It was brewed By Carlton and united Breweries Who are still going since 1854 as they make other Beers and im Pretty sure its now Brewed in England.
@@MrValhem265 Yes it is brewed in England, if you can call it brewing. As i have said many times you would probably drown internally before Fosters had much effect.
Many Thanks! Two main reasons I do not sell these is one the liability and two cost! There is approximately $500 of machining and material in this but have to say i use it every day!
Congrats on this build! I'm just now getting into DIY pneumatic can crusher builds & this one (by a huge margin) is the best one I've seen. Simple yet strongly made. Clean, compact design. Material was a little overkill especially with the soft end & return cylinder (could have used your original piece but now you have one your great great great grandkids will enjoy, bravo). The ONLY thing I would change is the actuator. I'd install a foot actuating pedal to keep both hands free. Sweet build, Ray! Having the RIGHT tools helps. Most DIY'ers won't have a Plasma or a TIG...let alone BOTH.
Thanks Daniel, The foot pedal is a great idea, I used one on my Crusher Cart build, link below. Sounds like you have this well thought out already and am sure yours will as bad ass as mine! ua-cam.com/video/jDY_CJAvFXU/v-deo.html
I have watched this a dozen times now, i absolutely love it. Best build by far. I have no need for a compressor but i really want a can crusher as awesome as that. So i might just convince myself that your never too old to get a compressor even if all you use it for is crushing cans and blowing up tyres.
Hi Dan, I was not sure where I was going to index the cylinder or I would have threaded the rear plate or welded the nut like you suggested. Thanks for your comment!
Man, Its a good thing you and I don't live next door to each other. First of all, 81 pounds of cans would happen a lot quicker, and I'd talk you into a continuous magazine feed and high power launcher for the crushed cans. Imagine how much fun it would be showering your neighbor with 1600 crushed cans when his dogs starts barking. Stay well buddy. I liked this video.
Hey Joe I wish you were my neighbor, all my projects would be on whole other level of greatness! We would have enough cans to feed the shops with more tools! Great to hear from you buddy!
This is a work of art Ray like all of your projects. I don't drink beer or soda but if I did I would be building one of these. You always raise the bar on all your projects.
If safety is a concern, the controls for this can crusher could be modified to require both hands to actuate the ram. This is commonly done with industrial hydraulic presses. With the operator having to place a hand on each of two control buttons or levers, it ensures that his hands aren't anywhere near a crush zone.
I have all the parts to build a can crusher like that, all the parts cone free from my job, just need a welder to build the frame for it. My cylinder is about twice as big around but 12 inch stroke and the valve is spring loaded
