you need them most. This song is perfect and illustrates how love grows and evolves but never leaves you no matter what.
How can people say the lyrics are forgettable??They are all such great songs! This song made me cry 😢 because I was thinking about my my aunt who died of breast cancer July of 2017 and we were so close I was so upset when she died and this song is very special to me.The lyrics are far from forgettable.
All this comments are so thoughtful. I was crying in the cinema when this came on as it made me think of my mother who died 2 years ago. I miss her so much but I believe she does still live on in me and I want to make her proud.
I love this song so much, I always get teary when I listen to it. It reminds me of my cat who died recently, she was my best furry friend, she was always there for me when I was sad. She was my first cat and I will always have a hole in my heart knowing that I'll never hear her sweet purr ever again. ❤
Awww so sorry about your loss 🥺💔 I just lost my cat last August and I miss him so much. He was always there for me my whole life up until he passed. I hope you are feeling better now 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️
I'm reminded of all those kids who lost parents or grandparents to Covid 19.. And this song reminds them that they haven't forever lost the. But they're still there for them!
I was in tears in the cinema when this beautiful song come on. My mom passed away 9 years ago and although I have alot more good days than bad I still miss her every day. "Gone but not forgotten is the perfect phrase" 💖.
My mom died a year ago of a rare and aggressive cancer. She died four months after her diagnosis. I miss her so bad. I need her so bad. She’s in the place where the lost things go. I know (I HAVE to believe) that I’ll see again one day. This kills me. You’re never too old to need your mommy.
I just watched this for the first time tonight with my cousins (on my dad's side). This made me cry because I lost my Papa (grandpa on my mom's side) in May. Then one of my cousins (who's only 8) said this song made her sad because of the grandpa she lost (not the same one I lost) a few years ago. I lost it but I didn't want to cry in front of them. I miss you so much, Papa.
This song literally makes me think of everything I've ever lost from stuff to people. I like how she says maybe now the dish and her best spoon are playing hide and seek just behind the moon. Makes me feel better.

I lost my grandmother shortly before watching this, I cried sitting in the cinema hearing this, it eased some of the grieve, and comferted me im happy i got to hear this, Rest in peace, Judy Campbell You where loved dearly enjoy heaven I'll see you again some time
Just listened to the blah Shallow from A Star is Born which will probably win the awards. And it is this song from Mary Poppin's Returns that makes me feel something. It sums up how a song can bring back memories of departed loved ones.
I love this song. It is really good. But so is that Shallow song from a star is born, i think they are both very good songs. I dont know which one i like more.
I was watching the movie with my grandparents, and sometime at the start of the year my grandfather had something happen to his brain or something, he recovered very well, but they are both old, and when I hear the song I can't help but think what if. Or, well, when if. I really love them and I hope they stay around for long.
Take advantage of the their presence because losing them will be one of the hardest things that you will have to deal with I just watched my grandmother get buried yesterday and it was hard it will take some time to recover.
@@breannadeleon8667 I'm so sorry for your loss I will do the best I can to be with them (corona time and everything) and I won't forget how lucky I am to have them
This song made me cry when I saw the movie in the theater and every time I hear it because I start thinking of my grandparents that passes away😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Same here. I honestly didnt care for the movie that much. This was the only thing that had the same kind of feeling you get from watching the original. Very similar to feed the birds. Both had very good and needed lessons. All the other songs I forgot about.
This is one of those songs that you know is special the first time you hear it. Perfect melody, lyrics, and voice that fit together like pieces of a puzzle.
This song makes me emotional because this song tells me about people that disappeared forever and now remains inside your heart and the memories you've shared. You can cry because they are lost but you can smile because they still remain in your heart and memories.
Today was my first birthday without my mom and her absence was omnipresent. If she was still alive, she would have celebrated me as awesomely as she always used to do. I remembered this song intensely along this day.
