Inga: how can I make a potato twist?
Andrew: how can I make potato fancy?
Alvin: how can I clogged an artery?
ahahahahaha alvin's recipe is the reason for high obesity lollll
This made me literally laugh out loud. Thank you.
😂😂😂💯
I thik Alvin has a crush on Inga
ভালোবাসা
andrew just knows every single potato recipe in existence
Fr
Welll… he did cook 25 pound of potatos
Humpty Dumpty 😁
@@rohanranjan616 I mean that's eggs but those are delicious with potatoes too
Andrew is no couch potato. He’s a Potato Lord.
Andrew looks like the Lorax here and I cannot concentrate on anything else😭
omg now I can’t unsee it 😭
Staaapppppphhh what have you done. I can't unsee it.
Remember people, save the trees
What have you done 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Andrews look seems like he is making notes and rating points like a judge 😂
Or is he the pizza guy in a 70s porno? 😂
@@lauren148148 this is the best way to describe it
@@orangeknight2441 😂
@@lauren148148 I
@@lauren148148 and you look like the chick who the pizza is being delivered to.
I’m more focusing on Andrew’s moustache than the potatoes 😂
Andrew with a moustache is my new kink.
Hahaha omg 🤣
it do be a great stache
I know!!! It kinda reminds me off the episode in New Girl in the last season where Schmidt has what they call a porn mustache. It looks okay on Andrew, but honestly it’s not a good look.
it's majestic
When Andrew closes his eyes, all he can see are potatoes. He cannot escape them.
"there's no resistance when poked, like me"
Inga being proud of her baby brother is so cute. 😁
andrew being potato king is one of the truest things i have ever heard
You guys should do an episode for broccoli, I feel like you could find some wacky wild things to do with it that people would never think of otherwise. Oooooh or yams, yam is such a versatile ingredient, or oranges which is another great, versatile ingredient. 🙃🙂🤪😅Love the episode! You guys are awesome!
I know you could obviously choose to reshoot the conversation between Inga, Andrew, and Alvin when Alvin's doorbell rang with his package, but I really appreciate how casual these videos are. Another nice touch is that your videos are obviously never "recipe" videos -- you just talk about the process and what that's like. I'm sure everyone has tried to follow an actual "recipe" video, and they are terrible for trying to follow a recipe and cook at the same time.
Loving this channel, keep it up!
Alvin is so precious..I love how he's like "it's just soup."
Andrew is like this blonde alternate version of Baron Zemo who just retired and exploring life with one potato at a time while sipping Argentinian wine. I'm loving this.
Yes!! Finally!!! He kinda does look like Zemo!
@@user-ep7ic9tz6c I know right!! 😂
A variant ;)
@@chykheangea3741 Mind Blown 🤯
"there's no resistance when poked, like me"
this is underrated
Inga is adorable. Or as we say down here "cute as a button."
Cutee as button every single one of you - harry styles
She smile with her eyes, this is so adorable
cute as a button every single one of you
This sounds so wierd......
@@mkn1220 do I see a directional here¿😳😍
I love how Andrew was talking so calmly and peacefully while smashing the crap out of that chicken
Ah yes, the return of alvins “no resistance when poked with a knife, like me.” Iconic... and terrifying to think of
Inga: "Okay, that's a little too crazy."
Me: Is it not crazy enough?!
sweet potato latte is common in korea so not that crazy!
@@rumjhumgupta7137 I see. I will try it for sure!
@@sarthakrout5509 Sweet potato cake is something traditional in Korea.
Sponge cakes layered with sweet potato filling.
@@peppa4412 sounds delicious!!
Sweet potato latte is also common in parts of China and can be found in Hong Kong too 😀
VIDEO IDEA: 3 ways we use matcha
3 ways we use banana
Thanks!
"When the knife pokes them with no resistance - like me" 😂😂😂😂
Alvin - “that’s just called soup” 🤣🤣
Just made Alvins potatoes (freestyle) and they where FANTASTIC! I wanted to add something fresh, colorful in contrast and to make it a whole dish. So I took a bunch of tomatoes, still with the stalk (what do you call the green things? Stalk? Twig? Idk) and just put them in the oven and roasted them until the skin cracked open.
just I'm gonna eat this every week now
loll when alvin made a potato joke and inga missed it
@Jacky Lau o ya whoops
when was that ?
