If you don't want to hear us discuss and compare this with the original series, then this reaction might not be for you. We are huge fans of ATLA, so it's only natural for us to compare scenes with the original. There are plenty of other reactions from people who haven't seen the original that you can watch.
Like we've mentioned, we accept most changes, but there are others we don't necessarily agree with. Nonetheless, we are still enjoying the series and we hope you are too. Flameo! 😉
You know I understand where you guys are coming from. But why this is my favorite episode is because it is showing them dealing with their own trauma and Aang finally having it explained that it's not his fault. I hope we get a season 2
Flameo dear ladies.
We respect that! Crossing our fingers for a season 2 🤞🏻🥹
@@MeeshDeeReacts Have you watched the cast interviews before watching the Netflix ATLA ? very good helped me not make a comparison between shows.
You're doing good. I've seen worst from other reactors who are like reacting and reviewing it simultaneously missing big chunk of the show and then wonders what happened. Unlike you guys who are still interested to finish the show and then review it later after the show as it should be. I don't mind if you like it or not. We all have different opinions.
ozai is gas lighting azula, to motivate her even more, genius lol
yknow what's more sadder, the fact gyatso probably waited for aang for like a hundred years in the spirit world to just tell him he didn't do anyth wrong 😭 aaaah
If anag didn't sleep gystso would have been guiding him and helping him over come the truma
Damn yall caught Yue FAST lol! I did not get that at all until later.
I seem to be in the minority, but I'm a fan who LOVED this episode. This is actually one of my favorites, below ep6 but tied with the finale. I think it's actually BECAUSE this episode went so off the wall bonkers that this became the moment when it was solidified for me that this is an ADAPTATION, not a remake and I stopped comparing and actually became EXCITED by the changes and excited to have no idea how this was going to resolve. I didn't mind the changes and it became really fun for me!
The ending scene and monologue from Gyatso certainly helped leave off on a good note because it was SO BEAUTIFUL! I had to go back and listen to his words again.
I've seen some reactions from newcomers who loved it too.
Hey John! I think we were able to catch on that it was Yue bc that’s who Sokka sees at the Swamp 😂
We appreciate you always giving your honest opinions. Glad this episode worked for you. Although we didn’t like too much of the spirits merging we loved aangs moment with gyatso. We were definitely tear bending but it wasnt in this edit 😅 -M
Everything Azula does is a result of how she idolizes her father. The obsession with being perfect, the ruthlessness, and the use of fear as a weapon. That is why her true breaking point is when He leaves her behind at the end of book 3. Seeing him use that to manipulate her this season to turn her into the character we are used to makes sense
Absolutely
I think the Azula change is interesting showing her as a product of Ozai's emotional abuse as much as Zuko is. In the animated series, she was more a villain caricature, more maniacial and straight up sociopath.
2 scenes that make me cry in this episode: how Katara lost her mom, that’s really sad. Also when Aang finds Gyatso. That scene. 🥺❤️
Those 2 scenes 🥹😭🙏🏽
@@MeeshDeeReacts ❤️💔🥺
The reason Koh is so frightening is because you can't make a facial expression in front of him. Most monsters you try to escape from - Koh? Forget running. You can't even flinch. Removing that really guts the essence of what made him so freaky in the original.
100000%
Agreed. I'm ok with the change, but I wish they didn't. I'd guess it's because they're going more into it later and they needed to change things up but who knows.
