Well the Uber CEO is in a perfect position to remove tips for Uber and pay a living wage to their drivers.

They dont need to "find out" how to pay their drivers a living wage, they need to actually do it, period.

  • @mommyfindingfit

Another problem is customers who lie and say we didn't deliver their food. I've had a customer look me in the eye, HAVE A CONVERSATION with me, and then report the food as not delivered! I can't imagine wanting a free meal so bad that I'd get someone in trouble just to get it!

The true villain is the CEO btw.

I just don’t use the service bc I refuse to pay an extra $15+ between tip and fees for a $9 order 😂😂😂

If the CEO of Uber really cared, he would change Uber’s policies & not charge a 25% commission from their drivers!

  • @sky-pv7ff

I am cheap and I stay away from places that wants tips.

  • @BeanWolfe

I wanted to just leave a little note for you. A lot of people who use delivery are not doing it because they are lazy. Delivery can be an incredibly important service for those who are disabled. And unfortunately, the money disabled people live off of is often just not enough to do anything and tipping is not an option, however if they don’t order food, they don’t eat.I personally am getting away from the laziness mindset and advocating for employers to pay their employees a living wage.

I don't agree with any system that requires tipping to make up the difference but holy hell tip baiting is just fucking mean.

Remember back in the day, when the restaurant had a car and one of their stuff delivered the food. Good times

I didn’t know one could even do that. That’s evil.

  • @IAMCorbi

Thank you for this. I door dash and this is so true. I’ve built relationships with restaurants and some customers but those that are new can be rude and sometimes claim they didn’t get the food when you literally handed them the order in order to get free food. Little do they know it’s a violation and will terminate your relationship with door dash. It’s rude and sad. However that’s not just with ride share.

The least the Uber CEO could do is pay these people a decent wage

This could easily be fixed if CEO paid the workers more 😂

  • @forevercinceremarie8642

I’m so grateful for delivery drivers and I always give a generous tip because without them I wouldn’t get my food when I don’t feel like going to pick up myself. 🤷🏾‍♀️ So thank you delivery drivers.

  • @russellrobert6084

I am so greatful for their service I always tip 20% minimum and even that's not enough for all they have to put up with...

If Uber really cared, they would make the tip-baiters file a formal complaint in order for Uber to consider lowering the tip BUT THEY DON’t CARE because it doesn’t affect their profits. Also, I think Uber has recently LOWERED the SUGGESTED TIP amount. Ain’t nobody gonna stop their car, go to restaurant, wait for the order, deliver the order for low tip amounts.

  • @dianaolivas8677

I didn’t know you could do that i would have never thought! That’s so messed up 😢 i tip 15-20% and i still feel like that’s not enough , this bothers me so much these hard working people have a family to take care of too even if its their cat or dog. 😢

IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO TIP, YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY TO EAT OUT. PERIOD.
