I'd start with safety, mechanical operability, and rust mitigation. I'd service the difs, transfer case, transmission, check the wheelbearings and suspension. Another thing you might want to do is if you're experiencing any oil leeks is change out the oil pressure sensor and oil cooler lines. These trucks are VERY reliable but they need maintenance like anything else. I'll put out another update and talk about my thoughts on this engine and transmission combination soon.