Can someone explain that joke? It went over my head too :)
@@silvertwinkle6761 10:37
@@cauffee9762 well she made something with sweet potatoes, and andrew said "sweet potato dish" as in he was describing the dish as sweet
Potatoes also make a wonderful cannon ball if you have some pvc pipe laying around.
"And today we're making potatoes into a felony misdemeanor!"
Andrew all you needed was a "glue"....a thin layer of potato slurry with your seasonings in it then a quick dusting of dry potato starch would have provided a glue to hold the slices on but would not have been really noticeable on the finished product.....I'd also start it on the skin side and done the potato side second, that would have protected you from having to do the double flip.
I have to try it
I thought the same thing while I watched him cooking it, lol. what would you suggest for amount of everything? I wanna try it with the additional starch!
Maybe we shouldn't rinse the potatoes so that there is more starch coming off them? I also thought about maybe using an egg-white wash to adhere the potatoes to the chicken. I will have to do a bit of experimentation myself.
My husband and I just finished watching this and he asked "so when are we going to make Alvin's potatoes?" Soon. Soon.
"There's no resistance when poked, like me." Oh! You cute potato! 😂
18:48 yall need to start a new series called “now I have to do it” where inga/alvin/rie has a random idea like that and andrew makes it a reality
No one:
Just Alvin loving brown butter than his entire existence !!
A SMASHING episode!
I once had a “potato cappuccino”, which was an insanely buttery mashed potato, whipped until it was so light until it was almost like eating a cloud!
Alvin: "Good job Alvin"
Omg you crack me up!!!
My grandma taught me that if what you're cooking grows under the ground, you start it in cold water.😁
9:54 lmao it looks like andrew is staring at alvin
inga: "boom.. look at it.. steamed potatoes!!"
me: the happiest potato ever
1:31 "Andrew's potato king"
Andrew, meet Technoblade.
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
AHHHH LET'S GOO
Michael Reeves, Technoblade, and Andrew
It would be a legendary battle !!!
was looking for this
I need to know if Inga watched the video and got Andrew’s joke 😂
Lmao the blurb on inga’s brother “the bane of my existence” I feel you
Name the most famous dynamic duos-
Bread & Butter ×
Milk & Cookies ×
Spaghetti & Meatballs ×
Alvin & Brown Butter ✓
Andrew & Potatoes
I love this format of cooking, shows such a diversity of the ingredients you choose. And tbh you guys really bring your personality to the dishes, and that’s the best part :)
I love these episodes so much. I'm always learning something!
Andrew's cat must eat well xD love the little appearances
I love Skyler's description and how he freezes with the yellow and orange background.
wow i just discovered this channel. have watched worth it since the beginning. i love how chill and unpretentious this is. we need more of this kind of energy
Y’all are my freaking favorite. Your videos are interesting and you all seem like such lovely humans.
0:52 I remember this iconic line from babish's video.
Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew
How did they not edit that in? I was waiting for it.
alvin and andrew have less tension here. cute to see they’re warming up to each other.
I love Inga's reasoning of creating a sweet potato latte and finding to add espresso crazy. 😄❤ You could also split the latte base, add espresso, and then marble the two parts in the glass. 😊
i like how this is more of a chat with friends talking about food than anything else
Andrew saying anything in slow pace = sounds like philosophy class to me. 😁
( Just like @ 10:24 ) Inga and alvin be like
" yes , Sensei ( nodding their head ) "
Sensei means teacher
i love this series! the most delicious version of show-and-tell.
The moment after Andrew said "Sweet potato recipe" reminded me of my friends... Gosh, I miss them
Can you please explain the joke to me
@@urmimangal9217 It's a recipe for sweet potatoes and it is a sweet potato recipe, sweet being an adjective here
I LOVE you guys. Thank you for spreading so much knowledge and calmness into my days ♥️
i love how causal yet professional this series is
This is my favorite food series!
How surprising! Mine too
I love the casual feels of theses vids
I love this show. Thank you for the great content!
Andrew! Plenty of times while watching your cooking videos I remembered Francis Mallman and I knew you would love his style. Now you made my day, thank you :)
So when are we getting merch that says “Andrew, king of potatoes”
We could give him a crown of french fries
love the energy you guys bring to the world! Amazing video as always! Pls just keep doing what makes you happy and I will be happy watching anything you make!
