Yea most people don’t want to hassle with replacing the ear cushions. Apple really did make it convenient and somewhat cool since you can do different colors. They are solid headphones. Def a little too expensive though.
Thanks for the review and very helpful! I lift as well and have used the Bose 700’s for a couple years now and have had no issues as they are also not rated to be water-resistant like the AirPods Max. I’ve been looking at getting the AirPods Max and was able to test one in an Apple Store and was blown away by how good it sounded and is considering purchasing. Your review is the last piece of info I was looking for so I will definitely get a pair as well. Much appreciated

So whats your take on them for a heavy workout (for a person sweats a lot). Do they stay intact while you are laying on a bench and doing different motions?
I have no issues with bench and other compound lifts. If I do anything that requires a lot of head movement or bouncing, they def move and can fall off. I take them off for cardio and hiit style workouts

I wouldn't try the sauna, mostly because of the condensation. Other than that they may be able to withstand the heat.. but that's def a risk. You should be fine doing planks, bench, push ups etc. I did all that without a problem. I only had issue with exercises that require a lot of head movement and running.

Just my experience working out with the AirPods max. Ultimately it can be done. I don’t recommend doing exercises with a lot of head movements though. Condensation does occur when wearing, so be sure to wipe them out every 45 to an hour. If you sweat a lot the ear cups will have to be cleaned regularly as well. I only had mine about 4 months. I had no problems but I can’t give you a long term outcome. A pair of workout headphones will fair better if you jus need something that can take some abuse. These need a little more care.
@@techonmydresser4523 Thank you very much for your comment. I will try and I will see, cause I really need a headset with good noise cancelling for work at home too :)
No. Only if I do something that requires enough force. Like burpees. Generally never had any issue doing typical exercises. I've seen a lot of people run with them. I personally don't like them for any cardio tho.
Only thing I don’t like about the max is I want them louder but not where the people around me here it. As soon as it gets halfway, it’s like it wants to be a speaker for for everyone. Like no I want all of the noise directly into my ears please thank you
Not hard really. Just a little bit of soap and water. You can buy another pair of ear cups as well. Maybe use one for working out, and the other cups for casual use.
No issues with any exercises that I don’t have to move my head. Also I typically wear them over a beanie, or a hoodie so it’s fits a little more snug. Def moved during cardio and a lot of hiit movements like burpees. So I take them off when I do those.

When I'm working out, no more than usual, compared to other headphones. If I'm chilling at home, not at all... But after wearing them awhile they can feel a bit in the way as they are heavy.
They sound good. I think they have a nice balance, but imo they could be louder. They could use a bit more on the low end as well. I'm not an audiophile but they don't disappoint.
I have Airpods Max now because my Sony WH1000xm3 broke, and I would recommend buying Sony XM3 or XM4, they sound better. Airpods Max are very flat and there is very low bass.
@@qtquix sorry for the late reply. XM4 aren't necessarily made for it, but do have a water resistant rating of ipx4. still a risk depending on how you use em. But could be a safer bet vs the Max's.
Yea they still work. I take a few extra steps jus to be safe. Which is basically wiping them down after I've been wearing them for about an hour. So far so good!
It depends. I didn’t feel comfortable running with mine on. Though I have seen people run with them. You’d have to try em out and see how they feel for you. Only things I did for cardio while wearing, was the stair master and the air bike.
Do you change the cups after acouple months because i have had problems where i would wear them for 3-4 hours a day walking outside and just wearing inside . The inside of the cups got mold in them
No but I would take them out, then clean or rinse them and let em dry. If you put them back in the case, they won't dry fast enough and will start to mold.
Another option would be to buy another pair of cups. Use one pair when you know you're going to be wearing them for a long period of time, and or doing physical activity. Keep the other pair for light use.
@@techonmydresser4523 yeah i have 3 pair now and i let them air dry after every use now in front of a fan .. i havent had problems recently since i been doing that but i change them every couple months and wash the others

When I'm working out, no more than usual, compared to other headphones. If I'm chilling at home, not at all... But after wearing them awhile they can feel a bit in the way as they are heavy.
How does hip hop/rap music sound on these?? Really considering on purchasing a new pair.
Yo why did you end up selling them?
Needed the money at the time. Def picking up another pair soon tho.
so say im a heavy sweater should I pass?
Probably. At least for working out. There are better options and likely cheaper.
@@techonmydresser4523 maybe the sony xm4?
@@qtquix sorry for the late reply. XM4 aren't necessarily made for it, but do have a water resistant rating of ipx4. still a risk depending on how you use em. But could be a safer bet vs the Max's.
@@techonmydresser4523 yea all good dw I ended up buying them so far so good no problems even if I sweat a lot
@@qtquix o okay nice! How's the sound?
Wearing them over a hood…significantly less sweat or not really?
Not really sweat. It’s condensation due to the metal. It made no difference though.
They still work?
no
@@rohanjain6915 how would you know?
@@natanelsolomonov9251 sorry
@@rohanjain6915 lmao the fuck?
Yea they still work. I take a few extra steps jus to be safe. Which is basically wiping them down after I've been wearing them for about an hour. So far so good!
awesome vid man, you should try getting a profile pic!
Thanks yea I def gotta update a lot for the channel. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Good video 👍👍
Thanks! Greatly appreciated.
W video
Lol do they still work?
Yezzir! No problems so far.
Would you still recommend if for people who also run a couple miles as well as hit the gym, or will they feel to big or slip off?
It depends. I didn’t feel comfortable running with mine on. Though I have seen people run with them. You’d have to try em out and see how they feel for you. Only things I did for cardio while wearing, was the stair master and the air bike.
Cash nasty lookalike
Cut The background music good Lord
no.
New subbie!
Thank you! Much appreciated.
Why can’t people just use products made for exercise like AirPods Pro 🙄
Idk That disturbs you, don‘t fuckingwatch the Video about exactly this topic
If you workout for 2+ hours in ear headphones hurt so you would want something more comfortable
I have airpods pro. No matter what I do, they always fall out of my ears after my body temp goes up.
All on ear headphones hurt after awhile of sitting on my ears. So these over ear headphones were the best option for me.
Wow this guy is smart. Problem solved. Kelvin Inciarte for President!
@@tonyv4860 no they don’t maybe you should change the tips
Are they still working? haha
I had em about 3 months and sold em... Needed the cash at the time. I plan to get more, to do something long term, and see how they hold up.
Jeez man you're a weapon 3:55
😂 thanks !
Do they still work good?
Sold them after around 4 months. No issues just needed the money.
I babied them though. If you want something you don’t want to worry much about, these may not be for you.