I saw this film today, and as I progressed through this song, I ugly-cried in my dining room. I remembered my dead paternal grandmother and all the good times I had. It really overwhelmed me.
Wow, this is right up there with “Remember Me” from Coco and “Wherever You Are” from Pooh’s Grand Adventure for some of the best sad Disney songs. I almost never cry watching movies but I honestly was when I went to see this in theaters. I lost my grandpa a year ago and this song describes how I feel perfectly
Everytime I hear this song I cry. It always reminds me of my grandma to died when I was 8. I've never been the same without her and I was so broken as a child after losing her that I actually started hoarding her belongings without even knowing it. But I kinda wish I had this song to listen to back then, it would have helped in those dark times. Even though it helps just enough today, the pain never really goes away yknow, you just kinda learn to let things go and understand that it'll never go back to the way things used to be.
I just lost my dad and granny within six weeks of each other,so this really means so much at this moment 💔 I guess the lost place is the heart, gone but not forgotten, to all that are feeling loss and grief memories will never go
I cried in the cinema, coz i lost my father at my birthday :") i was born at 2-10-2000 2.45 am and my father die at 2-10-2010 2.45pm. And it's like mary poppins told me they aren't go anywhere, but they will always see us be growing up :") ahhh..... really love this movie ❤❤

This is just the perfect song for youngsters who have lost loved ones to COVID 19 and rebuilding trust in the future - I have a very strong Chorister's instinct on this point. And it's telling me that it's the right scope. I may be a church chorister but I know that I'm right on it.
almost 2 years ago, i lost my uncle to cancer and a family friend (she was like an aunt to me) to copd. i fell into a really bad depression. i am a lot better now. i started this movie today. when i first heard this song, i immediately thought of them. this song is so comforting. love you two.
Back like a month before this came out my grandma (my dad's mom) passed away by cancer so I'm dad loves Mary Poppins so this movie came out at a great time
When the kid sings "Nothing's gone forever, only out of place", "out of place" is literally out of place in the music. It's on the second half of the beat. As a composer I think that's genius.
I always had loved this movie including this particular song because it really took me into my own past in my childhood years of growing up when I didn’t know of who I truly was as a person until now and it took me on a journey through my own life and it still has been tough of dealing with all of the drama and negativity that I’ve been through ever since I lost my best friend and it was my dad that actually suffered through cancer back in 2014 and I still miss him of the best memories I had with him and my other family relatives that are also not here anymore too
I feel like she’s making a reference to Peter Pan as she says “smiling from a star” and “place where lost things go” (never land, only way to get there is through the North Star, lost boys etc)
Im not trying to disprove your statement, which i wholeheartedly agree with it...but do you know that in one story of peter pan, the north star isnt the only way to get to Neverland? Its a series called "peter and the starcatchers" and in the last book "bridge to Neverland" it was revealed that the only way to get there is to get starstuff (same thing as pixie dust) go to the peter pan ride in Orlando Florida, and ride the ride a certain time, and then throw the starstuff in the eye of skull rock at a certain time. If you havent read the series i would really recommend it....im sorry, im a nerd. Especially with peter pan stuff.
I’m writing the song down cause at school in English we did something about this song so I decided to write it down on a peace of paper. I also wrote this song down because I’ve watched the film and this song nearly made me cry. So I wanted to write it after school today and I’m writing it now
This song is just so true to the very core, and this song reminds me of my mum xx Sadly today I've lost another baby hamster and I miss her so damn much xx
I feel your pain. I lost a guy friend for good. He's apparently a drug user and doesn't want anything to do with me. So, I was forced to say goodbye to him. I really loved him.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Shaiman and Wittman at their very best. As I was listening to the song while watching the movie, I was hearing "Second Hand Baby Grand" from SMASH that they also wrote. I think these tender, thought-provoking songs are what they excel at maybe more than anyone else. This is one that will be around for along time.
