Hello Ed! For years you have been my go to guy! I just want to say thank you for all the very important information! And I wanna send a huge shout out to your boy Ernie Castillo! I work with him at store 112 La mesa. Now I’ve hit a wall, I have been struggling to do a msb, lsb & program change for my studio sets. I am trying to do the program change with mainstage however, it links up but does not change even when I put the correct numbers. What step I am missing??
Is it possible to use the sounds on my FA06 with a RD-2000? Is there a way to link the two keyboards together? I'm looking to get better key action for the 06 sounds and don't want to buy another FA just for weighted keys.

I'll be setting up my fa-07 with mainstage next week, I have read fa transmits audio over USB so in theory it can be routed out of the Mac into an audio interface and out of that. So am I right in thinking I only need a USB connection from the fa into the Mac and do t bother with the audio outs on the fa ?

If i put many sounds in studio set.. and play together.. the sustain cut off very fast.. how to solve this. Polyphony dropping?
If you use supernatural sounds which is SN-S , you’ll loose polyphonies.. try to replace some of your sounds with PCMS sounds..
What about controlling multiple Mainstage channel strips? Why only one channel?

Same question. I could not figure out how to connect the RD 300 NX as keys with the FA with a midi cable!
Get a midi cable… FA06 midi in to RD-2000 midi out.. That’s it..
Can you use the pads to control the playback loop for running stems and still play live patches

Jonas Hoffmann It actually shows on the 0.40 mark that the sound from MainStage is routed through the Fa. So it's possible.
