Seriously; some people saying how he looks distracted or something, and I'm here wondering how he isn't obviously paying close attention to Rie and Inga talking.
He also looks like he belongs in The Castro in the 70s.
Inga literally always does the opposite. When using chilli oil, she makes ice cream. When its coffee, she makes savoury ribs. Damn shes talented.

As a Taiwanese person, I love that I can see parts of my culture in the way Inga cooks. Little things like how she uses black sugar and garnished with chilies and cilantro really make me miss my mother's cooking :)

In Mexico they almost always put kalhua in it. I only see it on menus at sushi restaurants, and totally thought it was a mexican thing, not being traditionally japonese, and I’m now pleasantly surprised

In the Philippines about 3 PM is also a snack time! (Well actually every between meals is a snack time here) we call it "Miryenda" sounds like a Spanish word for me idk
In Spanish is merienda but it´s at around 6pm since we have lunch pretty late 2-3pm.
In the northeasten region of Brazil we also call snack time "merenda". It is usually around 16h-17h. Some people also call breakfast merenda in the region

If I have just the tiniest amount of coffee left in my French press when I go to clean it before I make dinner, I really, really like adding that to any sauces I'm using, or I'll sometimes add a bit of it into some hummus and it's incredible.

In Indonesia, our unique way of using coffee is to mash / juiced our avocadoes then put in some milk, condensed milk, and a little bit of coffee into it

Oh my god...I thought I'm the only one..and I realised it only today that I have a major crush on both of them and their faces are a little similar..
Making a tiramisu has been on my to-do list for sooo long but i was always scared of messing up with the egg whites (having done so before in another recipe) so Andrew's tiramisu gave me inspiration. Watched the video only a few days ago and made my tiramisu this way and it turned out so good. Thanks for the motivation.

It's a pretty standard thing with woks. Not all woks have one, but any credible place that sells woks should have it.
Some Japanese pots use them too.
I like to add coffee and a bit of Mexican chocolate to my Japanese curry! It really adds more depth to the flavor and somehow tones down the spice level. I think it actually gives the spice something to hold onto.
I love love love that the comment sections of these videos is just as wholesome and uplifting as the videos themselves