See this is why I love marry poppins this song is so heart touching I almost cried and this is a good example for people that has lost someone really important to them, and when someone is going through a hard time like there mom or dad or even grandma or grandpa died I and you maybe should sing part of this to them. I think it would help a lot.
Crying😥 amazing my fav from movie lost my job and my dog. This makes me sad but also glad that emily blunt sings it so well. Perfect for role mary poppins.
Lyrics for Translators: Do you ever lie Awake at night ... Just between the dark And the morning light, Searching for the things You used to know, Looking for the place Where the lost things go?
Do you ever dream Or reminisce ... Wondering where to find What you truly miss? Well maybe all those things That you love so Are waiting in the place Where the lost things go.
Memories you've shed Gone for good you feared ... They're all around you still Though they've disappeared; Nothing's really left Or lost without a trace, Nothing's gone forever Only out of place.
So maybe now the dish, And my best spoon, Are playing hide and seek Just behind the moon; Waiting there until It's time to show ... Spring is like that now Far beneath the snow, Hiding in the place Where the lost things go.
Time to close your eyes So sleep can come around, For when you dream you find All that's lost is found ... Maybe on the moon Or maybe somewhere new, Maybe all you're missing lives inside of you.
So when you need her touch And loving gaze, "Gone but not forgotten" Is the perfect phrase ... Smiling from a star That she makes glow, Trust she's always there Watching as you grow; Find her in the place Where the lost things go.
This song reminds me of the two people who died in my life, and of my best friend that I haven’t seen in a few months.... I feel like they are completely gone from my life, but they will always be there (well, my friend isn’t dead). “Maybe all you’re missing lives inside of you” really hit me hard though TvT
This song reminds me of the time when my Oma died back in 2018. She was really special to my mother and me. We even went to Galveston together before she passed

most songs are much better in their original language, especially songs like supercalifragilistiexpialidocious
however sometimes an another language adds something to it
in this case bravo to the french version that added spiritualityy and life after death and how to live our life here (with faith and hope despite the difficulties and life is not a bed of roses))
the french lyrics says their mother is leading them on a PATH OF ROSES to the place where they ll see at last where all things go (not LOST things, nothing is lost)
in the original books, mary and the kids travel to the moon, that s where the lost THINGS are (no mention of people who passed away and frankly who wants to spend eternity on the moon)
so I m glad that scene was not chosen for an animated sequence and they did that sweet lullaby instead, full of hope and spirituality (yes, I m a christian and not ashamed to say so but glad the song is for everybody, not just christians) and it s an answer to michael's question in the other touching song "conversation", and he gets the answer from the children, not directly from mary
the reprise of the song by the children later is the most touching parent/children moment in the whole history of cinema
where is that place?? are there winged angels? no mention of that, the film doesn t get preachy, it s probably different for each person anyway, and remember : mary never explains anything, that s what makes her so special and in our period of time when we tend to explain everything (midichlorians, really!!!!) I m relieved they didn t fall in that trap and even if wonderful emily blunt is not julie andrews, mary poppins is still mary poppins and the film is not the disaster critics had hoped it would be
Sammmmmmmmeeeeee
I cried through the whole thing and I'm original Mary Poppins fan, I was six when it came out and I still have the paper dolls. It was a wonderful love letter to the original. It's a success on its own merits and as a tribute.
this song made me cry about 3 times
This is a sweet song The Place Where Lost Things Go from Mary Poppins Returns and I like it and it's my 3rd favourite song in the film and on the soundtrack
Brought me to tears, since I'm an orphan.
Me too.💖 💖 💖 💖
Me to
I am an orphan 😢😭
I m still waiting for that dvd as I missed the movie in cinema
wrinkle in times is my favorite series of books along with mary poppins, narnia and oz
thanks for the quote, dear fellow movie nerd, welcome to the happy BBT gang !