Not really, he's still creepy
If anything, the change made him 1000 times more terrifying and dangerous. Reliving your worst parts of the life, trapped in that memory all while being consumed by Koh. That's true horror
Well not necessarily. He still preys on you showing your emotions and when Katara and Sokka's memories haunt them, their reaction to it is how he catches them
I have a lot of thoughts on this episode, and I kind of agree with your sentiment, but I think some things were fine, like I'm ok with Wan Shi Tong being there because I could totally see him still spending most of his time in the library but also crossing over now and then. I think Ozai is just playing with Azula because he knows she is capable of more, if he always told her she was perfect she'd stop progressing, so this kind of thing probably would have had to happen in the original series we just didn't see it, although I would like if Azula was less whiny and insecure about it and acted more like Azula in s2 e1 where she is practicing lightning bending and is just overly obsessed with her own perfection. I do think it would've worked better if Hei Bai had stolen Katara and Sokka, and Aang had to follow them into the spirit world to save them because that's how other humans get into the spirit world and I don't like that Aang was somehow able to take them with him. The change of Koh is my least favorite because it takes most of the fear out of him, he's still really creepy and him hunting in the fog of lost souls is fine, but it takes a lot away from the character where you can show emotion in front of him and be totally fine. I do like showing the source of Sokka's insecurities, up until this point I thought it was an odd choice to have him so unsure about being a warrior, but I like giving him this flaw and overhearing his father saying he won't make a good leader, is something he can overcome in the next seasons. My favorite thing was definitely Gyatso giving up enlightenment just to talk to Aang and give him some final guidance, as this is not a new concept, very spiritual humans are able to remain in the spirit world (if you know you know) But overall I think this episode, along with many others, suffers from having too much thrown into it. I get that they want to include as much as they can, but it makes some episodes feel crammed and busy, if they had planned for ten episodes they could've stretched it out and I think it would've felt much better, or at least had more "rumors" mentioning stuff had happened but was skipped over, like the pirates and great divide mentioned in this episode. Also with them taking stuff from season two of the animated, I think that's going to trade places with episodes like Imprisoned, The Fortuneteller, and The Deserter which could fit nicely later in the story, after we've seen more of the war and Kataang has progressed more.
Ryu Iskandar who play Lieutenant Jee is an Indonesian actor 😊🇮🇩
Awesome! We didn’t know that!
The Fog of Lost Souls isn't in nor introduced in Avatar The Last Airbender. It's not and not the same as the visions or mirages of the past and future that Katara, Sokka, and Aang saw, listened, witnessed, and experienced in The Swamp or The Foggy Swamp. You'll maybe or probably know and learn about The Fog of Lost Souls in another time.
They portray Azula as insecure as building blocks to how she became a perfectionist & how she became as cold/calculating as we see her in season 2 & 3.
(As we can see, Ozai tears her & her talents down, leading to her always having to be "perfect". And once she's able to be free and out from under her father's thumb in season 2, you begin to see the confident & calculating nature that we're used to her having)
We weren't really supposed to see her this season, so seeing her build-up & past as context for her future is really cool, imo.
I'm looking forward to next season, but specifically for Azula & Zuko.
I believe Sakka and Katara were brought to the spirit world because of the angry forest spirit. They were dragged in like the other lost villagers.
That does make sense!
Koh was feeding off hei bei's despair, and him being a gateway to the living, just to consume the villagers.
@@MeeshDeeReactsthis is also a reference to the episode where Sokka and Katara get sick and Aang is looking for a cure- leading into the situation that happens in the next (live action) episode that you’ll see
Would've been nice to have seen that then or revealed it later, instead of just being like "I guess it was Aang" and never revisiting it
Good to know George Takei came to voice Koh
I'd still like to see him come back as that warden maybe next season
I was so eager to see this episode. I instantly thought about what your reactions would be for some of these scenes
We appreciate you watching with us 🥹❤️
22:36 lol I love how nonchalant Dee says “good thing I brought my tissues”. They weren’t needed after all but still funny.
I liked this episode. Got to tap into the backstory of Katara and Sokka to flesh them out a bit. Got some creepy vibes from Koh. I am not a super fan of the cartoon (though I do like it) so I don’t have a lot emotional ties to it so it doesn’t bother me when they shift the story around for this series. Though I can understand how super fans can feel discombobulated with all the changes in this episode so it’s not surprising it isn’t a favorite.
Great reaction as usual.
Wan Shi Tong still can be in the library. There is no reason why he can't cross into the Spirit World every now and then. 🧐
exactly my thoughts
June is so badass, I like her
Love June and the actress 😍🤩🔥
June killed it forsure 😎
100!! 🙏🏽🤩
I think Azula's insecurities will be the reason for her mental downfall in the future.
Right now I would prefer if she was less openly insecure and more just overly obsessed with her own perfection like in the original, not that she wasn't also insecure on the inside she just refused to show anyone to keep up appearances. But I am interested to see where they take this.
Watched it with a first timer and this episode made sense to them 🤔 I personally really liked how they mixed it all in
tbh, the live action has it's flaws but it's not the worst thing unlike other people say. there's still room for improvement in season 2 and hopefully the writers and actors (*cough* katara) listens to the criticisms. I don't want the la to be cancelled coz i still wanna see masterbender katara, especially the hama episode hehehe. can't wait for you guys to watch korra!!!!
