I bought one - it took 5 months for them to deliver and then it had broken mounts at the tightening screws. 3 months later I finally got the replacement parts but they also replaced the main board. So I had an extra board that was totally useless. I ordered some extension parts and have been waiting 6 months for those and I still haven’t received them yet. My advice buy this only if you don’t mind waiting 6-7 months for delivery. Also the company takes a few weeks to get back to you and only can be contacted through email. Good luck.

Wow, it sounds like they are overwhelmed. I have a cheap power tower from Amazon that does the trick, but thinking of upgrading to a sturdier one. Baseblocks just released a pull-up / dip combo bar now too for the same price as this. It’s not portable though.

@@AlexA-ri5yohows it holding up still? I'm contemplating buying one, but will only use during workouts and then mainly stay in storage. Is it easy to use and is it sturdy enough? I've got 90" cielings so im also wondering now how much head clearance I need.

Love how she skipped over the prices 😅. Presumably, they sent this to her for free? Any how, this base model with the base and pull-up/dip bars is $399 right now though I am fairly certain it was listed at $450 a little bit earlier this year; if you want the height extender for the bar, you're looking at $99; as she showed you, the portability bag is $69.99; resistance band accessories are $69.99; there are stability clamps to be added to the pull-up bar optionally available for $64.99; easy grip pull up bar optionally available for $59.99; steadfast feet available for additional stability optionally available at $59.99; if you want to keep your apparatus assembled, there is an outdoor elements cover available for $89.99; etc . . .

Wow! This woman is strong! And beautiful too! -That pullup/dip exercise gadget looks nice, but it seems only worthwhile if you plan on using the gadget for its portability feature. $400 looks like a fair price if you use this gadget in different locations often. Otherwise, you might be better off putting some anchors in your ceiling and attaching rings to the anchors.

Great video and I really appreciate your very informative videos. I would assume that this Home Gym is on the higher price for, most people, given the fact that these days we pay so much more for basics home expenses. Amazon Canada has a similar Home Gym for $199 CDN so it is probably less than $150 USD, and it has all the accessories included.
Keep up the amazing work you are doing and those great videos!!

Nice review on what looks like a useful product. Two points I wish you had covered, first cost, and second design weight limit. On the weight limit besides informing the buyer/user what is an acceptable upper weight of the potential user may be, but also is an indicator of the “sturdiness” of the product. Another point what is the warranty on it. Thanks for a thoughtful review.

I just brought one and I agree with summer it is a quality product. My only issue I have found is the size or thickness of the bar when doing pull ups. Have have small hands and found I can do more sets at the gym as the bars there is smaller in diameter so I can wrap my hands round properly to grip. I haven't let this deter me so I purchased some grip tape and will use this as extra hand training.

    • @Summerfunfitness
      @Summerfunfitness  5 місяців тому +3

I definitely experience the same thing with my tiny hands. I can't rep out as many pull-ups due to the thicker bar, but like you, I just think it'll make my hands stronger.
You should try using powdered chalk on it; it feels so good. Highly recommend.

Try to think if "Angles 90" or its clones can help you. They are handles with slots where you can pass a very resistant nylon strap, allowing for rotating grips. They have a reduced diameter and are ergonomic. The original ones are expensive, but the clones are not.

It seems stable and at the same time heavy to transport. I have been using "Pull Up Mate" for years; perhaps it is more economical but less stable during significant oscillations. "Pull Up Mate" has additions for pull-ups and dips. I don't know if this product has them at the moment. I think that the "muscle up" is very dangerous to perform on both. "Pull Up Mate" rusts in the rain; I'm not sure about this one.

Those push up bars that move around that you mentioned at the end.. You can get a 3 foot long 2x4 and drill two holes in it at the proper distance and that should keep them in place / They have drill bits that make large holes such as ones for drilling into a door where the door handle goes

I'm wondering if this equipment it weather resistant. If I left it outside and it rained, would that ruin it?

Thanks for the thorough review Summer. I'm wondering if this would be sturdy and heavy enough to use with rings... 🤔

I use rings on it 3 days per week for iron cross training: ua-cam.com/video/cO19FGkfUWE/v-deo.html

@@Summerfunfitness Ah, yes, I did see that! More specifically, I would love to know if other ring exercises that have the rings and straps pulling on the bars at an angle are doable. Will the pull-up bar stay upright? Or will it wanna topple over? Things like ring back rows, ring bicep curls, etc, done with your body at around a 45 degree angle

When this thing first came out in 2021 it was 250 dollars. Now it’s close to 500 which is insane

The bars for dips/parallel bars from looking at you performing on them look very short. If they could modify them to come out another two feet might be better.

I ended up buying the baseblocks parallel bars and not the fit home gym… the way, they constructed it, it does not adjust easily at all much less tear down easily. After watching your video, I’m going to post the face blocks bars up on the marketplace and get the fit home gym. It looks like it goes up and down quite easily

i don't have one, i'm doing my research on, but another guy said he wouldn't recommend, as it can be a bit wobbly and unstable

I think it's better to get a LAT pulldown machine. Not everyone is ready to do pull-ups.
With the pulldown machine you can start with a small amount of weight, then gradually add more and more as you get stronger.
You can buy a decent one for less than $175. Then you need to buy the weights. Buy a couple 25LB weights to get started.
