    My style is whatever I feel like that day when I pick up my brush...
    I really don´t believe in rules when it comes to art, here, you are meant to break them and just express everything on your own terms, your own ways, as long as it comes from what you enjoy, it can´t be wrong :)
    LOVE the last one here, I´m a huge fan of fantasy art, so that one was my fave today 💜 but they all were beautiful :)
    Thank you for the inspiration 💜💜💜

    So glad this is going well. Sometimes i get so caught up in making something nice i forget to enjoy it. My favorite paintings are the ones i just relax and let it flow.

    Once again it would be great for those of us watching, for you to describe your specific steps of what you are doing with the paint and water, how you are applying or removing etc. Discribing your process as you do it instead your thoughts and philosophy on painting in general! Thanks again for your hard work and sharing your demos!

    Yes, in watercolor it seems like 1out of 4 will turn out okay . But with watercolor, it's fun and it's kind of fun letting the paint do it's own thing. I find the process before you paint to be more difficult(the planning)

    • @PaintingwithJane
      @PaintingwithJane  3 роки тому +3

      Yes, planning can be super challenging with watercolor. That's why I just don't do it 😂

    My 86 year old dad is an artist. His analogy for your primers is that the discarded paintings are like the vegetables you put in the stock pot to make stock for soup. The soup is delicious because the stock is delicious and that’s down to the discarded veg. Hope that makes sense. It’s an analogy I really like.

    • @PaintingwithJane
      @PaintingwithJane  3 роки тому +1

      I love that analogy SO much! Please tell him thank you for me, and I hope you don't mind I share that!

      @@PaintingwithJane please feel free!! We all love a tasty soup. 😘. If you could credit bill Jenkins, I can show him and that would make an 86 year old artist very happy. As a child, and a boy, he was forced to abandon art for science and maths. He became an inventor and made a ‘particle sizer’ which is a very important thing. He told me he’d always wanted to be an artist. Now he’s retired, he is. X

    HI Jane, been a long time. Just trying to catch up on some of your videos. One thing I've noticed is you didn't mention the difference between acrylic and watercolor. You know as in acrylic you put down the dark and then highlight with the light, and in watercolor, it's the opposite. You put down the light colors then enhance the picture with the dark images. It was easy for me because I had done watercolor for about 2 years before I ventured into acrylic. but still love doing both. Hope to catch up with you soon. Tell Vince I said hello.

    • @PaintingwithJane