Yess to all of these things!! Really hoping for S2 and on so we can watch the characters and storylines grow 😊
We’ll be posting Korra in the coming weeks 🤩
I also actually really like the Azula development. It contextualizes why she's so cruel to her brother and foreshadows how absolutely unhinged she'll eventually become! I like seeing her flame turn bluer as her rage grows too. I just wish it was a little less subtle.
Honestly as I keep watching the series I do understand the development! We break it down in the next videos.
@@MeeshDeeReacts Cool! Yeah I actually have started loving this show more as I rewatch by myself and via react channels. :)
22:21 Look, he found Tom Bombadil !
Having watched this series as it’s own story with the Animated characters in mind, the show runners for this series explicitly said they were not going to include the time window of Sozin’s Comet. An animated character can be 10yrs old for 20 years while real actors don’t have that luxury.
Many fans have commented on how they dislike the introduction of team Azula so early and it’s a fair observation. Going back to the time restraints on the omission of the comet, we could get a time jump for season two and they can retcon some of the backlash by having a more experienced and confident Azula who’s been on her own for a few years reunite with Mai and Ty Lee in the form of returning them like she did in the animated series.
I agree with you guys 100%. They can deviate from the story a little bit and add their own unique twists, but the character developments, character arcs, main conclusions should not change and they are not doing a good job in that. The best adaption from an anime/video game to a real life adaptation would be The Last of Us. HBO does the best adaptations.
THAT PART^ 🙌🏽 💯
Also, we love The Last of Us too! Can’t wait til S2 comes out next year. We’ll definitely want to react to that 😊
I will say, Azula was always insecure, they decided to make it clearer sooner in this episode
Meesh & Dee Awesome Video/Episode Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
Thanks for watching with us!! ❤️🙏🏽
It wasn’t confusing for me when I saw the owl in the spirit world because in the original when Aang sees Toph in the fog. Aang said that person in his vision tells him, he will meet her later.
Avatar just got renewed for season 2 and 3!!!!
LFG!!! The ATLA universe continues 🤩 can’t wait to watch those with yall! ❤️
Okay, how exactly couldnt Wan shi tong wander the spirit world? He is a spirit. He obviously has the freedom to roam around the spiritworld whenever. Especially since he took the library TO the spiritworld in ATLA.
Another great reaction. I think the introduction of Wan Shi Tong is the one major change that I disliked in this series. I just wasn't necessary and felt like filler. With that said, I do like the episode as a whole. Really can tell the actors are coming into their own and getting more comfortable with their roles.
Agreed, didn’t really feel necessary to put WST in the forest. I feel like he belongs in his library to protect all of the knowledge 🥹📚 Thanks for watching with us!

The fog of lost souls is something introduced in Korra.
So?
I really appreciate you both being honest about your opinions of this show, I know a lot of people who really liked it wanna tell you otherwise. Thanks for the reaction!

Imho I feel like the creators of this live action crammed certain characters and scenes from other seasons into this first season because they weren’t sure if they were going to be green-lit for additional seasons. Is it right? Meh, that’s debatable. Personally I would’ve preferred they kept certain characters/scenes out so they’d be a surprise for the other seasons, and be more organic. But do I understand it…? …yeah. Part of the film world. *shrug* still appreciate this series way more than the first film, and love the reactions! ☺️
In complete agreement with you here, Dorothy!! 😊 thanks for always watching with us and your insight ❤️
My favorite and most memorable scene is ang was trying to play stuck up with katara...😂😂😂😂 good old days
When Sokka teaches him to act “aloof” hehehe 🤣🤣
I don’t want too spoil anything but they’ve shown people being pulled into the spirit world in the avatar universe before
The Fog of Lost Souls interesting how they took an idea from The Legend Of Korra. Please don’t let Dee see this don’t wanna spoil anything for her.
You'll get to know The Fog of Lost Souls later on in LOK
Hey Avatar Meesh and Avatar Dee how it been. I hope your day has been going well. "Happy Tuesday". Another great episode. I like it when Sokka sees the little girl and the name he uses to name the doll "Pippinpaddle Oppsokoplis" as a call back to when Aang and the gang meet Bumi during the dinner scene. As Aang, Katara and Sokka helped the village, who people had been kidnapped by the spirit.
The Firelord Ozai and Azula scene is interesting as he shows Zuko respect over Azula as he admires Zuko his resilience and dedication to which Azula isn't to please. As she was about to kill the trainer. We finally get to see Hakudo, Bato, and June, in which I'm impressed with the casting of this show. As well as the CGI of Shirshu.
