I really like just listening to your voice while you are painting these. I think you give us a lot of really good advice - and you speak from the heart. Watching these are extremely therapeutic for me....Thank you
Simply stunning, pure enjoyment, thank you 😊
Many thanks and many blessings Jane 💞💕💖💗
Love all the trees. Thank you so much for sharing.
These are lovely Jane! Thanks for sharing. I’m grappling with a massive landscape at the moment and watching you make these lovely trees has geed me up to crack on!!!
Such a fun playing with water and colours. different painting acryl
🙏 for inspirations
So amazing watching you by doing waterpaint Started painting with you, lovely Jane, with palette knife "walk in the rain" and since that time I'm painting acryl and I love it. But now I'm fascinated of watercolor too Looking forward to see your following arts 🤩
I literally want to drop everything and try a greyscale watercolor!
Yay, friend! I hope you do! 😍
I started doing watercolor and I am LOVING it! I love how loose it is. It really relaxes me
I'm so glad you're loving watercolor!! It really is a great way to relax
Superbe, que dire de plus !,😀😀🎨❤❤
I like how you use the gouache white as a blending medium... I've always used it just as a highlighter at the end but dang! Didn't I just learn something!!! Thank you!!
I'm so glad you liked that! I hope you try it, too!
I love watercolor and I look forward to seeing more from you
I love to see you evolving!!
I heard Mr Moon! Hi Mr Moon!
Hi Jane, ever tried drizzling salt over wet water colour? Gives some fantastic effects. I love doing that with winterly paintings.
I've done a little bit of that, but never really got the look I was going for. It's really not something I've done a ton of, though, so I'm sure I'll experiment with it more in the future :)
@@PaintingwithJane Try Rock nSalt, lay it flat until dry. Think to work from very light to dark. You use normal salt on the darkest areas. Always works a treat for me. I love salting water colours. Salt is the essence of life and with water colours to get what you exactly wanted is a high goal to set. I just enjoy them in the way you did in painting One of this marathon ;-)
Oh wow, I have missed you!!
Yes! Paint for yourself
I really like the last one you did here, I can see a lot of faces in it, both creepy and beautiful :)
My watercoloring still looks like shait, but I´m not giving up, as long as I put some color on a page, at least I´m doing something! :D the water ratio is a mind fart for me.....how to get the color to spread....but, I´m working on it :)
Thank you for sharing 💜
I keep trying water colour and I keep saying, “no way do I get this”! Sigh. But it’s fun to try. I will look forward to some basic beginner oil paintings at some point It’s great to hear from you again and I enjoy your focus of teaching not for us to just copy, but to inspire us to expand our own creativity
I'll help you, friend. Sometimes watercolor is really hard for acrylic artists to wrap their minds around, but once you stop being afraid and realize that the paint is in control, it's so fun! Also, yes, oil is coming too 😁
Nice video interesting how your paint flows so lovely I worry about adding too much water what kind of salt is used on paintings
No need to worry about using too much water with watercolor! You can't over-soak your paper, and you can very easily remove excess water. I promise I'm going to show you how very soon :)
😀
Did you take water color classes or teach yourself?
All self-taught :)
How do we move pass wanting feedback?
I don't think we ever move past that. What I think changes is the type and quality of feedback we seek. I see a lot of beginners ask for feedback from general groups of people they don't know or friends and family. The more experienced, confident arts seeks feedback from artists that they know and respect. The feedback you get is so different then, too. Friends and family are more likely to give feedback not based on artistic knowledge and they tend to want to be nice. Strangers have no skin in the game and may say things that are taken personal and as rude. Once you've built a relationship with an artist you know and respect, the feedback you get is much more knowledgeable and constructive. I, for example, have only a small handful of artists I ask for feedback from. I know them and their art and I respect their opinions. I don't know if that exactly answers your question. Let me know if I was totally off base with my answer 😊
@@PaintingwithJane Thank you Jane for your response. What I should have asked, how do we move past “fearing” feedback and letting loose with our brush? Welcome back; you have been missed!
