Something change for me this episode for sure. I cruised to plat 1 with like a 67% WR and the majority of games were pleasant. Since the reset I am at like 35% WR and have had some of the worst trolls/throwers. I usually don't mind because they were so rare but its rough to now

This is the reason why i do not like playing smokes anymore. Omen is my favorite agent to play, but people literally blames the smokes player when things go south bad. It actually upsetting. I literally just play in plat lobbies but people out here thinking they are Tenz or something...

Honestly, it's best to just mute them and move on. After a while, they stop providing any useful comms anyway. Most of the time, they're probably just having a bad day, and while their behavior isn't great, this might be how they cope. So, instead of engaging, focus on keeping your own spirits and your team's high. Who knows, you might still turn things around and win. Good luck with the grind, everyone!

@@x2Sav Low Elo isn't even as bad as people say lol (maybe Bronze/Iron is a diff story) but most Silver players can be Gold on aim alone but low elo just has a smurfing issue no one wants to talk about. Like players that actually deserve to climb just can't cause of it.

This is the community Riot wants. They barely give slaps on the wrist, write some nonsense in patch notes about “steps they’re taking to improve behavior”, but then continue to do nothing about toxic players. Phone verification and month minimum bans on first offense and problems are solved but Riot needs people to buy skins on their alts.
I can never understand why people get so tilted and angry and still keep queueing. Like they forget they have the choice to just log off and sleep it off. Leave alone others' but why ruin YOUR OWN mood. Just log off and be happier
This is why I never criticise someone in Valorant, unless it's completely constructive and a pattern I see in them. You can't really tell what's just a mistake made in the heat of the moment, and what's actually an issue with their playstyle. So if someone makes one mistake, LET IT BE.
I get this right, I automatically assume all criticism is talking down to me, unless there fragging above me then I take it

Thank you for showing me that we have all experienced the same thing here. People join with solo or duo queue, instalock duelist, no coms at all, cry while backseat gaming for anything not perfect, com abuse immediately and then flat-out leave or beg for forfeits. Myself and many people I know have comeback from 12-0 down. Weak mental for sure, and unfortunately just so fuckin common. You did a good job dealing with them and taking it in stride. I've been just muting them mostly.
I'm glad to say that no one on Val has ever been able to out-word me. They using they mic and I'm typing in team chat? They still lose. They on they keyboard? They still lose. They screaming into the mic to "drown me out"? Guess what? I'm typing, and they can't help but read it to sate their need for a fight- So they *STILL* lose.
I remember a game where there was an obvious new guy to the game playing Chamber and our Renya was just going off- Started flaming the new guy. So, I started typing and taking the heat off the Chamber (Eventually, they left Chamber alone which was my whole goal. I hope the person playing Chamber is doing well).
I asked Renya if he wanted better teammates (This is a trap). He said, "Yes. Leave." I simply replied, "Or you can get better MMR. Or what? Too hard for you?"
("Rank [Enter toxic player rank/level here] and still got my level of mmr" is a good comeback too. You don't explicitly state that they are wrong [if you do they get more mad] and at the same time, you're calling them bad [But most people that force me to say that aren't smart enough to understand that])
That's not all about Renya though! There was a good 30 seconds of silence. So, I typed in, "You writing an essay or grabbing more snacks?" Guess who submitted their essay immediately after I sent that message? It's honestly embarrassing how easy it is to read them type of players. Read 'em like a book and played 'em like a fiddle. I didn't even read their message because I was too busy laughing at the irony of it all.
They are banned now. To my knowledge they still are for dropping a hard R during the finishing moments of the game.
Might just be lucky or most of the toxic Val community is actually really weak and are actually scared of confrontation... But I'm glad I use my toxic powers for good and saving the newbies rather than evil and becoming like those who can't face their parents with integrity and pride...
There was also a time someone told me to go take a shower (A typical insult in Val).
My immediate response was going to be, "You too- And while you're there take a look in the mirror and look yourself in the eyes. When's the last time you done that? Too afraid to see what you've become?"
But, I decided against it. I don't actually want to hurt they feelings now, do I?

"throwing" as it's commonly used in multiplayer FPS games is not subjective. it needs intent to be defined. it's like a strike in fighting. someone striking an opponent isn't subjective, it's an action with intent behind it. a lot of people do misread the signs of throwing, but that does not make its meaning in this context subjective.

I legit had a super toxic game this morning because a washed duo (two immortals in gold) decided that my off game was just be playing like a b***h or being stupid. Like what do they want from me I’m playing cypher and they keep one tapping me after they break my trips. The worst toxic ppl are the ones who play better than you… Really hurt my mental. (Btw guys if you’re playing bad or having an unlucky game look for ways to encourage or help the teammates that are doing well or good. And vice versa if you’re doing good but someone’s playing rough just try to help them keep a good mental. It does so much work. GL brothers and sisters!)
took a few month break and came back and agreed. so many people just wanting to ff and being toxic. Playing Omen and theres always a Jett that tells me how to play but I end up entrying for them cause they cant.

You can definitely tell when Flex (or any player) is on tilt because of how quickly they flame or respond to flame and trolling. Early on in the video he handles the Jett kind of well, but the later games show how being on tilt hurts your ability to deal with people throwing
It’s been like this across all ranks, my friends silver to plat games and my asc and immo games are all the exact same experience just at different skill levels. full mutes, ironically toxic players, manchilds, throwers for the sake of “my UA-cam video”, and SOOOOO much more. Ppl just make a new account or buy a new level lvl30 account for like $2. It’s gotten even worse with even more egotistical fucks instalocking chamber and bottom fragging followed by flaming the team. I just can’t with this game anymore bro. The mental effort and time is not worth playing unless I’m doing spike rush or 5-stacking.
As a bronze who started a few months ago, ever since i started playing ranked, at least once every 3 games theres an afk in one or the other team, while ppl are mostly nice in this rank, they just give up after 5 lost rounds and start scrolling tiktok or just straight up go AFK, like if u are queueing comp, then how about PLAYING THE GAME. like there must be a reason they are hardstuck iron but they are just too stupid to understand.

Im ngl, i feel like a huge reason for the toxic behavior comes down to people taking Valorant way too seriously. Like the game is their life and nothing but their life. Which is I stopped playing the game, it's been about 5 months since I played Valorant. Compared to Counter Strike, I feel like it's a completely more out going vibe than Valorant. People want to have fun in cs from my experience.

Ranked on Valorant has been a nightmare and now I kinda don't wanna play Valorant all together without my friends because everyone is so weird in valorant and toxic idk what happened.
Istg, this game has so many issues but imo this is the biggest one. People are so hostile fro no fricking reason, i wonder if they just q to insult or (try to) bully someone. Could be so much more fun if at least people knew how to behave like a decent human being.

Worst part was I carried and we won, I wanted to throw so bad just to give them an L

And this is high rank lol, it's really more demoralizing in lower ranks for the same reasons but also cause smurfs (who complain an odd amount people in lower ranks play like their actual rank). Like I'm sorry you get diffed in your actual elo than you have to smurf but to complain about people in their actual elo is wild. Val rank is a HORRID experience especially solo and I hope they try and make some changes to it cause I have not seen anyone talk good of it accross so many platforms and elos (which is concerning for a game that that claims to incentivize playing rank).

9:45 that smoke is actually ass, bcs there is a wall there. It doesnt matter if you smoke or not they gonne swing the same and go back behind wall/smoke. So better to smoke it fully so if they want to peek they need to come out of smoke and cant go back behind wall that easily.
Except that means they can pop out of the smoke from more than one position, the smoke aligning with the wall allows you to to heaven and onto site as well.