Aang, Katara, and Sokka end up at a shrine that sent them into the spirit world as they meet the Wan Shi Tong, who I feel they did an excellent job on the CGI. As he warned Aang of tge danger of the Spirit world and what effect it will have on Katara, Sokka, and other humans. As he warned them to stay on the path. As they encountered the Hei Bai spirit that Aang figures out the spirit attack is because it in pain. As we are introduced to the face stealer Koh.
I feel bad for Aang, Katara, and Sokka as the fog showed them their worst fears with Katara reliving the events of her mother passing. Sokka finds out his father is disappointed that Sokka may not become a great leader. Aang sees Monk Gyatso again, but instead of sadness, he gives Aang closure as he doesn't blame Aang for not being there when the Firenation attack the Airnation Temple. It is also nice that we get the chance to see Avatar Roku. Now, Zhao receives the letter and service of the Yuyan archers. But anyway I hope you two have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing.
Hey Avatar Rob! Thanks for watching with us 😊🙏🏽 one of the changes I wish they made was to keep WST in the library … sigh it’s ok! Maybe they’ll elaborate more on the library in S2 🙏🏽
Have an amazing day!
-D
@MeeshDeeReacts Thank you and I will. Avatar Rob 😁 I agree I wish they included the library, but we will have ymto see what they have planning for season 2. But I hope the rest of you two day is enjoyable 😁
To see sorry big fingers using the phone😂
I understand that putting karata and sokka in the spirit world was not the best cause of how one usually is supposed to get into the spirit world, but I also understand the showrunners needing to give them some character development somehow in the limited time. A reason to care about them I guess. Idk.
Koh scared my 12 year old. 😂
Koh scared me too 😂😂
-D
Hi again!!!
I must say that I don't really mind the changes made in this version, and it's probably because they are ingeniously combining elements from different stories from different seasons that occur in the universe of the animated series, which leads them to save time and resources, and that for a live action series it is very important, since it is much more expensive and complicated to make than a 2D cartoon.
For example, instead of having one chapter dedicated to Sokka and Katara being incapacitated and delirious from fever, another where Sokka is missing, and another where the trio has to face their past fears, they decide to combine them at once in an organic way, and, at least for me, it works very well.
Furthermore, the inclusion of the Fog of Lost Souls doesn't bother me either, since that is an element of the lore that appears in The Legend of Korra, and if it exists there then there is no reason why it shouldn't here, it is the same universe so they are the same rules.
I admit that the inclusion of Wa Shin Tong was quite unexpected, but taking into account that he is a powerful spirit it is not too strange that he can travel between the real world and the spirit world at will. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't remember that in the animated series it was said that his presence was linked exclusively to the library, and he also served as an exposition character for the plot and I can't imagine anyone better for that than the guardian of knowledge.
As for Azula, from my perspective, we are seeing her Beta version, since she is still in the process of perfecting her skills, and this is seen because her manipulations are still evident to her father, in addition to the fact that her flames are not yet blue or she doesn't even know how to channel rays yet, which leads me to think that in the following seasons we will be able to see her in all her splendor.
I must say that, although It doesn't mark my childhood because I saw it for the first time in my early twenties, and that was fifteen years ago (I feel very old writing that hahaha), Avatar is one of my favorite series of all time, the which from time to time I go back to see to delight myself like the first time with that wonderful world and its characters, and I think that is the main reason why I am liking this live action version so much, because I don't need to see a decal frame by frame, that's why the original animated series already exists. The greatest attraction I find is seeing in what ingenious way they manage to combine pre-existing elements, in what way it will surprise me, what characters interact with each other that I didn't think could happen, or what places they could visit. That is why, as long as it is creative and has its logic and coherence, the changes will not bother me, but will keep me expectant by not knowing exactly what will happen, and that an adaptation manages to do that is something admirable.
Again, a great reaction for you both, I can't wait for episode 6!!! Greetings from Argentina!!!
You're going to love episode 6!
The whole fog thingy with Katara and Sokka getting captured felt like a very weird replica of a particular storyline from season 2 of Korra (not going into details to avoid spoilers!!!). From the spirits we meet, and even seeing Aang interact with his mentor, everything felt veryyyyy similar to things that happened in Korra, which makes ZERO sense to me. I personally didn't even realise that the writers were referencing the swamp episode from the original Last Bender series until I watched your reaction... Maybe i'm the only one who made that connection, idk, but they (once again) missed the mark with this ep in my opinion.
