- In this video, I will be taking you through the steps on how to install macOS Mojave on an Unsupported Mac. Following these steps will allow you to breathe some new life into your older Mac, with some devices running so well that it almost feels like it is running natively! Throughout this tutorial, I will be using a Patcher made by DosDude, who has made many successful and easy-to-use patchers in the past. Thank you very much, everything worked perfectly, I had to do it by formatting the SSD disk, so that it worked, because if you want to update the system in my case High Sierra to Mojave, it does not work that way.

Hi, I've installed Mohave on iMac 9,1 ( Early 2009), however the brightness bar doesn't seem to work, I've followed your instructions from this video step by step, any ideas why screen stays dim and doesn't get brighter or lower?
the only bootable options I get is EFI boot or my usb when I click EFI boot it works.
I followed this tutorial step by step and everything is working flawlessly :) but at 12:45 when rebooting my computer it loaded the macOS Mojave base system and I went to disk utility but my ssd was fully erased? But it’s ok I saved my stuff to my phone anyway 😁

Forgive me my English is not that good but I will do my best to explain, 1) Will you be able to do a tutorial from the HIGH SIERRA to macbook pro not supported? 2) I have a macbook pro 2011 thanks to your totorial I could update in monterey, but it doesn't work for me when I want to make an extra screen, because in high sierra if the extra screen worked for me. The rest is working perfect, just for work I use a lot of second screen. 3) In MONTEREY or another version of mac there is the possibility of formatting the usb in mac os extended or you can only APFS and mac os plus, because I lower the patcher high sierra and when I want to create I get an error with the format extension.

Hi, I seem to be getting stuck after I try booting the from the USB. I’m able to see it however it just stays on the apple logo forever and doesn’t do anything, any suggestions?

I used DD1 Mojave on my 2011 Macbook Pro it booted fine. Then when it install a a security update to Mojave 10.14.6 it loaded but when it rebooted it's seems to be stuck Apple logo on screen and a dark gray line on screen like it's finished and a white cog circle beneath it but not moving.

If the computer is taking too long to boot-up, then it could be a result of the Hard Drive (HDD) in the computer being quite slow or even possibly failing. In this case, I would recommend taking a look at the option of getting an SSD for the MacBook. You could even just get a cheap option if on a budget, and I have a video about installing an SSD into this style of MacBook Pro that you can check out if you need to install it. From my experience, even the cheapest SSD’s will significantly out-perform all traditional Hard Drives (HDD). Hopefully this helps!
