That sausage stuffer is remarkable! Very well done, and through way you describe it. Price point is very reasonable! I see visions of Portuguese sausage, linguisa - and I’ll put the idea to my niece. Thank you for a great video!
Meat grinder is Cabela's brand, seasoning is Leggs old plantation. Just Google both. You can also check out these Vevor grinders as well on their sight. I haven't used one yet, but it may come in the future!!
Mix would be the same, you'd just want to add about 20% domestic pork fat to deer for sausage. Add a couple Boston buts also if you really want it good
It's in the comments section and in the description of the video. Use those links and you should get a 5% discount. Vevor notified me saying the 5L is currently out of stock, but several others are in stock. Just depends on how much your planning on doing. They did say it will be back in stock soon
I’m here to tell ya, this was better than any of the homesteading videos on UA-cam. Outstanding video, and I mean that. Already looking forward to the next video. (even if you are ridin that gayeeee bike) JK, love it guys, and really can’t wait for the next one.
It does come with suction cups, but I did not like them that well. I'll probably bolt it to a piece of lumber like our other one. Wood don't slide bad on our countertop
We use cell gates we build using the Hog Boss Controller, and most recently we have the Pig Brig. Two best ways to trap I've seen Both work, each has its own place
I'll be storing it out of sunlight as much as possible. Hogs get used to it being put up within days. It's highly effective from what we've seen so far in wiping out whole Sounders, and you don't have to have cell signal. Pig Brig really should have got on board with us as a sponsor, but I'll promote good products either way
@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 i looked back at a few of your videos, looks like yall are doing well keeping the population down! Ive looked into the brig before but for the little bit of trapping i do its hard to justify the investment. Looks like its a great design and they sure thought a lot through and made it easy to set up. Best of luck to yall, looking forward to more videos in the future from yall.
You talked about trying to save corn and stuff till next year. Lol. When I was still hunting I was going to be cute and safe a bag of corn till the next season. Bow season came around and I grabbed what I thought was a bag of corn. I toted a 50 lb bag of dust all the way to the back 40 !!! You suggested giving it away. If you can’t or don’t know may as well dump it where squirrels or something besides meal worms or whatever got it. Lol
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 Better than the bugs or mice ! Oh and that sausage looks awesome. My 2 sons are trying to get into the whole deer processing. My oldest is doing what he can, my youngest lives in Missouri and can’t kill a deer up there ! lol. I’m trying to talk them into doing what my dad use to do. Right here on the place he use to process at least 2 steers every year. Now that’s straight money right there but it’s hard with them being away in other states. And my ass is trying hard to stay out of a wheelchair. That ole MS has been being real mean lately. But it’s all going to come together. We get them bull calves started y’all have to slip across that state line and pig out on some ribeye with us !
So with that bacon cheddar ranch, did you add the ranch on top of that commercial seasoning or use the ranch packets only as the sausage seasoning? Did you come up with a ratio?
No, I mixed our regular seasoning just like making plain sausage, then added 4 packets of Ranch. 1 per 5 lbs of sausage. 1 lb cheese per 10 lbs of meat, and jalapeno to taste. This wasn't a recipe I followed, it was just something I dreamed up to change these videos up a bit. It's definitely top 3 of the sausage I've ever made. Ranch isn't overbearing, but you can taste it, same with the bacon and cheese. All of it just came together. You could make patty sausage the same way, but leave cheese out or it sticks and burns bad in skillet😉
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 you should really try the Hidden Valley Fiesta And an h packets. That would be a game changer I bet. I got a recipe I need to send you with that stuff.
I have a stuffer identical to that one made under another name that I’ve had for about 4 or 5 years now. I love mine, and it has never failed me. The only thing that I don’t care for is the amount of meat that is left in the elbow when you’re done. When you’re making 120 lbs it not a big deal, but when you’re making a small batch (5lbs)it leaves about 3/4 lb in the elbow that you have to try and stuff by hand. 🤬 It usually ends up as a package of bulk sausage.
I'ma say a package of Patty sausage is gonna be the best thing for that but in the elbow!!! Glad to hear it's lasted, looking fwd to using ours a lot. Most the time were at least making 25 lbs
We don't sell them, in Arkansas where we hunt they have to be removed from traps dead to be legal. I think Texas can still remove alive and sell, but hunters have made matters worse on themselves by relocating wild hogs. Wish it wasn't so, but we go by the rule book!!

Enjoyed
Right on, recipe for success!!
Nice catch!
Thanks
Great video, by the way, did you add any curing salt before cold smoking?
Yes, added it in the video when mixing the sausage before grinding
@ Thanks
No problem
Awesome video I could hang out with yall all the time
Thanks, Appreciate it a bunch!!
Gotta get me a stuffer then, thanks for the video, 👍🏾👍🏾
No problem, thanks for watching!!

It's pretty nice. I recommend greasing with food grade grease and bolting it to a bigger base. You'll enjoy it
Put the link and for that season and meat grinder I had one but it play out

New to your channel thank u brother I do hog hunting and deer to so what kind of mix do they have for deer
Mix would be the same, you'd just want to add about 20% domestic pork fat to deer for sausage. Add a couple Boston buts also if you really want it good
Will you leave the information where we can order that stuffer

The Ebikes are pretty nice!!! Glad you enjoyed the video. More coming soon!!
Making me hungry 😋
They good for shore
Looks like you need to get your half inch plywood and bolt it to it to keep it from wobbling put rubber grip leg on the bottom
It does come with suction cups, but I did not like them that well. I'll probably bolt it to a piece of lumber like our other one. Wood don't slide bad on our countertop
Hey I’m sure it’s been asked but what trap are you using to catch the hogs ?
We use cell gates we build using the Hog Boss Controller, and most recently we have the Pig Brig. Two best ways to trap I've seen
Both work, each has its own place
Just come across your channel. How yall like that pig brig? Yall leave it up most of the year or move it often?

carnavor is good too
Is that a brand stuffer?

If had the availability of the fresh pock I would do the same ham bacon roast steak
I tried bacon, but didn't like it toughness on wild hogs. Hams to me are fine off them, and Roasts are great!!!
Watch using your hand in the sausage it can make your blood pressure go up my mom found this out doing spoonbill egg
I'm gonna have to do research on this. Never heard that before, but thanks. Might be what's wrong with me🤣🤣
Hey man, sure is a few pigs for sure. Would you consider selling some pigs?
We don't sell them, in Arkansas where we hunt they have to be removed from traps dead to be legal. I think Texas can still remove alive and sell, but hunters have made matters worse on themselves by relocating wild hogs. Wish it wasn't so, but we go by the rule book!!
Can you next time to show how to do fried pork skins? I love Baken-ets Original pork skins.
I definitely have my favorite and could, but I really like domestic when doing them!!
Olá sou do Brasil, essa redes como faço para comprar aqui não tem dessas
Chains? What Chains?
How do I buy these hammocks?
How do I buy these networks (screens)
God's country😂your a joke you trapped them then killed them ,that's not hunting that's unfair advantage it illegal in most states!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