I m a nerd, not a collector, toys belong OUT OF THE BOXES '(just ask woody and buzz)
and in mary poppins returns , a toy brings her back the kite, and later, another toy saves the day , the plush giraffe (sorry, spoiler)
ps don t throw away the boxes either ! they re so pretty I keep them separately, the box of the new mary poppins doll is to die for, with the balloons 'I
I know, I need a second house! to live like that you d better live with someone who either is as crazy as you are or really really loves you, or both (thank you, my Luc)
The last verse is what gets me. I lost my paternal grandmother 11 years ago and I still grieve.
I love this song so much, I always get teary when I listen to it. It reminds me of my cat who died recently, she was my best furry friend, she was always there for me when I was sad. She was my first cat and I will always have a hole in my heart knowing that I'll never hear her sweet purr ever again. ❤
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
WOW ! Was not expecting this in Mary Poppins Returns . Sobbed all the way through it . Lost my Dad Xmas 2017 . Great Lyrics ! uk
Wow. Never expected Mary Poppins to have a song about coping with the loss of a loved one.
Same here.
Lightening McQueen I can imagine someone singing this to Apple Bloom.
Agreed💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
She's like do you ever lie awake at night? Yes and I should really get to sleep cause I gotta wake up at 8:00!
Was played at my friend's funeral. Never seen the film but such a good and heartfelt song. 😭
Speechless,
It’s really touch my heart.
I close my eyes and heard this song.. it’s feels like Lullaby from mom.
My mom passed away 2 days ago, this song reminds me so much of her, love u mom💔
☹☹☹
My beloved dad passed away October 2022
Such a wonderful song!
This is a sweet song The Place Where Lost Things Go from Mary Poppins Returns and I like it and it's my 3rd favourite song in the film and on the soundtrack
Agreed.💚 💚 💚 💚 💚 💚 💚
I miss George Harrison.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I lost my grandmother shortly before watching this, I cried sitting in the cinema hearing this, it eased some of the grieve, and comferted me im happy i got to hear this,
Rest in peace,
Judy Campbell
You where loved dearly enjoy heaven I'll see you again some time
Just listened to the blah Shallow from A Star is Born which will probably win the awards.
Love your grandparents and spend time with them while they are still here....
@@MrUptownman2000 I will, thank you♥️
Take advantage of the their presence because losing them will be one of the hardest things that you will have to deal with I just watched my grandmother get buried yesterday and it was hard it will take some time to recover.
@@breannadeleon8667 I'm so sorry for your loss
I will do the best I can to be with them (corona time and everything) and I won't forget how lucky I am to have them
This song made me cry when I saw the movie in the theater and every time I hear it because I start thinking of my grandparents that passes away😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Karen Lynn thank you and remember what the song says, your grandmother is watching as you grow from a star that she makes glow🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I'm so very sorry. 😢 Hugs.💖
This is the only song for me that feels almost exactly like it could be from the original movie, and the only one yet to make me emotional...
Loved this song from the movie. The movie itself was delightful, beautifully done
Beautiful and sad. I love this song.
I miss George Harrison so much.😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢
I miss my beloved guy friend Guy 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
This song makes me cry every time... I have a lot of things going on in my life and have lost a lot of people, including my father.
This song makes me emotional because this song tells me about people that disappeared forever and now remains inside your heart and the memories you've shared. You can cry because they are lost but you can smile because they still remain in your heart and memories.
I never thought I'd be moved by Mary Poppins. Emily Blunt sang this beautifully.
Today was my first birthday without my mom and her absence was omnipresent. If she was still alive, she would have celebrated me as awesomely as she always used to do. I remembered this song intensely along this day.
Emily Blunt has a beautiful heart and voice. What a lovely song and score. This makes me think of my dear mother and father. Lovely
“and my best spoon”
*SPooNFUL oF SUgAr*
Everytime I hear this song I cry. It always reminds me of my grandma to died when I was 8. I've never been the same without her and I was so broken as a child after losing her that I actually started hoarding her belongings without even knowing it. But I kinda wish I had this song to listen to back then, it would have helped in those dark times. Even though it helps just enough today, the pain never really goes away yknow, you just kinda learn to let things go and understand that it'll never go back to the way things used to be.
