- if I grew out my gray hair again after dyeing it... There are a few things I might do differently if I dyed my hair and then wanted to grow it out for a second time.
So many women start their gray hair growout, get frustrated and quit. And you can find out why in this video : • Why You Dye Your Hair ...
But even women who have fully grown theirs out sometimes dye it again. There are so many reasons why someone who has grown out their hair would dye it again! I know if I dyed my hair again, I'd probably love it for a while. But I would likely regret it as soon as my roots popped up again!! I'd remember that cycle!
I have no regrets on how I approached my gray hair grow out the first time around. But it would be fun to change it up the second time around.

I understand why women want to dye their gray hair, but I think the natural graying hair looks so much better. And truthfully Lynn, you look great no matter what color hair you have.
I found a wig helpful. When I put it on, I realized how harsh my darker hair looks and that it never looks as shiny and beautiful as my natural hair did before color. I just love my unique gray pattern, too.
I love that i go 6 months or longer between getting my haircut, i went cold turkey and it bothered others much more than me 😂 but its now been 3 years and im bored if i was more decisive id already have coloured my hair, im feeling old, plus point i did get to use a staff toilet in a shop the staff member stared at my hair before saying yes. I think id feel more vibrant with coloured hair .
Thanks for this video...thanks for the tip about toner every now and then. I also laughed when you said 'chasing those roots' and you were brushing the dye on the hair.....that was so funny and so relatable!

Im on my 4th time growing mine out. And every time I re dye it i instantly regret it. I love my white hair and am never dying it again. I wish I would of just used color that washed out instead of the permanent dye but oh well it is what it is and im starting all over lol And each time i grow it out I get nothing but nice comments about it. People always ask me if its natural or if i had it done by the salon lol 🤣🤣🤣 You look gorgeous with your silvers 😆
Your hair is spectacular! I used overtone on the ends when it got brassy and that kept me going
There are some newer options out there. Depending how much gray you have, there are color shampoos and conditioners which can change the color of your hair temporarily if you feel you want a different look for a while. I’ve used them and they do wash completely out. I wouldn’t put dark shades in my hair that could stain, primarily fashion fashion colors like deep reds and blues, But to get a blonde, coppery, or brown tint, The shampoos are great and they do wash out completely.
Yes I have a few videos where I mention overtone. I would encourage anyone to do a strand test. There are at least 2 silver sisters i know of who used rose gold and ended up having to dye their hair again. Be careful ladies. Just take the time to strand test first! 🥰

These tips are really helpful. I an 6 months in with salt pepper new growth and highlights blending the bllorange and brunette old hair color. Recently I also cut it shoulder length.
Hey just a suggestion, I'd maybe get rid of that Danny Masterson clip at 0.21. He's now in jail. That being said, being curious about what was under my dyed hair was a BIG reason why I finally did it. I never heard anybody else but you ever say that.

I'm growing my grey here (2nd time around). First time I yielded to pressure from friends and husband.
It kills me it was so long and healthy, I dyed it and I thought I looked younger. But my hair started breaking off, my scalp was burning, and the dreaded upkeep.
You can do it again. Better to have healthy gray hair than damaged dyed hair in my opinion!

You’re not stuck with gray hair for the rest of your life. Have you heard of direct dye in fun colors? It washes out after a month to 6 weeks
Direct dye permanently stained my gray a few years back. Terrible idea I wouldn't recommend.
@@mzledastray2207 try Pulp Riot in the violet color. It washed out of mine after two weeks