I totally agree! There was a lot of unnecessary merging and add ons -M
Sokka's dating attempt here was actually Ty Lee. Referring when they flirted in the original series
no way!! i didn’t realize that
but azula, mai and ty lee are in the capital tho?
@@Rhylo777 in this series, yes. In the animation the fire nation girl he flirts with is Ty Lee
This is one of my favorite episodes at first I didn’t like the changes but koh was scary and I loved that change because it felt like a whole new show…. This is my second or third time watching so I came to really like it. Also I’m new here y’all are great ❤

It’s ironic here that June is hitting on Iroh, since it was the opposite in the animated series.
Hi so, I actually benched watched all of your atla related reactions and I was wondering if you guys will be reacting to the legend of korra after this live action series ? Btw I enjoyed watching ur reactions because when I first watched it we had very similar reactions which was fun to watch. Keep doing reaction vids meesh and dee ❤❤
To be fair, Gordon was 11 when they started filming, and Kiawentiio 14. It's not that big a difference in the grand scheme, but when you're that young, even acting out little kid crushes are probably going to be super duper awkward. I'm fine letting it develop more a bit later since we're dealing with actual kids who are going to have to smooch at some point.
As for the ep itself, I'm pretty neutral on it. There's things I liked: Fox (I'm sure you know by now but I'm still not saying it,) seeing some elements from Korra, Azula early progression (I know she's not where you want her yet, but I think it's coming,) George Takei as Koh, the MUSIC at the end, so good. There's things I didn't like: It is pretty all over place, the color grading for the Spirit World was kinda meh, pacing again.
I will say, I don't think they'd bother building such good models for Hei Bai and Wan Shi Tong if they didn't intend on using them later, so I really still do hope we get a season 2 and that it irons out some of the wrinkles we have currently, because there's still gems to be had. Barring the beginning of the episode which is kinda rushed, 6 coming up is my overall favorite episode for Reasons. 😁
True! Good point here. We’ll see what happens as the seasons progress!
The fog of lost souls is from Avatar Legend of Korra, not sure why they added that here 😅😅. If u never watch it Lt. Zhao ends up there for life 😂😂😂
10:44 arden cho from “Teen Wolf”
When you think that Koh from the original show was already creepy enough, Netflix comes and makes him even creepier. Turn Koh into an actual predator that actively hunts for lost souls so he can take their faces was a good change, IMHO.
Hey! Love your reactions 🔥 I would say a bunch of stuff but I found a scriptwriter / avatar fan “The Sword and the Pen Reflections” here on UA-cam and she has some lovely insights into the changes made by the script writers. She even had some feedback about some of the stuff from the people on the show. I really think checking out her videos on it is worthwhile.
Hi! Tysm! ❤️🔥 I absolutely love listening to her! It's so awesome that she mentioned the cast and crew are eager to receive criticisms so they can improve the show. You can truly appreciate the effort they're willing to put in. Thank you for watching with us 🥰 -M
I know that Doll it’s Mrs. Pretty
I don’t know why, but why did this episode give me Pan’s Labryinth vibes?
Actress who played June should have played Azula.
Of course they got George Takei to play Koh.
I like the way Azula acts because by the end of this season, you see her switch to completely evil & more secure. We didn’t see her during book one so us seeing this side of her before her insane tyranny of book 2 makes a lot more sense for how her story will wrap up by the end of book three since she starts slipping in the last episode.
I get this, but to me it doesn't really feel like Azula to be showing anyone her insecurities, even Mai and Ty Lee. It kind of works against her, like you'd think she wouldn't want anyone to see any kind of weakness if she's trying to prove to her father that she's perfect. I think they could've shown her being secretly insecure and overcompensating, not having to get a pep talk from Mai and Ty Lee to feel better
katara needs to improve her acting in s2. hope they get 12 or more episodes for s2 so the story won't be that mushed. also, they're delaying kataang romance since the actors are still young and that would be weird lmao.
Gyatso getting so much screen time made his loss too Aang so much worse, so in that way Netflix improved the series.
The Wan shi tong part leaves me conflicted. The voice and the design, amazing, but the Library was so cool. It makes me worry were not going to get Appas arc, and the related Kyoshi, guru, prision break stories as that all stemmed from The library episode.
I also kind of feel the Spirit world was lazily done. no scale, just close ups of them wandering the woods with a filter.
In fact this is a criticism I have for the show, they are too afraid to do wide landscape shots. The world is half the appeal let me bask in how puny the characters are.