Aww 🥺🥺 so sad but so true
I just lost my dad and granny within six weeks of each other,so this really means so much at this moment 💔 I guess the lost place is the heart, gone but not forgotten, to all that are feeling loss and grief memories will never go
Everytime i listen to this song, im in tears by the end! Such a beautiful song.
Yep this one had me in tears, I think we can all relate.
I cried in the cinema, coz i lost my father at my birthday :") i was born at 2-10-2000 2.45 am and my father die at 2-10-2010 2.45pm. And it's like mary poppins told me they aren't go anywhere, but they will always see us be growing up :") ahhh..... really love this movie ❤❤
vee chan I’m so sorry
I’m so sorry for your loss 😢😢😢😢
Was it October 2? Cause if it was February 10, he would of died when I was born!
I lost my mom exactlly 7 years ago today. This song brought me to tears when I first heard it and still does now.
Such a beautiful song - always makes me feel the feels lol! Emily Blunt is a goddess and slayed with the vocals in this movie
this song helps me through so much my dog got put down and I had her from such a young age and it made me realise she’s still here,in my heart and she’ll always be
This is just the perfect song for youngsters who have lost loved ones to COVID 19 and rebuilding trust in the future - I have a very strong Chorister's instinct on this point. And it's telling me that it's the right scope. I may be a church chorister but I know that I'm right on it.
I can't decide if this reminds me more of "Stay Awake" or "Feed the Birds".
I was trying to hold back my tears when this song came up
me and my friend saw this movie yesterday and we both started crying when the kids sang this song later in the movie
I lost my dog four years ago and hearing this song reminded me of her... I cried for about 12 minutes non-stop
almost 2 years ago, i lost my uncle to cancer and a family friend (she was like an aunt to me) to copd. i fell into a really bad depression. i am a lot better now. i started this movie today. when i first heard this song, i immediately thought of them. this song is so comforting. love you two.
I saw this movie tonight and this song made me cry cause it made me think of my grandma no longer here :(
This song just touches your soul.
I don't get tired of listening this somg
I'm tearing up right now. This song reminds me of my grandma who passed away 3 years ago :(
I know this song is sad to me too because my Dog 🐶 has just passed away so that is what reminds my family of our dog that has just passed away.
😭😭😭😭💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
beautiful song!! Emily's voice is so lovely!
This reminds me that I need to find who I truly am becuase who I used to be is hidden where the lost things go
I hope you on your way to finding out ❤ I'm on the same journey. I've kept the real me hidden away for so long, I've been trapped within my own skin.
This song makes me grieve about the loss of George Harrison. I know it's been years since he passed, but I just truly miss him.😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢 😢
I lost my nana September of 2013 when the So when you need her touch and loving gaze I lost it😢 i miss her so much she loved Mary poppins♥️
Back like a month before this came out my grandma (my dad's mom) passed away by cancer so I'm dad loves Mary Poppins so this movie came out at a great time
I love this song
This is one of my favorite songs from the film mainly because it helps those who have lost a loved one
Not to mention when someone you love whether relative/friend is far away for a long time
My grandmother never got to see this film but this song still reminds me of her..
I lost a lot of people in the few years I’ve been in college. This piece helps remember them
"Maybe all you're missing lives inside of you."
Nothing really dies if you remember them. Love is what is inside of you and love can never die.
When the kid sings "Nothing's gone forever, only out of place", "out of place" is literally out of place in the music. It's on the second half of the beat. As a composer I think that's genius.
This song hits hard and goes deep 🥺❤️😭
Beautiful song! Beautiful singer!
RIP mum and dad, I'll eventually find you again ❤
This movie came out very shortly after my grandmother died… that last verse really messed me up the day we watched this.
