I think having the camera guy really adds to your work. He videos stuff that you might not think to add. The interaction doesn't hurt either. Good stuff!

As far as the home button... I don't want it exposed because I don't want people coming up to my booth and pressing it.

Make Something you should add a hole for a charger so it doesn't die, since you're playing videos all day.

"Sand in the place where you live" literally laughed out loud...literally

To answer a lot of questions...The craft show was 10 hours long. I pulled out the iPad for 30 minutes to recharge it while I took a diner break. Otherwise it played the entire event without needing to be plugged in. It's an iPad Pro and I put it in airplane mode and turned down the brightness to about 35%.

That's super cool! I think you should try drilling a hole somewhere around the side, so you have a place to press the home button. But, yeah that thing is awesome!

    • @MakeSomething

Thanks! I don't want the home button exposed because I don't want the craft show crowd pressing it.

I literally just choked on my coffee laughing at the unexpected and wonderful "Sand in the place where you live"! Plus, I do my work in my apartment, so in my case it is literally true!
Also, I want to thank you for giving me something joyful and creative to focus on, because I have been numb and grieving since Tuesday, and I really, really need to return to the land of the living.

Nice Kiosk. The post-construction viewer comments "must have" features (bluetooth speaker, charging ability) for it are great ideas as well. Looking forward to the second channel craft fair experience videos. I plan to start doing those in 2017 so great timing.

love the mic clip swivel action. One thing Ive done in the past to mount my headphone amp on a mic stand was take the actual clip part off and replace it with 2 little L brackets facing the opposite way then screw it whatever you want to mount!

Love the stand, really looks cool. i want to build myself a coffee bar "hidden one" i have a nice coffee maker and nice coffee but people sometimes don't respect my stuff. So i thought a "bedside table" type deal. Again i live in a place where all i can get is pine and tools are scary expensive "not to mention" space is a problem "since i live in a room and not a house" So any ideas on something inexpensive that could do the trick? Also how to i stop it from becoming a termite feast? i do have basic power tools it is just cutting will be manual.