I was just seeing my notification slide to see if the video came and when I saw it I clicked it as fast as flash!! 😂
That bacon being candied, I saw it. I was salivating at that delicious look
totally going to have to try inga’s recipe with ube omg
I love how they credit every source and receipt
The sweet potato latte is very quickly becoming a part of my regular rotation! A great way to get tons of fibre and a really filling drink, plus you can easily throw in a scoop of unflavoured protein powder to basically make it a full meal
Ahhh all of the dishes looks amazing will make it next time I cook
In Australia, you go to grocery stores and buy a bag that just says Potatoes. That's it. In larger towns or capital cities, you can buy specific types of potatoes, but you still have to hunt for them.
I cannot get enough of this channel and you 3.
You always post during my dinner time, and somehow I always eat something very similar to what you’re making 😂 love this channel 🥰
"The Potato King"
The word "POTATO" used in video caption:
All Eastern Europeans "click, click, click"
Am I the only one who thought it was Inga's brother who rang the doorbell on Alvin's part and will be a surprise guest haha 🙈😆
Also I think the sweet potato with espresso would totally work! People love PSLs. If I have PSLs I make them at home with real pumpkin purée. I can’t imagine this would taste too different than that.
It sounds good but I don't really see sweet potato as potato
They are not even related, you are correct
Smashed potatoes are one of my family’s favorite dishes! Goat cheese and hot honey, I’ve got a rosemary one, Parmesan, we’ve done it so many ways and they’re all delicious
Inga’s recipe is like the new pumpkin spice latte lol
A weird but good potato recipe is warm bbq potato salad. I first saw it in a UA-cam video from SortedFood. When the grill is hot char new potatoes (not sure if they're called something different in America they're the little potatoes) and green onions (scallions) on it turning frequently until you're happy with them put them into a tin foil pouch with a little olive oil and leave on the back of the grill while you cook other things until the potatoes are cooked through then finely chop the green onion and halve the potatoes and mix into a sauce of mayo with a little English mustard, Worcestershire sauce and fresh ground black pepper. Salt to taste and serve. Best potato salad I've ever eaten in my life and a really delicious side.
Inga is always so creative whenever she's supposed to make a salty dish with a salty ingredient she makes a sweet dish and the same thing when it comes to a sweet ingredient
Did you know potatoes are not salty :o, and she’s not supposed to do anything
Inga is so excited for everything. I love itt
ahhh i love how creative inga is with these recipes :”)
When I have a wealth of potatoes, I go with caldo verde. It's the ultimate potato soup. Typically it's Portugese smoked pork sausage (linguica), peeled and sliced potatoes, chopped kale, and chicken stock. But it's so easy to change it up. I've switched out the linguica for every kind of sausage under the sun, including vegan sausage - any type of broth or stock will do, and it doesn't have to be kale - spinach, collards, swiss chard, arugula, or any type of leafy green will work.
Inga is the queen of creativity. She always brings innovative, culturally interesting dishes.
Yes! Potato on both sides of the protein would be yum! Thank y’all!
These guys making intricate (but really simple) potato recipes and here I am doing basic cubed potatoes and roasting them in the oven.
"Tell us what you guys make with potatoes"
i make fries.
Omg its 2am ive already had like 5 meals and some snacks today, i was ready to sleep when i started watching this and now my mouth is just watering from that first dish
I love this channel sm
I'm gonna try out Inga and Alvin's recipes. They seem easy to do.
I'd love to see an episode on 3 ways you use yoghurt someday, cause I go through what feels like 5lbs of it in a week
It’s so fascinating to actually hear alvin speak
Andrew and potatoes, a match made in heaven!
Andrew's mustache keeps looking cooler and cooler! 😍 And, of course, all those recipes looks delicious!
Andrew, use a spiralizer on the potato and use the thin potato ribbons to wrap around the chicken and then fry it!
This is an episode I didn't think I need.
I think it speaks to what a positive environment this channel has created that you can have 21,850 views and only 9 likes :) great job guys!
Enjoyed this
Great video as always! Please do a video for avocados. I think it's gonna be interesting because in Asia we tend to use it for dessert (like smoothie, etc), meanwhile in the west they tend to use it for savory dish (like toast, etc).
I love this episode
I love seeing someone else using a pan as a Mallett. Cast irons are a bit too heavy for me, but my all-clad sauce pans are great for the purpose. I am not sure of the weight, but I imagine the made-in pans may be good as well.
I missed you all together like thisss🥺
Alvin! I always save my bacon grease for cooking, but you took it to a new level. I WILL be trying your idea of combining butter, bacon grease and garlic!!
Always just excited to see what inga comes up with