I always had loved this movie including this particular song because it really took me into my own past in my childhood years of growing up when I didn’t know of who I truly was as a person until now and it took me on a journey through my own life and it still has been tough of dealing with all of the drama and negativity that I’ve been through ever since I lost my best friend and it was my dad that actually suffered through cancer back in 2014 and I still miss him of the best memories I had with him and my other family relatives that are also not here anymore too
I teared up when I saw this part in the theater. So beautiful...
Ohhh I am teary! 🥺 Beautiful song!
Love this one song
I feel like she’s making a reference to Peter Pan as she says “smiling from a star” and “place where lost things go” (never land, only way to get there is through the North Star, lost boys etc)
hey, you re right ! any song about neverland in any version of peter pan always makes me cry
as does "over the rainbow"
Nice!
Jasmine Johnson yes I just made that reference since this song did make me think about Peter Pan
Hey if I remeber correctly there's another reference to Peter Pan in Can You Imagine That. Don't remember clearly but I think there is
I’m writing the song down cause at school in English we did something about this song so I decided to write it down on a peace of paper. I also wrote this song down because I’ve watched the film and this song nearly made me cry. So I wanted to write it after school today and I’m writing it now
This song is just so true to the very core, and this song reminds me of my mum xx
Sadly today I've lost another baby hamster and I miss her so damn much xx
I can’t wait for the karaoke version comes out so I can cover this. So much emotion. I love it!
Oscar 2019! ❤
My big brother died 12/September/16
I dedicate this to him, closest thing to a dad I ever had
See this is why I love marry poppins this song is so heart touching I almost cried and this is a good example for people that has lost someone really important to them, and when someone is going through a hard time like there mom or dad or even grandma or grandpa died I and you maybe should sing part of this to them. I think it would help a lot.
Crying😥 amazing my fav from movie lost my job and my dog. This makes me sad but also glad that emily blunt sings it so well. Perfect for role mary poppins.
Lyrics for Translators:
Do you ever lie
Awake at night ...
Just between the dark
And the morning light,
Searching for the things
You used to know,
Looking for the place
Where the lost things go?
Do you ever dream
Or reminisce ...
Wondering where to find
What you truly miss?
Well maybe all those things
That you love so
Are waiting in the place
Where the lost things go.
Memories you've shed
Gone for good you feared ...
They're all around you still
Though they've disappeared;
Nothing's really left
Or lost without a trace,
Nothing's gone forever
Only out of place.
So maybe now the dish,
And my best spoon,
Are playing hide and seek
Just behind the moon;
Waiting there until
It's time to show ...
Spring is like that now
Far beneath the snow,
Hiding in the place
Where the lost things go.
Time to close your eyes
So sleep can come around,
For when you dream you find
All that's lost is found ...
Maybe on the moon
Or maybe somewhere new,
Maybe all you're missing lives inside of you.
So when you need her touch
And loving gaze,
"Gone but not forgotten"
Is the perfect phrase ...
Smiling from a star
That she makes glow,
Trust she's always there
Watching as you grow;
Find her in the place
Where the lost things go.
This song reminds me of the two people who died in my life, and of my best friend that I haven’t seen in a few months.... I feel like they are completely gone from my life, but they will always be there (well, my friend isn’t dead). “Maybe all you’re missing lives inside of you” really hit me hard though TvT
I had to say goodbye to a guy friend for good. He was really special to me.😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭😭
This song reminds me of the time when my Oma died back in 2018. She was really special to my mother and me. We even went to Galveston together before she passed
This song keeps popping into my head as I’m saying goodbye to my Grandma
What is sad is that Abi Davies truly loved Tod but in order to protect him she had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Poor Alvin Seville Twilight Sparkle Charlie Watson and All Family Friends is Heroes starts out thinking that things is normal but slowly start to see that something is wrong but even he never expected that he would soon becomes a London.
Wonderful film. Very much about grief.
