Aw thanks Darryll. The camera is really good at getting those close up jobs. Not the best with the auto focus in a live environment but in monitor mode it's really great.
This watch brings back good memories! The first watch I had as an adult was a bumper movement. The feel on your wrist is unique!

I do like vintage watches they are from the era when almost everything is made for the eternity. That’s why they still exist after 60-70 years. I have a Roamer from the late 40’s with a mechanical unitas movement. I bought it from a paint artist who is also an avid watch collector. It wasn’t the cheapest piece but the price reflected on the shape. The watch went through a complete overhaul including a case and a dial restoration. Looks like brand new.
Oooo that sounds nice. I bet the full refurb must have set you back a bit as that's a lot of work. I do agree with you though. Vintage watches are timeless and fully wearable today. As long as you look after them they will look after you.
Brilliant workmanship. Looks so easy when an expert does the work. A lot of experience to achieve that level. Excellent commentary. The photography displayed all aspects. A lot of work by you in the editing. Pleased to be one of your subscribers. Wonderful 'give away' project.

Yes been waiting for your video Omega is my brand had 3 of them speedmaster, Seamaster 300 bond co-axil and Seamaster NZL-32 great watches bullet proof last forever and look great like the date at 6 or 12 and dial colour
Yeah it took me a while to getting around to making this one. I really wanted to wait until the next scope cam arrived. Definitely made a difference I believe 👍🏻

Thanks Eric, it is easier in monitor mode as I can edit out all of the focal adjustments. I do have to manually click to focus though.

I bought a 1955 Omega Seamaster last year. So thin and light! The back-and-forth bump of the automatic winder is quite noticeable at times, especially when it winds down. But I like it more than my 1979 Datejust. Nice video!

The new camera is great - I watched carefully as you assembled the balance jewels; on camera it looks so easy, I always need around 6 goes. Either the chaton and jewel are not aligned so the jewel pokes out one side, or something goes wrong. So back in the solvent, add the dab of oil try again. I must be doing something wrong because it's not getting easier, grrrr.
