I have a Shijie TLV classic P-90 that looks just like that, black with rosewood fretboard, a wonderful guitar and great sounding P-90 pickups!! Shijie guitars are rarely seen for sale used, and when they are the price is almost retail. They are far better guitars than Fender versions costing over twice as much imho.

Wow john me as well i had it for 2 weeks it was such a bad cough it would take the oxygen out of my head make me dizzy a cougjing rage and it made my back and stoche muscles sore from the coughing ugh just brutal glad we are almost done it ..wow just seen the shijie vid didnt know it was you covering it extra special my favorite demo guy keep it up bud Tim from london canada.

I have a friend going through a very difficult time and he had to sell his guitars to pay the bills. Been looking into a lot of guitars for one I could buy him that would be excellent out of the box and Shijie are some of the best sounding guitars I have ever heard at any price point. The quality of them also looks amazing at any price point. All the videos of people pulling the covers off and seeing the perfect shielding, wire management, and great hardware with perfect fret work out of the box. So so so good. Might have to pick a couple of these up for my friend and I.
The Yamaha Revstar Standard is probably the main competition for this guitar. I've owned several G&L ASATs over the years - and still own two - so I wouild probably lean towards the Yamaha (variety is the spice of life), but this one sounded great also.

Hey that's a great demo playthrough Jon! My friend and I were just talking yesterday about how chorus and other modulation effects aren't used too much these days. Us old guys gotta bring it back. 🤣 I still have my Shijie TLV-Pro Custom. I have a problem with the volume pot though and Deoxit didn't really work. Thinking of having someone put in the Fluence Gristle-tone set in the TLV-Pro. Just for that extra beef. Stay healthy Jon.
I can see myself playing slow heavy Doom riffs through a Stoneham Model T (Sunn clone), a V30 loaded 4x12 and lots of Fuzz with an octave with this guitar.

Very nice. I know Shijie is highly respected and I can see and hear why. I'm sure it's not cheap to buy but suspect it's considered a great value. I'd guess it's in the $1K and up range? (Edit) As of 11-05-23 on Shijie site, TLV P90 is $799 to $919 msrp depending on case or no, comes in five colors. Fender should be scared.
Sorry to hear you had and or are just getting over the flu Jonathan ...no fun. Annually for decades I get a flu vaccine. A pneumonia vaccine helpful too ! Been lucky so far but if one does get the flu even after being vaccinated, it's not as bad and at least recovery time is shorter. Playing gorgeous guitars can help with recovery as well ! ☺
I’ve never understood why they would put those silly adjusters on tele bridges , although mine seem to do the job , the bad notes I hit cover no intonation

They don’t understand carbon rods or guitars really but rarely do they say oh “it’s the same spec as a suhr pro series” Maybe I just mix in the wrong circles lol
@@JonIsJustTooLoud yeah, one of my Telles has a pair of SD humbuckers with a mahogany body/set neck. It can, but just doesn't have that old school country sound. I have a 25th anniversary HB Telle style that gets down right Buck Owens!😋
