How did the Apple AirPod Mac compare with Bose noise canceling ?
@@bindumenon9450 you mean the EarPod Max vs the Bose qC45? Well: the build quality on the apple is much better (aluminium vs plastic) it has spatial audio and the noise cancellation is much more present, especially when you turn on the “transparency” mode which amplifies your voice and those around you. This is what the Bose cannot deliver, but than its halve the price. So when you want the best: buy apple, when you want the best deal: buy Bose
I have AirPods Pro and Max. They both have their place. However, in a crowded place like a kid’s indoor trampoline park or airplane, you really can’t beat Max. I have the Bose QC25 as well. Those are great, but the Max is way better and worth it. Especially with spacial music.
with the Pro 2s noise cancellation is better
I’ve been wanting to get the Max’s for quite a while, but after watching this video, I am 99% convinced that I’m buying them today!
They are good headphones don’t get me wrong but it shouldn’t be in that price range

@@fortyinch i finally tested out a pair. they really sound amazing. however, i will not buy them unless they’re on sale. 550 is WAY too much. sad they have to be so expensive
Best Buy has them for $479 and I copped them.
hw burner they’re always on sale somewhere. Amazon has them like $70-80 off, and a couple colors were $150 off just a couple days ago. Think it was the space grey and red ones. Just gotta look around and you can find t when around $400-450, or ~350 if you want them used

I loves my new Max's. But honestly, I only went with the Max because I'm so deep into the Apple ecosystem and I'm a major fanboy lol

Got a pair of the same Space Gray Max’s in February. I’ve used them almost every day since purchase for long stretches, I absolutely love them, I hope you enjoy them as well, personally I have had zero buyers remorse they are the best headphones I’ve owned.
The case preserves the battery life when you aren’t using them as well as long term. You can leave them in there 3 days at say 94% and when you take them out they will still be at 94%.

Dude. You nailed this review! I love how you covered things from soup to nuts. One thing to add. You can buy a lightning to 3.5 audio jack for airplane commuters. They need to plug into the analog system on the airplane. Only time I need a cable sometimes. I put 60-100k mikes a year, so that feature is important to me. Otherwise you killed it!!!! Very entertained and informative. Watched the whole thing!!

@@angelherg1997 I like them tbh, in my opinion they’re better than Sony and Bose. They are comfortable but after 2 hours use, they start to get uncomfortable. Other than that, the sound and bass in general is top tier !!

Just found this in November 2021, Very Good job. Lots of thought went into your review. I bought the Max 6 months ago and agree with your points in the review. One statement you made in particular is how people hear audio will be different for each person. I just passed 85, and my hearing has some low spots in it, and can’t hear anything past 9k. But when I listen to music or any other audio, I still get a very good sound profile with the Max. Spatial audio comes thru as a much richer sound than Stereo, but for me, the placement of where the audio is coming from is where my ears can’t quite make behind, in front, above sounds out very well. I can hear great left and right. Still, as I mentioned, the sound is much richer, more fuller for some reason to my ears than Dolby stereo. Transparency mode is a standout feature for my ears, and so is Noice cancellation. Yes, the price is a bit high, but to me it is worth it.

ANC is better than in the airpods pro , but getting the max only made me realize how good the pros are already. i got them on sale , i don’t think it’s worth it to buy them at full price if you have the pros already. but they are extremely comfortable and the battery is insane

@@itspasta they are worth for the battery. Audio quality is really similar to the pros which was really great already. For long periods of time they’re more comfortable than the pros though.

I bought mine a few days ago. I had the Sony M4’s and before I bought the AP Max I tried the Sennheiser Momentum 4’s. I absolutely love my AirPods Max. I also bought a 3rd party hard case for it. It’s the best headphones I’ve ever had.

I watched this after I ordered the Apple Max to see if I made a good decision. Yup, you made me feel very confident that I will love these when they arrive. I am a total Apple fan and live in the "ecosystem." I really wanted seamless operation between my Apple devices. It sounds like this will work well for me. My TV has Dolby ATMOS and driven by AppleTV. You didn't cover this, but I expect it will work extremely well. Thanks for the good review.

Yes you totally right and thanks for you nice video and yes I did it I bought a pair and I have no regrets. I love them. Spacial Audio is incredible, especially when it comes to watching movies that support it. The noise canceling is fantastic and transparency mode is fantastic as well. I can talk to people without having to take off my headphones or turn noise cancellation back on and block them out. Since these headphones are pricey, I take good care of them and handle them like a newborn baby. It’s worth the money in my opinion. And you get it for sure I love it day and night mmmmsmiling

Very good video! I have a question…. Is the same maximal volume level between using them with Bluetooth and cable? I bought the cable but I feel that max volume level with cable is lower than Bluetooth. For me, 100% with cable is like 80% with Bluetooth. is it like that for you too? Thanks and happy new year!

Since you live in toronto you should test their noise canceling by going on line 3 of the TTC as the SRT makes the combined noise of 10 whole plane.

I got me a pair for 380 on eBay. The seller informed me that they were used for display at a store that shut down and that they were never actually used other just be behind a display. I got them trusting the seller and they did have returns accepted anyway. Lo and behold, the headphones were brand spanking new, no signs of use, white headband still perfectly clean and white, working amazing. I got lucky. A bargain.
I love using my airpod max to watch Apple TV when there are others in the room doing other activities in talking. I can even use share to watchtv (listen actually as i watch the screen) with a second person who has beats solo 3 or later, airpod pro or airpod max. Just sitting there watching a movie or show on Apple TV without hearing the other noise in the room and without the people in the room being disturbed by my movie/show since they can’t hear it.

Yo I work for the largest public park east of Seattle and have been using Airpods Pro while I drive a John Deer Gator and also weed whack and the noise cancellation has been barely sufficient enough to drown out the weed whacker but only one earbud is good enough when driving around in the gator, i just ordered the airpods max so i’m excited to compare the two apple products in a physical labor maintenance situation, i might make a lil video if it’s worth it

i bought the SONY XM5 and i didn't like the way it sounds. i like the way it looks on my head but for me the bass is a bit muffled and sounded unnatural and the leather or whatever material they used on that ear cup is not breathable and it's uncomfortable, i always found my ears sweaty after 30 minutes of use so i end up reselling them. i'm looking forward on buying the Airpods Max or wait for the second-generation next year. thank you for making this detailed review, had a lot of fun watching with that amazing editing. 😊👌
