I think you guys messed up the width of hand measurement reference in @ 2:57. No way anyone has a 19cm wide hand unless they are spreading out their fingers. Even the announcer says 9cm. Would update the graphic and repost.
Wow, I'm glad I found this video! I'm a big guy (around 6'1) and I always thought that I had bigger hands, but I'd never measured them. I've been using an extra large mouse with hands 6.75×4.75 inches (17×12 cm L×W)
I'm a palm grip user, and decided to try fingertip. So I used it for a month and a half, not only was it much more taxing for my hand muscles, I found that in actual games, I didn't even use my fingers for micro-adjustments anyways, nor did I use my wrist much. Not to mention that playing with fingertip grip literally made my ability to control and aim my mouse non-existent. I was so bad that everyone was blaming, flaming, and being toxic to me in ranked games. It makes sense since I've spent a lifetime using palm grip, and I'm sure using fingertip is more advantageous long term, but I'm 33, and my reaction time's already pretty bad. It's not worth it for me to spend maybe a year trying to develop fingertip grip, when I already have so many disadvantages and am pretty sure I don't care about going hard in any fps game.
I am a palm gripper, and any gun is full auto in my hands. I feel like button actuation is a plus for palm grip if you are using the right mouse. I'd say there are few downsides to any grip with the right mouse👍
I have a small-medium size mouse and i think the that palm grip is impossible to play on as your fingertips would run out of space. I was shocked to hear that TenZ uses 1-3-1 grip. I use fingertip grip BTW.
my logitech g502 does not feel large at all, ive used my friends gloryious and it wasnt much smaller, razer mouses in my opinion are way bulkier/larger
I'm currently using the fingertip grip style as I play osu where being able to move your mouse freely up and down, left and right is needed. Claw is too uncomfortable for me and using palm just stresses my arm.
I have owned the g502 actually for a few years now. I've been playing valorant for like 2 months now or so. My aim is still shaky and not very good. Somehow, even though my hand is even a lil bigger than the large mouse measurements, it still feels big to grip and i'm not really sure what to do.
I baught a budget local gaming mouse from a local brand, and while its pretty good value, ergo wise it's a bit off. It's bit large and heavy too. I tend to palm grip, but the flatter design leaves a bit room between palm and mouse surface. So, after trial and error I have developed this grip, I use thumb and pinky to lift the mouse's front a little bit. This allows me to glide the mouse for course adjustments. And for microadjustments, use fingertips. The position of fingers results in my hand to be in diagonal position to the mouse surface but allows palm to rest.
I hate resting my hand on my whole mouse, it's really small so I have to use claw grip on it My brother literally bought me the smallest mouse of all time. Not the model O, not the model O- not the model D, THE D- hella small
I use 1 3 1 with finger tip like grip but i claw in my index a little more, I guess I'm just weird or my hands could just be that messed up from working with small parts lol
i dont have a desk, i play on my bed with my back slouched, i dont have a mousepad, so my mouse is literally on the laptop itself right below the keyboard LOL
somebody who doesn't game gave me my mouse as a gift, and accidentally bought the small version and I have huge hands, so my finger tips and wrist both touch the mousepad lol
I used to be in the same situation. Got a smaller mouse and it immediately helped in both alleviating wrist pain as well as increased performance in-game!
i didn't know anything about mouse grips, i've been playing cs since 2013, and i just found out last year that different grips exist. i was doing the 1-3-1 grip the entire time
What MOUSE GRIP do you use?
5:52 is isnt Wardell from TSM
I use the claw grip usually

I use a mix of fingertip- and 1-3-1-grip. A big advantage of the 1-3-1-grip is that you have more room for microadjustments from left to right
Thats nice, i just use an office mouse with low dpi
Same, don't really planning to change it, tho imma try my best

Same but im at about 50% of my aim potential but i don't wanna make excuses

19cm is correct. 9cm length would be a baby hand or only the palm without fingers. My own hand is 19cm in length and I have medium to small hands.
@@esdeath2620I was responding to the width measurement as referenced in the post above
