My 10 would be still here too, i would probably give this an 8.5. I really love the focus on lore in this one, still here for me managed to nail the music, the epicness and the lore all in one. There are a few scenes in this that werent quite as much of a wow-factor but it did give us a bit more lore progression and i like that

This is without a doubt the monsterverse film that has the most screentime for the titans. Yet it still doesnt have enough godzilla in it. Godzilla is once again being treated as a supporting character to kong. I hope the next one will finally focus on godzilla's story.

That Elise design, with the creepy mask, and the way she's animated is so, so good. I love a good glow up.

Shimu is a girl

Firstly, we open on an image of a wolf. It represents one half of Kindred . This is in reference to Ambessa blood, sweat, and tears because Mel has “The Mark of the chosen/The Mark of the Wolf.” Also, the opening starts on the same exact beach that Ambessa survived on. You can look at it shot for shot, I think it is on Rockrund, a beach near noxus. The next part shows Katarina attending a ball dance. For some context, League released some Noxus skins for Ezreal, Renata Glasc (the most powerful chembaron from Zaun), Thresh, and some others. The reasoning is that the "Black Rose" apparently has invited some other strong suitors to a party, hoping to gain their pledge to their organization. We don’t see them here (it is to be assumed they all might make teases or appearances in the next series), but Katarina snuck her way into the dance. Katarina is an assassin for Noxus, very skilled. Next, we have Darius, a young darius going up against a young Trundle, a troll from the Frejlord. Now we technically don’t know if Noxus at this point is attempting to push in Frejlord or if actually the Trolls came too far down on purpose. The Trolls of Frejlord are close with Lissandra, who can make ice-borne weapons and true ice weapons. To keep it short, Trundle’s club is not “True” ice, if it was, no mere mortal can actually touch the weapon, they literally die if they touch the weapon. But “Ice-borne weapons” are still very strong weapons, which is why you see the weapon start to freeze Darius' hand and arm. The gate that Mel is walking up to is the opening Arch to Noxus, and in the far distance is the home capital, Immortal Bastion. It actually is the largest standing building in all of Runeterra.. Next, as Katarina is attempting to kill her target, we see Elise pop out who is a spider. She also got invited to the Noxus ball, presumably protecting someone. If I am correct, Elise is more of a shadow Isle’s champ, but I guess she got invited lol. At the very end, we officially get to see Leblanc, it is confirmed this is her official VGU (Visual Game Update) and as of right now, lore accurate appearance. Along with Leblanc we get to see Vladamir, he actually used to be human MANY centuries ago, but he magically altered himself, absorbed power of darkin and has been using blood magic to keep himself young. Vlad and Leblanc established The Black Rose centuries ago, and they work from the shadows. There is technically a third person, but we do not know who that is yet. We again here reference to “opportunity washed up on our shore = Mel” (again showing a wolf because she has the mark of the wolf from Kindred) The calamity they are talking about is the return of Mordekaiser, which the black rose is trying to prevent. To keep it short, basically all of Runeterra does not want the mofo returning, and he is actually banished underneath the immortal bastion. As per usual, the black rose are considered “evil”, but in their evil doings, they are trying to prevent a worse event from happening as referenced right above. The very last thing people are Guessing it’s either a reference to Aatrox sword, or Naafiri dagger, both of which are Darkin weapons. Hopefully that breaks everything down for ya lol. On a personal note I am mixed about this trailer. On one hand, it stands amazingly on its own, and it’s basically teasing their next series. Please correct me if I am wrong because I have even been confused by it. Riot Games announced that this year, they would be resetting their seasons back to season 1 (thus why it’s called season 1 cinematic) and changing their format, since league came out in 2010, every year is considered 1 season = 1 year, thus they always do a top tier cinematic for launch. (this year would’ve been season 15 cinematic) . But this year, they are going to reset seasons and will include “chapters” throughout the season, meaning they were upping their cinematics now to 3 in a year. My point being, I am slightly sad they didn’t do their other animation. I don’t know if Riot Games is just going to go full hard with Fortiche on everything moving forward, but compared to previous season trailers, just a slight letdown. But if it wasn’t for comparison, it’s an amazing trailer, and if we get two more this year, that would be awesome. They definitely left out a lot of champs people wanted, such as Draven, Riven, Rell, Swain, Mordekaiser, Samira, Kled, and some others. I feel like for some very die-hard fans of just league, it could start splitting up the player base/fan base, just slightly. I personally end up leaning towards loving this trailer, though. I love the freaking music. I don’t think anybody expected to see Trundle or Frejlord and I think once we get into the Noxus show, they are definitely setting up all their puzzle pieces to then expand everywhere else, Shurima, Ionia, Frejlord, Demacia, etc. I also just wanted to point out if people haven’t thought about it, Katarina is a VERY skilled assassin, not only can elise transform into a spider whenever (Idk why she stops attacking, but it’s a trailer) but to take on two arms, plus her spider arms, that takes some mad skill and training. Again I know it’s a trailer, but katarina is really bad ass, just like Darius, embodies much of Noxus willpower, strength, and skill.

Bro this got me so hyped please tell me this means they'll do season 3 of Arcane 😭. Also I was kind of dissapointed it didn't go into the Noxian Ionian invasion stuff, but I'm not upset at a duel between Noxus and Freilord, and MEL REACHING THE SHORES AFTER ARCANE!!!! (btw Ionia is my favorite region and Yone is my most played and favorite champion and Dee you said you were most exited to see Riven well Riven is VERY involved in the Noxian Ionian invasion so that's a plus for you. And of course yall are crazy about Akali another reason yall would love Ionia. PLEASE FORTICHE DO IONIA 😭)

Scylla is the crustacean monster that was attacking Rome, but I bet someone already mentioned that. As far this movie this movie was entertaining. As for the favorites there's too many to count as well as the Monsterverse movies.

So a couple things I wanna add that people may have already mentioned but I haven't looked so I'm saying it anyway- 12:15 So the movie did already explain that Godzilla wasn't actually moving because of Kong, but that doesn't mean he didn't know he was there. Part of Mothra's sacrifice in King of the Monsters gave Godzilla the ability to sense the location of any Titan on the planet. So he did know Kong was there. He just didn't care because Kong didn't try to start a fight. 20:06 Yup. Kong senses the distress signal too. The only difference between him and Godzilla is that Godzilla knows what the signal is for, so he's preparing himself for that inevitably ugly battle. Kong doesn't know what the signal is for since he wasn't alive when Skar King and Godzilla last fought, so he's going to check it out. 27:42 Mothra was always intended to be in the movie, it's just because of how long it took to get the rights to use her from Toho that her presence is so small. The studio almost had to have her replaced with a completely original monster. 35:00 Yeah so cool thing about him. He mentioned he could communicate with them, and that "they don't talk much". But here we see that they don't talk at all. Meaning, to some very basic level, this guy learned a little bit of telepathy. 43:33 Skar King stopped the fight here because it only took that hit for him to know he wouldn't win against Kong. Also, Suko's friend that died in the lava is named Gnarled Fingers. 51:19 According to the novel, Godzilla was barely half way through absorbing everything in Tiamat's lair. Apparently this Bite marks 2025 cinematic chapter 1 is one of more than there are chapters in League of Legends so there will be cinematics for it. Necrit is already working on explaination video. Plus we will see a new League comic soon and it seems to me that the Arcane Ambese Chosen of the Wolf book is still available in English.
