Or is that him using triggers? I was told years and years ago that what triggers is. But when I did my research I found out that they use triggers for sound. I'm not a drummer at all but I hope your are or know about them to shed some light on his kick drum for me.
@@kevinblum4454 they don't really make you faster. all they do is make it not sound like muddled shit at higher BPMs. evgeny has perfect heel toe technique anyway so he really is that fast.

I've always known your a fantastic drummer but this cover is just next level and I will never doubt again! That section starting at 4:50 is where I was thinking it would get a bit sloppy and off but not at all. Super fucking clean and mad impressive my man. Fellow Canadian here as well.
