I would like to say thank you so much for this. I have overlooked ergonomics for so long that I tried so hard to focus on mouse grip and aim sensitivity. After discovering this video, my kill average in Valorant went from 9-10 to at least 15-20 a game. Just now I had 28 kills before ending my day to sleep. Very insightful stuff that a lot of players dont think about. I used to think about these outside of the box things 10 years ago in 1.6. Teammates would laugh at me when I would talk about my posture, table height, etc lol. Thinking outside the box is what separates you from others, an advantage that others don't have.
I definitely feel a difference between how well I play with a proper chair / desk and how well I play when sitting at say, a kitchen counter with a stool as a seat.
it's been 3 years since this uploaded and I STILL need to rewatch this every now and then to remind myself to be HIGHER than my table so i dont fuck up my body and performance due to all day tension from a bad position. you're a life saver coach!
For me, I have to put pressure on my forearm just to minimize my “random twitches” when trying to aim. Happens more going to the right. So I have to flex a bit more just to keep myself from uncontrollably whipping and miss my shot/tracking.
Videos like these are very important. Far too often you hear about old gaming legends experiencing health issues early in their lives for their ages. These things really matter if you're trying to compete at a high level. Posture is key. Especially for PC gaming where you're tied to a desk vs traditional gaming where you're tied to just a controller. The new generation of gamers have to be the difference in this department of self care and not succumb to the curse of bad posture due to neglecting their bodies physical needs.
Honestly, I always thought my setup was wack but wasnt sure how. After seeing this, i got 3 extra cushions for my chair and it helped my arm sit more flat to the desk and my aim feel so good now. I also dont get as tired as I did before, you honestly deserve so many more subs, you are extremely underrated for the content you produce, well done!

Short and sweet presentation! With these advices adjusted in, my shoulders already feel more relieved and at ease (even for when I am studying/working).
Having an adjustable table is really really nice. This brand is pretty good, one of very few that can be lowered to around 62cm for short people, which is hard to find as most standing desks lowest height is around 70cm. We really need good ergo chair tho, with good adjustments that's not 1 grand in cost. 😥 And thank you Ron for making these videos and keeping them short and concise. The short part is especially good for my short attention span. 😅
I always wanted an adjustable table since I saw them at my dad's work as a kid. I'll definitely take a look at this brand, thanks for the great video once again!

Already seeing control improvements with having my shoulders in a neutral position rather than having them hunched upwards due to a table being too high/chair too low. I value your videos, hopefully going to save a lot of backs and necks and wrists!
This was the exact topic I was hoping you'd cover. I was really hoping you went a little more in depth with this though. I have an adjustable desk and have been trying to find a good height for arm aiming however a 90 degree angle reference doesn't work as you need to extend your arms out in front to lay on the desk hence changing the height you would need to lay most of your forearm on the table. Also for the amount of flare on the arm also has to do with table height.
I love this, ive been playing FPS since i could remember and ever since i got a new setup, I felt off like I couldn't hit shots and everything felt off, the biggest thing i felt like i was gaming uncomfortable, and if i didnt feel good it made me tilt and i wouldnt be able to aim but now since i found a good comfortable position, I could hit my shots and my mental is up!!!!

Thanks bro! Because of u i can reach gold in valorant! (First i think this video just b******* cause my aim is always sucks) but its really the big factor! *sorry for my broken english
UA-cam suggested me this video after i moved my gaming setup to an other room and i also were thinking yesterday about the way im using the mouse in fps games, well done youtube
This was very useful, by the end of the match my aim always goes off, and arm and shoulder starts aching. This is due to my table being higher. Fixed the issue by adding a pillow and now my arm is much relaxed. PS: I'm a casual gamer.
You have exactly pinpointed my problem. I have a non-adjustable desk, and I am sitting on a bed. It does not matter how many times I have tried switching to the full forearm aim, I would always get shoulder pain because of the tilted posture.
Actually this affects my ability to quick scope in a CoD I feel more accurate while there isn’t any off pressure on my arm, it’s better for gaming having your arm above the table and not below if you would have to chose one.
the arm being closer to my body thing just made me go from gold 3 to plat 2 bro this is what I have been not understand cause my arm hurt tryna have it on the table but this poistion makes me relaxed and able to think more
I love how you didn't actually give anything on "How Your Table and Chair Impacts Your Aiming When Gaming" and was just a big advert for the hight adjustable table...
There are 3 things you need to keep in mind: 1. Your chair height. (Your legs need to be bend at 90° with your feet firmly on the ground for the correct height) 2. Your table height (Your arms need to be bend be at 90° like in the video) 3. Your monitor height (Your monitor needs to be set high enough so that you can look straight ahead to the center of your screen. Looking down or up or even to the sides is not good for your neck.)
"Why not just own an adjustable chair?" "No, you'll also need an adjustable table, because it's probably too low for your knees." Looks at my coffee table.
Me playing on the floor with a cheap laptop and having to use my cheap wireless mouse on my laptop as a mousepad... huh maybe that's why I'm bad at Overwatch 🤣
I felt this quite a lot when I went to LAN. The desk setup there was a lot lower relative to what I'm playing on at home, it took me a little while to adjust because I had so much more freedom of motion than I was used to, so I was overshooting and overflicking a bit. After I came back I started looking for lower desks or ways of raising my seating height lol.
Saw this video just today and it's changed my whole mission this summer I gotta set some time to find an adjustable desk and chair. I've been getting posture problems and muscle strain trying to raise my forearm slightly higher to accommodate my desk!
My aim was insane after I moved my mouse and keyboard closer to me and raised my gaming chair height. I was getting headshots all over the place with 0 effort
Table and chair height ratio, screen Hz, framerste, grip, mouse, mouse pad material to mouse feet, sit stature, cable resistant, and DPI to game sensitivity. This were the factors I've notice.