This is exactly our criticism about Wan Shi Tong too!! Idk how they’re going to play out the library anymore but I hope they do at some point in S2 🙏🏽
Thanks for your insights here! We’re on the same page ❤️

Sounds like you guys are already on at least Korra season 2?
your audio sounds distorted, it's like you're talking into a cup. kinda whiny, loud, and tinny. Might want to double check your audio settings on your mics. It's like the higher frequencies are making your mic peak, it might be your gain. Or you may just need to fiddle with an equalizer, whether on your audio interface, or some software.
I bet if you turn your gain down, and volume up it would fix it. But if that's not the cause it will probably take addressing the issue directly. But it just kinda sounds like your gain is turned up and it's just blowing out the audio quality a little.
But having the volume high enough to hear the show makes the issue more noticeable because the show is quieter than your dialog.
Hope that helps! :)

I agree that this episode was confusing and I was not on board with the changes, but on a second watch I understood why. Still think this is the weakest episode of the season.
Yeah they should have just stuck with the Hei Bai story and have him kidnap Sokka ans Katara to the Spirit World. Worst episode in the season. I only like Gyatso's scenes in this one
i completely agree with your opinions, i dont like how Azula is so insecure, (i think theyre trying to give a little backstory for Azula which is fine but the way she's portrayed just doesnt feel like Azula whatsoever, i hope next season we get see her with confidence and more of her "umph" factor)
I also don't like how Katara and Sokka went to the spirit world, or why wan shi tong was in this episode, and Koh being there was okay, but it did feel a little messy.
also them blending the fog of lost souls into this was just weird because the changes just dont make sense and felt unnecessary. (ik its the spirit world and its not supposed to make sense but like its meh idk). Im open to changes but this just felt messyyy. episodes 4 and 5 were lowkey hard to watch for me.
i did like the emotions of each character and what they saw. it was a good way to tie it in but how they got there just made me feel discombobulated.
also seeing Gyasto was soo cute and heartbreaking. (and June was amazing, casting for her was impeccable).
They did not change anything up with Ozai. We literally do not see him in both book 1 and 2 prominently. Here he was pitting his daughter against his son. That is not what changing means.
WHERE IS THE FINAL EPISODE REACTION 😮🥹🥹🥹
The audio is so bad in this video

This was the episode that really made me dislike the show, but after this it got better. This episode was just so poorly done, grabbing parts of other seasons just really pissed me off, cause like what are they gonna do about it in Season 2??
Good for me that I haven’t watched the anime ‘coz i am just enjoying the show without having to compare. This series is 9.5/10 for me, and I can’t wair for S2 ☺️

Sorry I meant not taking the cartoon into account it's not confusing nor is it hard to follow as a show on it's own
Also
The show may not be an exact copy of the cartoon but it's not a bad show if you're not biased and bringing in certain expectations
Even the cartoon had flaws so that's not really valid criticism of the show
There's plenty left for another 2 seasons because there's actually a lot in just the cartoon not to mention Korra and the books and whatever else they can get content from
@@desolateslove6568 you’re right its not a copy, it’s not nearly as good. They didn’t bring neither the same flaws or character progression. In fact they changed it so then little to none of the guilt, hard ship or life lessons are there which each makes the basis of the main characters. Folks like you bring up the original cartoon and try to say “it’s not supposed to be a copy” as a chump block any of the show’s mistakes.

No we’re not getting fixated on the Original Series. We wanted Netflix to honor The Original. We are all for changes and doing things a little differently here and there. However make sure the writing is great. Make sure the dialogue is great and make sure the characters are mostly like the original PLEASE. All the changes and dialogue and the writing Netflix did is terrible. I HATE IT! When the original creators walked out and left that became the death of Netflix Live Action Series Avatar The Last AirBender.
I agree. There's a difference between quality and perception. Perception can be an illusion that may mask something that's real but quality is the real thing and requires no justifying.
Bro all I see you do is spew your distaste for this series. Like we get it it’s not as good as original but you’re on all sorts of crack if you can’t point out anything good it did.
Hate is a strong word bro and you just casually use it so does your opinion even have weight? Because I don’t think so
This was my least favorite episode of them all, the changes were really weird and really uncalled for, no body lost their face after showing emotion to Ko, and what the hell is Wan She Tong doing their!! And the fog of lost souls?!?!? That’s from Legend of Korra as well as someone transcending into the spirit world after passing away is also from the Legend of Korra. This episode made me a little more annoyed than usual.
