      Thank you so much. An important lesson. Wanted to ask that 2nd layer dries and then only 3rd layer. Or we can proceed with it damp? Regards

    Thank you very much for this tutorial. Even when I follow your tutorials for several months, I appreciated this video, and I learned that it is not necessary to let dry the second layer! I even had before this impression, that in between the second and the third layer there is or can be a smooth transition. I observed this especially in your landscapes aquarelles, but also in other ones ...

    Hi Nitin. Peter from Noosa Australia. I have used the layer technique on a lot of watercolours. Your instruction will be of great help to a lot of artists that get a bit lost in watercolour. Keep up your good work, you will have a loyal following.

    Hello, Nitin. It seems there was no down time between the second and third layers, eh? I appreciate this style of learning and I imagine at some point they blend together as it becomes intuitive and takes on a flow of its own. I am a rank beginner and a slow learner to boot, so I imagine this will take me plenty of time, LOL! Cheers to you and thank you for your excellent videos!

    Hi ! This simplier explanation make me want to take your class even more....
    But, please tell me when you add the last 4 th drawing with details... So for this last one, is there also a 'waiting to dry' step ? It is nor mentioned. I just want to be very sure for the last waiting dry section...
    Thanks so much !

    • @NitinSinghwatercolorpaintings
      @NitinSinghwatercolorpaintings  4 роки тому

      You can do either way in last layer. Depending on how much work you feel left for last layer. If no much work involved in last layer then try to finish it your third layer without waiting second layer to get dry. Hope you got me

    • @NitinSinghwatercolorpaintings
      @NitinSinghwatercolorpaintings  4 роки тому +1

      Ideally you should let them dry too, but most cases if you don’t see much touch up in third layer then you can finish your third layer while second layer is still wet. I’m using graphite 6B pencil

    Waves @ Nitin! Thanks for this video! I am practicing layering now, and use many layers with different water/paint ratios, glazing. I often use wet in wet, dry, then go in wet on dry...no special rhyme or reason, but more intuitive a process, do you know what I mean? I see your brush strokes often seem intuitive as well. If you ever made a video about it, I'd love to see it.