NOW MY ALL DOUBTS are CLEAR THANKs man APPRECIATED 😚
If you only ever watched 1 how to video ever on pc gaming, this would be the best one as its one of the most important concepts imo. Subbed, this is amazing.
Thanks bro! Because of u i can reach gold in valorant! (First i think this video just b******* cause my aim is always sucks) but its really the big factor! *sorry for my broken english
😀
Tried adjusting my seat, and this video proved its point
UA-cam suggested me this video after i moved my gaming setup to an other room and i also were thinking yesterday about the way im using the mouse in fps games, well done youtube
Exactly I feel this everyday even my chair position from my table matters a lot it has already ruined my aim a lot of times.thank you😭
Ron your videos are exceptionally helpful. Thank you for all your hard work
These simple tips actually helped quite a bit! Thank you!
Glad it helped!
0:54 homie, stop stunting on me with them killer dance moves.
lmao
Desync?
Love the info tho bro. Always enjoying the fps info nice and straight to the point!! Keep it up
This was very useful, by the end of the match my aim always goes off, and arm and shoulder starts aching. This is due to my table being higher. Fixed the issue by adding a pillow and now my arm is much relaxed.
PS: I'm a casual gamer.
I was also thinking about same dude you are really good 👌
You have exactly pinpointed my problem.
There are 3 things you need to keep in mind:
1. Your chair height. (Your legs need to be bend at 90° with your feet firmly on the ground for the correct height)
2. Your table height (Your arms need to be bend be at 90° like in the video)
3. Your monitor height (Your monitor needs to be set high enough so that you can look straight ahead to the center of your screen. Looking down or up or even to the sides is not good for your neck.)

After watching this ngl I’m hitting more headshot in r6 than before
Aye siege fam!
After watching this I won the fortnite world cup in csgo
Malek Dahbour wtf
Ayyyyyyy siege fam 👍🏻🙌🏻
I play r6s all the fooking time
This was so useful 🤯 I’m still gonna blame lag but still 😂
Thanks a ton this video really helped my aim!
I actually tried your proposed method while gaming and its very efficient, indeed -- my arm feels much lighter and easier to track targets. Thanks!
I feel like I both learned something and did not learn anything at the same time
Im high as hell watchin this in 2022 for whatever reason..you need to be a college professor or some shit..you just taught me somethin ✊🏾
I've been wonderin this myself so its good to hear another perspective
Same
I love videos that go into detail like this
good video Ron but i have a question , Project A when ?
literally doing the "correct position" for 2 years destroyed my aim ,I just need to sit in a 45 degree angle to aim right
"Why not just own an adjustable chair?"
"No, you'll also need an adjustable table, because it's probably too low for your knees."
Looks at my coffee table.
Next video about carpal tunnel pls, and is it really caused due to high sensitivities?
Why would it be high sens ?
@@doydiyditx1445 because high sensitivities would make you wrist aim
@@doydiyditx1445 Becouse of crushing your wrist doing small and precise movement
@@Kasspirr cant the exact same goes to low sens ? Moving your hand over and over for long times might destroy your arm and hand ?
@@doydiyditx1445 That's why I'm asking for a video
Saw this video just today and it's changed my whole mission this summer I gotta set some time to find an adjustable desk and chair. I've been getting posture problems and muscle strain trying to raise my forearm slightly higher to accommodate my desk!
I was waiting for some thing like this! Thank you Ron :-)
Maybe you could do some vids with some of the guys you coached, more content?

thast where 𝓼𝓺𝓾𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓵𝓮𝓰 𝓬𝓻𝓸𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓷𝓰 come into play
the most natural ways to sit!
This were the factors I've notice.
him: how tables and chairs impact your gaming
pewdiepie: floor gang
Im looked forever for a video like this. Thanks!!!
thank you, now i know what’s wrong with my aim. my posture for my table was not suitable.
